Many appreciate the long battery life and wireless convenience, although some find the headset heavy and the bass response could be improved. A few also noted that the price point might be considered high by some buyers.

Scroll down for Pros/cons to save some time but feel free to read my review for explanations: Good but not great. I'll try to break it don't to my best of ability. The quality of the music is good. Has good bass and not over the top. ICUE will allow you to bass manage but it's average. Several presets to soften/brighten the tones. The quality of the in-game sounds are good. I prefer stereo over the 7.1 surround sound when gaming. Movies are decent in 7.1 IF they support it. Aesthetics: Excellent plus RGB. Gives you additional FPS in life. jk Weight: Average Build Quality: excellent but how long with that last I'm uncertain. ICUE software: Needs improvement, You can't mix properly. Windows 10 will allow you to mix a bit. Missing separate chat volume. this helps with discord users to filter out game sounds vs chat sounds. A necessary option for true pc gamers. Seriously though, Why didn't they think about a chat volume control. It uses USB-A to USB C for charging. The button on the right ear, switch up for wired, switch down for wireless. You do get better sound while wired because of better power delivery. Battery life is average. It will whisper that battery is low or you can just look at the light on the left ear. Ear cups: I would prefer if they were swappable but they are not. Pros: Quality Construction Wireless or wired Tasteful RGB Tasteful design (I love the gunmetal look) You can swap out usb mic. Cons: Price 50$ too much Can't swap earcups Missing chat volume mixer ICUE software is trash. but expect patches over time. maybe it will get better. Overall: I think it wins in the Looks department but for function it's average and ICUE likes to remove my presets randomly. (very annoying) When you press the mic on/off it will whisper in your ear that it's either on or off but by default it's very loud. You can mute it in the ICUE software. Random buzzing when listening to audio while wireless. If this happens switch to wired mode back to wireless mode. It should go away. I personally like my Arctis 7's better than these because of the retractable mic and the separate chat volume. It mixes better in discord. The end caps like to collect finger prints and dirt. Cleaning them is a pain because of the grooves. Not worth 209$ so wait for a sale or price match option. Best to look at other brands who provide better options But if aesthetics are you primary goal then by these.

    The Bass is lacking

Sound is subjective. Therefore, what I like may be different for what you like. I purchased these headphones and returned them 2 days later because I didn't feel like they were worth the $220 price tag. I like bass in my headphones, and the bass in the Virtuoso's are lacking BIG time! I definitely expected more for the price. Pros: The build quality is good. They come with a wireless dongle. However, you cannot connect them wirelessly to a phone or any bluetooth devices. Clean voice audio. If your phone has a USB-C port then you can connect them to your phone and use them as headphones. I have a Note 10+ and it worked on my phone. The audio quality coming out of the headphones is clean but it isn't amazing, at least it isn't to me, like some folks claim it is. (Remember: Sound is subjective) If you already have Corsair products then you don't have to download additional software. Cons: These headphones should be around $129-149. $220(tax included) is too much. iCue software could cause audio issues. It caused problems with the pair that I had, but I fixed it by uninstalling iCue and my audio drivers then reinstalling them. Bass is lacking. The USB-C placement on the headphones is terrible. The ear cuffs are slim therefore your ears will probably press against the drivers. Tip: If you don't have Dolby Atmos or DTS surround on your computer and you're using these headphone then you're missing out on sounds. It isn't needed but you will notice a difference if you have at least one of them activated, even if you have regular stereo headphone. In summary, I don't think you will be disappointed if you purchased these headphones. However, they are not for everyone. Buy them and test them out, and if you don't like them, then return them. I have high standards when I pay high prices for certain items.

For what they are the audio quality, mic quality, and battery life are all great but the only negative I have with this pair is mostly the comfort. The earcups that come with this headset aren't good I recommend buying a replacement when you get these (They're so much more comfortable than the factory ones) Also the range on these headphones isn't what they claim to be, It's a lot less than they state. But overall I'd recommend this to a friend because they are a good pair of headphones compared to what's on the market right now for the price.

Solid headset with a durable feel. Audio quality is above average and helps a lot in Esports games. The ear cups are comfortable and soft for hours of use. Battery life is also great, and it also has several levels of warning before dying. 20-30 ft wireless range through walls in my house with some cutting out after 2 walls between PC and headset. You CAN disable the RGB.

I came from the Corsair hs70 and these sound better than those. Quality build they’re great in my opinion. I like the ear ups but wish they were a bit bigger and deeper like the hs70’s. Sound is great. I generally use the atmos on the computer tho. Battery life is also good. My one gripe is I wish the volume wheel worked the same way they did on the h70’s, where they only controlled the headset volume and not windows volume, that way I don’t have to raise the volume up to 80-90. Where as my hs70’s I could set windows volume to 50 and just raise and lower the headset volume with a it’s wheel. Idk maybe I’m just weird lol. Either way it’s a great headset and I’d buy it again when on sale.

These headphones don’t have the best audio quality that I’ve had for this price point, however they are very comfortable. I wear them all day during work and they don’t hinder me in any way. Battery life is also great, I frequently forget to charge them after a normal day of use and can still pick them up later and continue using them.

I waited a month before writing this to make sure that they were still as good as day one. As of right now, there is still one hiccup with the iCUE but that should be solved shortly and only effects the name of the device on its internal console. Comfort wise, I have zero issue with these. I typically enjoy mesh over leather but the memory foam is far superior to what I have used before. One downside is still how well it traps heat, and during long sessions can get a little warm especially as we approach summer. Mic quality is better than anything I have had so far, upgrading from a Corsair VOID PRO. It picks up a much wider variety of tones as well, so I can speak quietly and it will still do a good job of picking it up. I would say in some instances it actually picks up too much noise, depending on your setup. Audio quality is fantastic for gaming. I would not recommend these for strictly music/movie use, but as an all around headphone they are great. The biggest drawback from music and movies is its somewhat low volume cap mixed with subpar bass boosts. It focuses more on precision noise, I wish I could explain it better. But it picks up footsteps around me better then it pushes out bass from a live concert using the same EQ. I wish it was a little cheaper, but for the price I am hoping to get a solid two years out of these before seeing any hardware issues. Otherwise, everything has been great so far.

This headset is extreamly comfortable. They fit like a cloud on your ears. Customization for the color and sound through icue are pretty cool but doesn't quite feel worth it for me. I have the sound drop out a few times and have to reset the headset, don't forget to switch off the headset either or they will be dead in the morning lol, you can use it though while charging which is nice. Sound quality is OK but the astro A40's blow the sound out of the water for me. Overall this is top quality headset but in my opinion spend the extra 50 bucks for the Astro A40s with the mix amp to adjust game and voice sound on the fly you will not be disappointed!

I am a life long Corsair fan everything I own PC wise was made by them I fully endorse most of there products. I was really excited for this headset, it looks amazing it feels great on your head super comfy. My only issue is when using the wireless with the CUE software once you get a few feet away from your dongle. It tries to reconnect you and you end up with two connections and your microphone can no longer be muted and you can’t hear the feedback. The only fix for this is to resync the headset via the usb wire. Anyone who uses Corsair knows that the CUE is plagued with issues like this so my only real complaint is just that otherwise the sound and microphone quality are amazing.

I was really excited to get these because I been waiting to upgrade from my current headset and most of my rig is corsair base. Then after 2 hours of use it all changed. This headset gets really tight on your ears, there really is no bass, and there is no power button besides unplugging the usb or flipping wired/wireless mode. Also everything has to be done in icue. I'm not an audio guy but I was looking for something with a little more punch. The build quality was solid and I loved the usb type c and other connections, but I wish they didnt make the earcups so small. Otherwise treble and sound clarity was crisp. I dont know, it might be good for other user but it just wasnt what I expected.

The Virtuoso wireless headset has a lot of good features. First of all it is gorgeous with great lines, very visually appealing. The headband and ear cup pads are plush and comfortable, and the construction allows for decent head clamping pressure without feeling overly tight or uncomfortable. The only issue I have with comfort is that my ear lobes press against the inner cup walls, so I wish they'd have designed them with an angle to prevent that, but it isn't even a real issue after several hours of gaming. Second, these have an audio quality that surpasses the Void Elite RGB headset which I've also owned, but not by as much as I would have expected at that price point. For the same price you can get the Arctis Pro headset from SteelSeries and have discernably better audio quality (admittedly you sacrifice the wireless for it). The mic quality, however, seems pretty in point, especially for it being a wireless headset. Possibly the best wireless headset mic on the market. Third, the mic is detachable, the battery life is more than adequate for several multi-hour gaming sessions, and most important, it charges with USB C! FINALLY!!! Gaming peripheral developers need to hurry and wake up to USB c. Let's see more of it! Overall this is a good headset. The sound quality and slightest of comfort issues with the inner earcup walls keep this from being a great product, but only just barely. And as a result I do not think this is a $180 - $200 product. If you can find it on sale in the $150 range or lower then absolutely, but for $180 there are better options available.

Solid product, great quality. Had to play with audio settings a bit to get them dialed in just right for CPU gaming. Friends on other end state the mic quality is great. Would give this more stars if i were allowed to do so. Pros - Build quality, Sound, Comfort, Mic quality, 3 way audio connection, RGB Cons - Bit pricey, can get heavy after extended use

I have a few other Corsair peripherals so I was already using iCue. The headset wasn't immediately recognized by it, but after an iCue update and reboot, it populated into it normally. The audio was non-functional in wireless mode after the reboot, but after updating the headset and dongle firmware via iCue, leaving the headset switched to wireless mode, unplugging the dongle, plugging it back in, plugging the headset in through USB, and allowing the dongle and headset to pair, both wireless and USB audio started working. The mic is pretty sensitive to distant noises, so prepare to configure your cue volume/noise gate in audio applications if you don't want your keyboard presses and mouse clicks to be heard. I wrote a script to switch default audio output devices and bound it to a keyboard macro, but otherwise there is no provided way to switch between them on the fly, so be prepared for that if you also use speakers with your PC. iCue offers some decent customization, such as an equalizer with presets and volume/lighting controls. Once installation, config, and troubleshooting was done it's been a solid headset. I can walk throughout my house without losing wireless audio signal, which my old Astro a50's could not do. Comfort level is above acceptable, but not the most comfortable I've ever worn due to the shape. The ample padding on the earphones mostly makes up for it. Audio quality is exceptional. Dolby 7.1 with directional audio is supported, so they more than get the job done. The audio and mic will sound harsh until set up in iCue. Overall I definitely recommend them for the price as long as you don't mind a little initial troubleshooting. Of course your mileage may vary.

Great wireless headphones with built in boom mike. These are comfortable, and the battery life is great. My son has been using this for zoom meetings for school and he wears them most of the day without having to recharge them. I've been on the same meeting with him on a different computer, and voice clarity through the microphone is excellent.

I bought these because I had some issues with my VOID Pro Microphone constantly muting on its own. I really love the look of these headphones. On top of that, my friends immediately noticed I got a new headset because of my audio quality. Their words were "it is like you are speaking directly into my brain". They are not quite as comfortable as the VOID Pro, but they are not uncomfortable. It took me some time messing around in the EQ settings to get the audio quality at a good place though. The sound quality is, in my opinion, a bit worse than the VOID Pro. Still good though and its definitely 4 stars for me.

Pros: High quality build, fresh look, very comfortable, great sound isolation, subtle RGB, good accessories, very good sound quality for gaming. Cons: Just OK mic quality, for 50mm drivers the bass is VERY week, could be louder (once again, for 50mm drivers they're not very loud) ICue software is EXTREMELY buggy, you need it to use Dolby Atmos and to customize the RGB, but for me it made using them wireless impossible (kind of the point of it) really hoping the ICue bugs get fixed. To summarize, if they are able to fix the volume and bass issues and ICue with software patches then these are hands down the BEST gaming headphones on the market in my opinion.

Recently snagged the CORSAIR VIRTUOSO SE Wireless Gaming Headset from Best Buy, and it's been a game-changer. The 50mm neodymium drivers deliver top-notch audio quality, from thunderous explosions to subtle in-game details. The build is sturdy yet comfortable, with plush ear cups and a detachable noise-canceling microphone. The Slipstream Corsair Wireless tech ensures seamless connectivity, and the sleek design, complete with RGB accents, adds a touch of style. Though a bit pricier, it's worth the investment for gamers who prioritize premium audio and comfort.

The first thing you'll notice with these is the build quality - Corsair really did a great job here. It looks and feels like a premium headset, as it should, since you are paying a, somewhat, premium price. The clamping force is not extreme, as others have stated, and the headband isn't uncomfortable either. Although, it is a bit stiff, but it doesn't feel bad at all - it's actually the most comfortable headset I've ever owned. The main differences between the SE and the standard Virtuoso are the brushed aluminum on the outside of the earcups and a bigger, supposedly better quality, microphone. Otherwise they're completely the same - they both charge via USB C, have a micro USB detachable microphone, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Are they worth an extra $30? It's up to you - you're essentially getting the same quality headset, functionally speaking, either way. I'm a sucker for the way things look, and boy, do these look good! It was worth it to me. They sound great, but you'll have to do some tinkering with the EQ within Corsair's iCue software in order to get them to sound how you'd like. In fact, you have to do everything within their software, including switching from stereo to 7.1 surround sound. This isn't a big deal, but it would have been nice to have a physical button that switches the headset in and out of these modes without having to open the program each time. I don't necessarily like the virtual 7.1 surround sound, as it doesn't really give you a rich experience, but that is how I feel about ALL virtual 7.1 headsets that I've tried. I just keep mine on stereo, but the option is there for to play with. The microphone is the main reason I give this headset a 4/5. The microphone isn't terrible, and some of the video reviews I've seen really makes it seem like it is, but it definitely isn't good. It's just - okay. Supposedly, the microphone on the standard pair is even better than the SE headset. I'm not sure how that makes sense, but there are videos that show the difference. The only other gripe that I have is that they aren't Bluetooth. It would have been nice to connect these to my laptop or phone wirelessly, but at least they come with a 3.5mm jack so that you can use these as a standard pair of headphones. I'm very, very happy with these and I don't think you'll be disappointed. I love wearing them and they were a big upgrade to my Void RGB Pro headset. Overall, I'd say they're worth the money and Corsair did a great job - minus a few gripes; however if microphone quality is the most important thing to you, I think you can do better. The Sennheiser Game One headset has the best microphone that I've tested so far and I'd recommend those to anyone who cares about that more than sound quality.
