Good, but...
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones sound great, but if you have a small head, they may not fit that well. They also weigh a good bit, but overall, the comfort is great and the sound is superb.

Nice quality headset
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think for most part this is a excellent headset. It has many features and sound quality through Atmos is great. Been playing some Far Cry 6 lately and positional audio is really good. I like fact that I can have connected to PC for games and also tablet or other device through Bluetooth. Makes playing games and watching a show on other device very easy. I have had no problems with the Bluetooth pairing it is fast and easy. The range through the USB wireless isn't the greatest, but Bluetooth range makes up for it. Charging is easy and no complaints about the indicator lights. As far as comfort goes, yes they are a little on the heavy side. But what do some expect for wireless headset with all features and long lasting battery. If you want premium comfort or lighter headset just go wired. I find the materials to be top quality. I also have the Arctis Pro Wireless and find the fit to be more comfortable than those and better able to adjust for best fit. Corsair as a company has been solid. Got my Vengeance a7200 through Best Buy as well and these are a nice compliment to it. I think they are a quality company and make quality products. I definitely think this headset is worth the price tag.

Almost perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't really buy any headset above 150 bucks but i been a corsair fan for awhile ever since i switch from razer. I been using my void elite and it's comfortable and sound is just fine but man i tell you i really like this one. I got the SE one first but that one i didn't like much so i bought the XT. The ear pads are slightly more comfortable than the SE but not as comfortable as the void elite (for me that is) i wish they change the ear pads but i guess i might have to change it myself and the XT sounds better than the void elite but I feel like the price should be lower just a bit not a lot but just a bit. So overall i feel like it worth it and whenever it goes on sale make sure to pick up this headset, it will be worth every penny.

Great headset, innovative bluetooth pairing
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent headset. If you've used a similar Corsair product you will be familiar. Great sound, great looks and build quality, and the extra bluetooth functionality is innovative and useful. Compared to the SE, these have thicker padding and while the SE left my ears feeling sore after a few hours, I'm happy that these are much more comfortable for me even after long sessions with them. The wireless range may be my only downside, but with a little creative use of a usb extension cable I was able to get clear connection through my whole apartment--the bluetooth will always give you extra range if you want to go that way. But I love being able to use my phone to listen to podcasts, music, be available for calls, I wear these headphones all over the place and don't have to switch to an earbud anymore when I'm concentrating on my PC. Do yourself a favor and install Dolby Atmos along with the Dolby Access app, you're going to want to play with the eq settings, but with some fine tuning these sound as good as any wireless headset in the class. In games the audio is crystal clear with great positioning, it will help give you positional advantage too. I never venture far beyond 25% volume because these are LOUD.

Best Mic out there
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A bit heavy, but probably the best wireless headset mic on the market. The speakers themselves are pretty good, not the best, but very good. The weight makes long play sessions noticeable on your head. The ear cups fit around my ears without any problems, but those with large ears may feel the inside of the speakers as the cushion isn't very thick. The software itself isn't too bad, I already use iCue for lighting. Not a whole lot to adjust so may not be worth it for those with just the headphones. Battery life is ok, I feel like I have to charge mine every couple of days where I game 2-3 hours a night. Range is pretty bad. You're lucky if you get 20 feet. My older Logitech G series headset I could go to a different floor in my house and still have a connection. Overall a good headset, especially if you use voice a lot.

Should sound better than it does.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I spent a few days with this headset but ultimately returned it because it just doesn't sound very good, and especially not considering the rather steep price tag. This headset has a lot of great features: high quality Dolby Atmos audio over wireless, even higher quality via wired USB, bluetooth, and you can even run bluetooth and wireless simultaneously to different devices. The build quality seems solid and I found the headset to be fairly comfortable. With a touch of modest RGB through slick laser-cut logos on the metal ear cups on top of everything else, this headset seems like it should be a home run except that it just doesn't deliver an impressive audio experience. Music and games both sound flat and dull with unimpressive bass and treble performance and an overall tinny sound, with or without Atmos enabled. For testing I played a handful of games and streamed music using Amazon Music's HD audio formats, and no amount of tweaking to settings in Windows, iCUE, or source apps could convince this headset to deliver a $200+ experience. I really wanted to love this headset but I just couldn't. I ended up returning this for Logitech's slightly less expensive G Pro X Wireless which has fewer features but sounds substantially better, with punchier bass, crisp highs, and an overall richer, lush sound.

||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Bluetooth (and Slipstream) headset. High quality sound and no latency while gaming. Very long range bluetooth and slipstream wireless connection, I can walk around my house. Very good battery life, approx 8-10 hours of constant gaming on full charge. RGB isn't all that flashy, but the light up logo is sleek and the overall look of the headset is very classy and classic looking. Great construction and adjustability. Very comfortable headband padding. Onlt major con - the ear cushions. They're soft and would be very comfy...but they're too small and shallow for my normal sized ears. Good news is there are plenty of aftermarket cushions for these headsets and it's a very common complaint about them. I sometimes take this headset to the gym (without the mic plugged in) to listen to music on my phone. Works great fod that too. Overall, an expensive headset - yes, but worth the money in my opinion.

Phenomenal headset at the right price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1. I wear glasses and this headset is still comfortable. I can go 12hours a day wearing it on long gaming / study sessions. 2. The sound quality if phenomenal. Using the iCue software you can increase, the bass, set to FPS competition, clear chat, or movie theatre mode (which actually makes it sound like you're in a movie theatre!). 3. People complaining that sound is flat is because they bought it for console, and they will get limited functionality because you cannot adjust the equalizer settings on console. 4. If you buy it on sale, it will only be slightly over $200 which is a pretty solid price for a dolby atoms wireless gaming headset. Bonus features: Mic is detachable and has a mute button right under it with a mic light that turns red to let you know when it is muted. Bluetooth so you can be connected to your phone and the pc dongle at the same time (or also pc via Bluetooth if you prefer to go that route) with very low latency using slipstream technology. 3.5mm port for the audiophiles

Oversold Sound Quality
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.About the Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless XT The Wireless XT headphones are Corsair’s flagship high-fidelity gaming headsets. They boast twice the frequency range, connections through multiple wireless technologies, and compatibility with their iCue interface software. Features There are several features to list for the headset • Wired Mode – through USB or 3.5mm connections • Wireless Mode – through USB transmitter, enables Slipstream Wireless, 60 ft wireless range • Bluetooth Mode – direct connection from headset to device, 24-bit HD audio • Simultaneous Connect with Bluetooth and Slipstream • Lightweight Aluminum Construction • Frequency range from 20HZ to 40,000HZ • Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio • Detachable Microphone • Up to 15 hour usage time • RGB Lighting through Corsair’s iCue interface What It Did Well These are the things that I thought the headset got right. • The headphones look nice. Build quality seems pretty good. • Headband and ear pads are soft. • Connected easily through Bluetooth. • Having the removable microphone allows you to use these as a normal headphone set so you can use them for more than the computer or for a phone conversation. • The Dolby Atmos Spatial Sound is neat. It really does provide a more 3-dimensional sound than any other headphone that I have used. • These tie into the iCue interface which I have running currently; keyboard, mouse, headphone stand, and LS100 lights. What It Did Not Do Well These are the things that I thought were a miss. Unfortunately, this list is kind of long. • The first thing that I noticed was how bad the bass response was. These just didn’t have any low end umph (around 60HZ or below) when listening to music. I tried messing with the equalizer to make up for it, and it just made the headphones sound worse. • When listening to a game or movie, the headset sounded better on the low end, but had some distortion in the midrange. I used Dolby Atmos audio streams to test this. • The ear pieces did not fit me well. These are really large round ear pieces. It was hard to get them to fit without part of the circle being off of my head. I kept having to push them forward so that they would cover the ear. When they did not fit, my headphones could be heard by others and I could hear outside noises. • No sound cancellation. Seems like a high-end headset would offer some sort of noise cancellation feature. • Corsair claims twice the range of most headsets since theirs are designed to go up to 40kHZ, but the reality is the human ear can only up to a certain level, and that disappears with age. The reason other companies go to 20kHz is that it is usually around the top of the range for most people. • The buttons are a little clunky looking, but functional. • Wireless connection to computer was nowhere near as advertised. The headset was cutting out 5 feet from the USB transmitter. It completely went out at 20 feet. Transmission is advertised up to 60 feet. • The iCue interface requires an upgrade to the next version of iCue. This upgrade messed up my computer temporarily. I understand if it changes audio settings, but this was changing my video display… I got it to work after tinkering around and restarting a few times. The new version of iCue is not as easy to use in my opinion. • RGB lighting only consists of the 2 logos on the side. With the connection to the iCue interface, I think that this is a miss to not have more light/optional lights with the RGB control. I’m giving the Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless XT 3 stars. I was really looking forward to these arriving, but was immediately disappointed with the sound quality for music. The Dolby Atmos Spatial Sound is really cool, but the majority of what I will use it for will not be set up in that format. When you add in the iCue software issue and the headset cutting out it really lowers the value of these headphones. If Corsair could fix a few of these issues I think that it would help to place this product in completion with other higher-end headsets.

Good headsets, too expensive
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They are good headphones, with some shortcomings. The sound quality is usually good, but needs good equalizer settings to work well. It is comfortable, and appears to be durable too. The mic quality is pretty good. The main shortcoming is the price, which is too high. At sub $200 price, these would be very good, due to their versatility. They can connect bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless at the same time, and have good controls for both on the headset.

Great overall and feature rich
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality is great. Mic in reviews showed it had a great out of the box quality but it's a little quiet. Turning off the LEDs made it have a battery life long enough to not have to charge it most of the week. Only concern is the top strap leather that will likely deteriorate so I covered using a fabric protector. The mic isn't as easy to insert without having to take off the headset to see and properly align the Micro-B plug to the port but the simultaneous Bluetooth and wireless is great.

Amazingly functional and well-built, but...
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset is very well-built. All of the buttons and wheels feel high-quality, except the mic mute button on the actual mic is a little jiggly. The sound is great for a gaming headset, but doesn't compare to my Sennheiser PC38x. For wireless, it's probably the best overall for a wireless gaming headset that also has Bluetooth. Speaking of Bluetooth - it works great. Once paired with my phone, it would auto pair whenever I put the headset back on. I used Bluetooth via phone for discord and usb dongle to PC for all gaming audio. The independent volume wheel for USB dongle and buttons (volume up/down) work great for mixing game audio and chat audio as needed. The few issues that I have had with this headset are: 1) The usb range is VERY short. If you buy these and have any trouble with disconnects like I did, it's likely that the USB dongle is too far away or there is interference from other devices. TL:DR; move the dongle closer. 2) They aren't very comfortable. They are heavy and the round/shallow ear cups WILL cause discomfort if your ears don't fit. My ears are probably medium sized, they fit in the circle, but the headset has to be positioned just right so that my ears don't touch the sides inside the cup. No matter what I do, I can feel my ear touching the driver. Overall - it's a hard-sell at $269, when headsets like the JBL Quantum 800 exist. The JBL can be had for under $200 often - sound better, are WAY more comfortable, and also have Bluetooth (not as well implemented admittedly, but more than serviceable). The JBLs are also all plastic. If you want the highest quality materials, Dolby Atmos Certified, excellent Bluetooth implementation, pretty good wireless sound, and have dispensable income - these are the headsets for you.

Came from a Logitech G935..
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from a G935 expecting a sturdier headset with better sound. I had issues with the Logitech software... GHUB is very fickle sometimes.. I feel ICUE is a much better software package to manage components. (I also changed my Keyboard to Corsair K100 and love it) With that said, I did not like the sound of these out of the box... Too shrill .. I almost wanted to return them, but i played around with the curve in the included Dolby Atmos to bring out the bass.. and it sounds great now.. for music I have to change the settings though.. I think the G935 sounded better with music (louder and more bass, if you like that) I wish it had a little bit more volume. Construction is much better than the plastic G935.. It definitely feels sturdier.. Wireless Connection is great so far, with a voice cue when mic is on or off which I love.. One thing I miss is putting the mic up .. It's annoying to have to take the mic off when I don't want it vs just flipping it out of the way.. I wish the fit was tighter as I often find myself having to adjust it to prevent it from falling off if I'm walking around.

Best and most versatile headset on the market
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic audio quality and microphone quality. Best headset on the market. Has bluetooth to connect to anything with bluetooth support and when wired the audio quality is by far the best quality out there and also the regular wireless audio quality is the best on the market as well. Sleek minimalist design. Battery lasts for the better part of two days of heavy usage before needing a charge. Dolby Atmos makes any experience more theatrical. Also icue is the best audio software you can find.

Not cheap but you pay for a quality robust headset
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to start off saying that I'm a big fan of Corsair products. I have a mouse, keyboard, computer memory and now these headphones. I decided t6o buy this headset after my HyperX corded headset broke. I was looking for a well built headset that was cordless too. These were in stock and came recommended buy the sales consultant both online and in the store for the price point. They are not cheap but worth it. Setting up was surprisingly simply and the download software a breeze. You can also utilize the Dolby Atmos software but defeats any tweeking of the equalizer. I choose the Atmos software through Windows and it sounds terrific. The bass is not super deep but you could probably increase the settings if you use the Corsair Equalizer. Anyway, I play, for the most part, Modern Warfare Warzone and the sound is amazing. I keep taking off my headphones to ask if my wife was saying something because of all the background noises in the games. Your head is surrounded with the game. The microphone sticks away from your mouth and you can adjust it closer but this is a great microphone so keeping it about 2-3 inches away and you will be just fine. The USB-C connection is the same as most modern phones to charge the headset and does accept the rapid chargers too which is a plus. The headset has an automatic on/off when is senses movement. It turns off if left still in only a few minutes to save the battery. I get about 6 to 8 hours on a charge and the battery light turns red when battery is low but have never let it run totally out so the runout time could be longer. You can play with the headset totally out of charge and the power cable is plugged in... Even though it's not a cheap headset the construction is very robust and doesn't have flimsy materials either. Warning - if you have big ears that stick out a lot taht the ear cups are kind of shallow. Look for other models that have deep ear cups. If you are okay with the ear cups, I would suggest buying them. Ok course with Best Buy you can return them to the store for a full refund but make sure you know the return policy and how many days you have to return them. You can always got to YouTube for all the specifics so you can get to know other information too.

Stellar headset for multiple applications
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this less for gaming and more for calls and an all-in-one recording and monitoring solution, and it has met and surpassed all my expectations. Connectivity options are amazing, with four different ways to connect to your devices. Output sound is amazing, with one caveat: you MUST get the Dolby Atmos app and EQ appropriately. Piping sound straight from a PC with no Dolby EQ was a muddy, vague mess. With Dolby, it rivaled any other set of cans I’ve ever used. Microphone quality is superb, clear, and works well for purposes which is calls and voiceovers. Battery life is strong for a headset of this size, and should last you for an entire gaming session, assuming you have a healthy relationship with your games. Would recommend to anyone who wants the best all-around headset if money is no object.
