Customers admire the VIRTUOSO XT Wireless Gaming Headset for its sound quality, comfortable design, long battery life, and effective Bluetooth functionality. Some customers have noted the headset's weight and that the bass may not appeal to everyone. Others mention the wireless range could be better, the price is a bit high, and the associated software is not great. Overall, the positive features seem to outweigh the negative ones for most users.

I used the previous version of this headset and had to come back when my old one finally gave out. Sound quality is great, mic is unmatched, and the new bluetooth addition is fantastic. Only gripe is the reduced range with this model.

Excellent sound. Great battery life. Are a little heavy so wearing long periods of time starts to hurt my ears and head. Also the Bluetooth disconnects every once in a while and annoying to get to reconnect. Overall very happy with them.

I bought this less for gaming and more for calls and an all-in-one recording and monitoring solution, and it has met and surpassed all my expectations. Connectivity options are amazing, with four different ways to connect to your devices. Output sound is amazing, with one caveat: you MUST get the Dolby Atmos app and EQ appropriately. Piping sound straight from a PC with no Dolby EQ was a muddy, vague mess. With Dolby, it rivaled any other set of cans I’ve ever used. Microphone quality is superb, clear, and works well for purposes which is calls and voiceovers. Battery life is strong for a headset of this size, and should last you for an entire gaming session, assuming you have a healthy relationship with your games. Would recommend to anyone who wants the best all-around headset if money is no object.

Coming from a Arctis Steel Series Pro Wireless I've got to say I'm extremely happy with these. I had a bit of an issue playing some games with the Pro in hearing footsteps (or at least being able to use to locate where they were coming from). These helped out with that. The other complain I had for the Arctis was the comfort, I've got a big head and when gaming for more than a hour or two I'd start to get a bit of a dull tension pain near where the headband sat on my head, I've yet to have this with these, they are extremely comfortable to wear and as someone that usually doesn't wear a headset when gaming single player these might change that trend. The Microphone is detachable so you can also get away with using these as regular headphones and the RGB isn't excessive as with a lot of other gaming peripherals that would have people shy away from using them in other capacities. Sound quality when outside of gaming while watching shows / listening to music is good and the iCue software allows for updating your equalization settings. I tend to keep it on a base setting for gaming. I mostly used these wired so I cannot speak to battery life yet, but I've heard that being a bit of a weaker point around 12-15 hours. These are very expensive and depending on your use you may be better off going with a cheaper model (Corsair or otherwise) and I've seen the XT is similar to the SE which you can get cheaper among other headsets. If you're in the market for a premium gaming headset it's tough to fault going with the Virtuoso XT.

Overall as a guy who will buy any Corsair product these are one of the better Corsair headphones you can get. I have three Corsair headphones. The Corsair Void Elites which is the best bang for the buck i find. I also have the Corsair HS80's that i would throw in the trash for multiple hardware and software issues. These Virtuoso's being a slightly higher cost than either has good sound quality and great mic quality. The only main drawback i have is the range of this unit. If you walk outside the room you are in you will drop out. Most others including the HS80's have way better range. Overall the product in my head was worth the cost. But if you're like me and gotta pee alot. You gonna miss some jokes from your friends.

Super comfy, great volume, noise cancellation is great. Mic is superb. Definitely improved from the SE. Extra bluetooth feature is a plus! Only complaint would be the weight, they definitely are on the heavier side, so you feel them after an hours use. Other than that, this is a great headset for gaming and media consumption.

Audio is good. Atmos works well and is easy to configure. Mic is useable, close enough to my old ModMic that I don't miss anything. Battery life is long enough I've never run out. Comfort is good - ear cups do get a little warm after hours of use.

Okay, at first I honestly thought these headphones were really bad. Super bad bass, almost mono sounding, everything was kinda just on the same frequency. I had to mess with the EQ settings on ICUE and even that didn’t do the headset justice. What made this thing fantastic was having enabled the Dolby Spatial Audio. Boosted the bass, the games sounded insane (with the tweak of settings in EQ) so it then became a huge upgrade from my Turtle Beach Stealth. I like how you can use your phone via bluetooth on them while playing games on your PC, it makes madden so much more enjoyable. I recommend these to people who want to take the time to make these what they’re worth. If u just want a straight out of the box headset that sounds fantastic, this isn’t the one for you.

So far they’ve been great! Definitely the best gaming headset I’ve ever used! I love the Dolby Atmos! Games sound amazing on my pc and I can even connect it to watch movies on my Apple TV! 10/10! Very light and durable. Comfortable on the ears. I don’t really use the RGB feature which I’m sure saves a bit of battery life, but I’ve had no issues with it dying too quickly at all.

I was looking for a new headset as I was using a Razer product and I was extremely tired of the THQ software that would constantly stop working. I was back and forth between this and a Logitech G headset. I ultimately decided to go with this headset because a family member has this and their mic quality was always the best I had ever heard from a gaming headset. The sound quality is also top notch for a gaming headset. I like that the mic can be detached, the controls are all very easy to use, and I have had zero issues with the headset. The battery life is also top notch, and given that you can't turn this headset off (it goes to sleep), the battery life lasts a long time. Also it works in wired mode as well so you can always plug it in if you need some extra battery and want to play. The only complaint I have is that the top cushion on the headband could be better. For me it isn't as comfortable as some of the Logitech headsets. It digs into the top of my head a bit. It isn't so bad that it will cause a headache, but for me it lacks in comfort in that one spot. The ear cushions though are very comfy IMO. Overall this has been a great headset.

While not perfect, the virtuoso does impress. Has great build quality, audio quality, and microphone quality that should be expected from its premium price. I do have a couple issues. * Battery life could be improved. Battery easily drains to 0 over a long play session * Audio soundstage is a bit shallow. If you are coming from hifi headphones like me, expect to be underwhelmed with certain aspects of the sound. Overall this is the best wireless headset I have ever used. It is fairly comfortable, and actually has sound that doesn’t sound cheap and compressed. I look forward to trying out a future version that addresses some of my issues!

I bought these headphones replace some HyperX Cloud Flight that I use for video conference calls but seem to be dying. There were several EXTREMELY concerning items and some annoyances. Concern: * Plugged into USB through a dock, the sound quality glitched and became highly broken up. Had to unplug and re-plug. This was after a reboot after installation. I'm not living with that * Bluetooth lag is horrendous. After pairing, I tested bluetooth microphone lag, and it's appalling. Maybe as high as 300 ms (connected to a beefy windows machine) Because 2 of the 4 connection modes are basically either unusable or likely to be unusable, I'll be returning them quickly (already boxed back up). Annoyances: * [MAJOR] system audio stops on bluetooth when on a conference call with microphone enabled. THIS SHOULD BE DISCLOSED IN THE SPECS * Bluetooth is a separate set of functions and circuits. It has separate Bluetooth volume button from the volume dial for non-bluetooth * Fits VERY loosely. I have a medium size that tends towards small. These did not really seal very well against my head and ears * Microphone LED can't be turned off in Bluetooth mode (you can turn off the LED if the microphone is not on mute) * Microphone LED shows up front facing in all modes. It would be far better if it were only rear (wearer) facing * Microphone mute button is tiny - I can't imagine trying to hit it accurately to mute an oncoming cough * Why didn't they make the slipstream dongle a usb-c connection? I might well have kept them, if so * Suprisingly heavy. I didn't compare weight to any other headsets and might should have. I think this could get super annoying after my common 6 - 8 hours of video conference calls a day Redeeming qualities: * Decent sound quality for the small amount of time I used it. Better than the Cloud Flight. Not as good as Sony MDR-7506 or WH-1000XM3. Better than AirPods gen 3. * Look decent, though bulky, for gamer headphones * Microphone IS good quality and detachable * Better wireless range than the Cloud Flight Shortcomings I knew going in * No gesture controls * At this price, should come with a hard case and not a soft case The Bluetooth functionality was SO disappointing I didn't bother trying to test multi-point connection across a Windows laptop and iPhone

I’ve had the headset for about 6 months now and I’ve been enjoying it a lot. It’s comfortable, even with glasses, and doesn’t get hot and it feels premium. My only issue is that I lose connection often walking around outside my room, and the sound out of box but now sounds great after messing around with it.

Not as high quality as my previous Astro A40s, but still are good headphones. The headset feels nice to wear and the mic is decent enough quality. The battery life is a bit low and having to consistently charge it with a wire was a bit annoying. connecting to your PC is very easy and straight forward. The sound quality is very good and the ear pieces completely cover your ears so they are comfortable to wear. I would recommend buying them any time they are on sale.

Pros - •Metal frame •Light weight •Very comfortable •Detachable mic •Microphone sound quality is very clean and clear •The charging cord and port are engineered well and are an obvious upgrade from their cheaper line up. Cons - •Sound quality. The quality you get is good but it is comparable to Corsair's Void headset which is only a third of the price. •Battery life. Overall the Virtuoso is worth it if you are looking for comfort and build quality. The price point is worth not having to replace it after a year of use.

The default sound for this headset isn't great but once you adjust the equalizer for it, it sounds fantastic. Both the sound quality and accuracy are great as is the mic. I do wish the mic had a better side tone with it as I can barely hear myself. It also has a decent battery and lives up to the estimate in the specs. The problems with this headset outweigh it though which is why I have it an average rating. First is that is very uncomfortable on the head strap. I could only wear it for about an hour before it started hurting my head. The ear cushions weren't bad but I did end up replacing those with some aftermarket ones which held up well. Finally, the headset would cut out CONSTANTLY. Within a 10 minutes period, it would happen several times. I tried plugging in to a different USB, eliminating anything that might interfere with it, and even moving the adapter closer. Nothing would fix it.

      Hello,

Sorry to hear about the cutting in/out, that shouldn't be happening whatsoever. As far as the comfortability after an hour, remember that to avoid fatigue you'd want to rest about 10 minutes every hour. If there's anything our team can help with or clarify, please contact them directly right on our site at any time.

Definitely worth the price on sale price. Sound quality is really good, bass is nice, dolby sound could be better. You will need install icue and adjust the settings in eq. Out of the box the spound is ok so make sure you go into the sound settings adjust the quality of sound and let app take over the settings.*no spartal sound* mic is excellent no adjustment needed. Battery life ok, it does last for about 12 hours, unless you play more than 12 hours your good. If you do then you have more issues to worry about. Cosair lights are nice you can make them flash, and change colors. Here is the best part you can listen to 3 devices at once. 1 using usb, 2 using the audio jack, and 3 using Bluetooth all at the same time.

I bought these for work. I was going to request a reimbursement but I liked them too much. NO WAY would I give these to my employer. I lost my job later on so I was happy I got to keep these. They are very solid quality and they make a great pair of backup headphones. The battery could do with some work but it's a nice headset. The boom is easily detachable and this thing is honestly very hard to scratch up. It's durable and solid. I like the RGB lights but be warned that they don't work until you install the software on your PC. You don't need them for it to operate though. Purely looks. It has great sound for a gaming headset and I have a feeling it's going to last a long time. Pricey? Yep it sure is but worth every dollar!!
