Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the superb sound quality and comfortable design of the VIRTUOSO XT Wireless Gaming Headset, along with its convenient Bluetooth functionality and long battery life. However, some users mention the headset's weight and that the bass response may not appeal to everyone. A few also point out limitations in wireless range and suggest the price point could be lower, while others note some software issues.

I'm very much enjoying this headset. I'm used to buying the HS35's on repeat cause they were cheap and worked, but they broke very regularly. The Virtuoso XT's feel so much better. Nice and sturdy. Great Mic audio. The sound quality for me is really good, while it is a bit bass heavy, most of the music I listen to has a lot of bass anyway. It just let's me keep my equalizer on a more balanced setting instead of upping base and reducing sound quality. The sound quality is so much higher than anything else I've owned; I can actually hear the different instruments as opposed to it sounding like you just overlaid a bunch of different sound files and sounding kind of flat. My main issue is the battery and charging. The battery has lasted at best about 6 hours of use, and charging it is not a good experience. The type-C port is really loose and doesn't seem to click into place like a Type-C port is supposed to. Trying to use it while charging, and I get repeated notifications that it's charging and the cable keeps falling out. Looking at a bunch of reviews, I seem to be an outlier. I do plan on exchanging them on my next day off and hope I just got a faulty set. I do have the LED's set to a slow pulse to reduce battery use, but it's just not lasting. It's also a pain that I can't just have them plugged in via the 3.5mm cable and them work. I am having to charge them either way which really stinks. Makes the 3.5mm seem kind of useless on PC.

Definitely worth the price on sale price. Sound quality is really good, bass is nice, dolby sound could be better. You will need install icue and adjust the settings in eq. Out of the box the spound is ok so make sure you go into the sound settings adjust the quality of sound and let app take over the settings.*no spartal sound* mic is excellent no adjustment needed. Battery life ok, it does last for about 12 hours, unless you play more than 12 hours your good. If you do then you have more issues to worry about. Cosair lights are nice you can make them flash, and change colors. Here is the best part you can listen to 3 devices at once. 1 using usb, 2 using the audio jack, and 3 using Bluetooth all at the same time.

Only downside of these headphone is that they are extremely heavy. Other than that they are amazing. The audio is fantastic and the durability is amazing with it made of metal.

Very comfortable and good sound although I am not a professional sound critic. I've had some problems with connecting these to my computer via bluetooth. It is probably the computer's fault, but about 10% of the time, they don't want to connect. I'm also perplexed by the volume knob. Mine keeps just spinning and doesn't seem to affect the volume. Again it could be the computer not the headphones. When I get everything worked out, I will hopefully update the ranking.

Sound quality and mic is great ok. Doesn’t handle bass like a good pair of Sony or Soul headphones but you can’t really expect it all in one product when this one already has so much. Can game and connect to iPhone at the same time. But only to hear notifications and music from the phone. When you try to answer a call the mic doesn’t work with the phone. Also in ICue, it will show 2 sets of the same headsets when the dongle is plugged in and you can’t tell which it wired or wireless. There is lower sound quality with wireless and is noticeable, but it’s that way with all wireless headsets. It’s just nature of the beast.

If you thinking about these just stop. Got them after my GSP670s failed after 2 weeks. And I have loved them ever since. They are pricey but have great sound and all day battery. Better sound than the attics pro wireless but less range. But if you sitting at your computer, it’s not a problem.

I've owned quite a few different gaming headsets in my day. From Xbox, turtle beaches, Asus. But these are the longest lasting, nicest sounding pair I've ever owned. The first pair o owned later from 2019 to 2024, and immediately I went to get the exact same pair.

Build quality is great and the headset itself is great - Bluetooth feature is great to play on one platform and connect to your phone or other thing to listen to music or something. Lacks in bass a bit though.

The sound is amazing on this. Issue I had with others, no feeling to the sound. This one, it adds nice tones to hear everything. The mic does well. It was weird when I moved it, it sounded like it was cracking a chem light. Bit unnerving. The metal feel when it rubs against each other, gives me the feeling of scratching a chalk board. Corsair really adds a premium feel to the it. The software, has some work. It's doesn't have a good equalizer. I did have a moment the sound came in crackling. Everything had a static sound to it. I had to remove and add the USB dongle to clear it up. Took a moment, I was thinking it was the source I had going.

Replaced my old Corsair Headset that had served me well. Good sound, comfortable to wear, the noise cancelling is excellent, can't hear my mom when she wants my attention (which is not good sometimes as she has to tap me on the shoulder).......very pleased with purchase which was easy to purchase and pick up at the store because I needed it quick.

You have to play with EQ settings to get decent quality sound. Sound is pretty immersive when gaming and they are pretty loud if you play with EQ settings but not as loud as other options as the SS Artic Nova Pro o Maxwell Audeze. If you intend on buying these for music go for more expensive options. Other than that i have no complaints. Really good design and aesthetics. Really comfortable for long play sessions.

I have a small head and these fit great around my ears and are adjustable. The mic is detachable which is nice, because it's very annoying to try and eat around the mic. I unplug my mic a lot and because of that I think the connection port will be an issue in the future. The audio is great for me but my friends say it's difficult to hear me even with a mic boost all the way up. I wouldn't buy this headset again but it is comfortable.

Time will tell about durability, but construction wise they are very solid which was a selling point for me. I like all the features, but do wish you could use them via slipstream AND bluetooth at the same time so I could take call on my cell phone. The xbox wireless headphones have this feature. Another bonus that I was not aware of at the time is the slipstream receiver will allow you to connect other compatible devices like mice to it. However, the receiver is NOT RGB, seems like an oversight given the iCUE selling point.

I am enjoying these headphones. The battery life is great and they are comfortable. The only thing that I don’t like is they don’t have the range on them like it states. My desk is centralized in the dinning room with the kitchen and living room on each side. On the other side of the kitchen we have a very small back porch with the door. I can’t walk to the back door without them disconnecting. It may be interference with the walls. Besides that flaw I enjoy them. I do t use the the microphone since I have a Yeti X. I would recommend these headphones.

Full disclosure, I am a Corsair fanboy and also own a lot of actual stock in the company so it pains me to have to give a 2 star review on their flagship headset. I am just overall disappointed that the cons out weight the pros by a significant margin for me. I hope that this is not the case for the majority of others but unfortunately is my experience. PROS: -Build quality is there -Aesthetically pleasing -Mic design is nice -Headset can be connected via Bluetooth, dongle, aux, or usb to microusb. -Comes with 2 year subscription to Dolby Atmos (some may consider this a con I guess, I don’t) -Can connect to two devices at once (one wired, one wireless). It’s unnecessary but cool if you’re into that sort of thing -Comes with a nice fabric bag. CONS: -Heaviest Headset I’ve ever owned -Sound Quality is not on par with the price point. -A LOT of static, even with the mic completely disconnected and the headset connected wirelessly and/or wired. - Circular design/ ear pad design is not comfortable if your ears are any larger than small. On my ears (which are not huge, but apparently not small enough for the Virtuoso) the ear pads don’t seal well, even if I stuff my ears in. - They don’t stay on my head if I have to bend forward more than 45 degrees (probably has to do with the weight/poor fitting ear pads) -iCue software is trash after the latest update. Having trouble with all my peripherals.

The ear cup plastic tab will break, it's not ideal, but you can order a replacement on ebay for <$20. My dog knocked it off my desk & broke the boom mic, so I had to get a replacement. In the interim, I purchased a logitceh Pro X2 which is "comparable." It isn't. The feature I loved that I didn't expect? The ability to connect to my cell phone via Bluetooth while still being connected to the computer, so I can play a game & listen to music on my phone, take a call, whatever. It may seem like a weird thing to love, to miss, but once you use it a bit, jamming out to some 80's rock while flying virtually, you'll understand.
