Seems like I had to return this item more than three times for it breaking on us so I won't buy this particular headset again I will change to a different brand and hope it doesn't break as easily as the corsair. It just always seem to never connect and the USB seem to always come apart and break easier then others

      Sorry to hear, Mitchell,

There may be quite a bit of interference in your specific situation and that'd cause the problems you describe. As for the USB coming apart that shouldn't happen as it'd only connect once and not be touched again. We apologize for all the problems. It has everything, sound, comfort, microphone (decent), battery life. The only thing I do not like is that you can only use it with your USB, nothing bluetooth. NOTE: put a guarantee, the microphone breaks easily

The Corsair Void Pro Wireless is a good headset for most users. Pros: Excellent build quality, battery life, voice clarity, and very comfortable especially for long hours of gaming. Cons: Poor range on the USB transmitter. I originally had it plugged in behind the case that sits on my desk (out of sight out of mind), however, it kept saying "Mic off" "Mic on" as well as occasional static and cutout of sound. After relocating the stick to my keyboard passthrough all issues resolved. Secondly, the sound is not great and is only controlled by the USB (No link to motherboard sound or sound card). Sound quality is okay for gaming, not a lot of bass, flat sounding on the highs; not recommended for music listening, gaming only. Knowing this I still think it's a good headset and will be keeping it.

sound so clear than my regular headphone and I can talk on microphone without any background noise. we almost bought the black headset with same spec. but the price is higher and I notice that my yellow have the extra dock for usb, that is better deal than the white headset. love it especially the incredible sale price from bestbuy.

    Broke 2 days after purchase!

I made my purchase two days ago, and was initially satisfied with the product. The sound and microphone quality of the headset itself is great, and the product feels sturdy in the hand. It is comfortable to wear for extended periods of time, and is actually compatible with Mac, which I was surprised about. But just today, the USB wireless adapter I use to connect the headset to my laptop broke. As in, the USB mount FELL OFF. @@@@@@@@ See attached photo). Upon further examination of the adapter, it appears to be made VERY cheaply compared to the headset, which seems ill-fitting of such a good auditory experience. I plan to return the product to the store today and try a second one to see if this is just a fluke, as I've seen many good reviews of this product before. But based on my current time with it, don't waste your money. Would have been a better product if it provided a bluetooth connection option.

Good but not intended for laptops

All in all it's a great headset, nice controll setup for personalizing it in a non guady or blinding way. Very comfortable and easy to use and wear for long periods of time. Voice sounds a bit muffled while wearing but no real issue there. My biggest issue with it's that it requires you to plug in a USB wireless broadcaster to your PC for it to use the headset. Obviously no big deal for desktop users, just plug it in the back and good to go. I personally use my laptop alot and move it around so plugging in a pretty decent sized USB every time want to use it's a bit frustrating, especially if you lose it. Corsair says they'll replace it if lost or broken but that can still take a good bit of time to send it out. Basically if I had known needed the USB plugged in might've just gone with wired version or something else. Hopefully can find out a way to transmit the data from drive to laptop with something less intrusive size wise.

The selling point for these is absolutely comfort. This is an absolutely perfect product for a store like Best Buy where you can go in and try on a bunch of different headsets, as this pair will stand out to you positively when you do that. And comfort is very important, so nailing this is huge. But once you get past that... it's rough. @@@@@ Audio quality feels only okay, not great, and does seem to suffer from being wireless * The software doesn't help much at all and this often means finagling blindly with Windows 10's more arcane Sound Properties menus, trying to set the highest quality the headset will accept * You only get about 4-6 hours of battery life without charging * Charging and using the headphones at the same time requires two USB-A ports * The headset cannot work directly over USB, it's all wireless audio all the time * There is no Bluetooth, 3.5mm, etc.. . support to enable the headset to work with other devices That last couple of bullets are what really tank this headset for me. I could deal with less-than-stellar audio quality if the headset were more flexible with its connectivity because the headset is so comfortable to wear that I would love to use it as a generalist headset on-the-go which just so happens to be able to work for PC gaming as well. In that case, I would be strongly tempted to get a better headset as my primary for PC gaming, and to use this for most other activities (and PC gaming on the occasion where it's just more convenient because it's already out or whatever). I could not even get this to do audio + charging while using a Surface Pro 2017 because doing so gobbled all USB connectivity so even trying to use a USB 3.1 4:1 breakout cable, connecting the wireless dongle and power nixed anything else working, and I like using a USB mouse with the Surface Pro when possible, so that's a bit of a dealbreaker. But Corsair's connectivity choices have shoehorned this headset into being a PC gaming headset and not much else, and unfortunately that's the scenario in which I'm more willing to trade comfort for performance.

I'm posting this review after only a week of use. If something changes, I'll revise it accordingly. I had a Logitech G35 wired headset that I loved, aside from the fact it was wired. Lo and behold one clumsy action ripped the headset out and broke the USB connection. Which is a shame because I loved that headset. The wireless version didn't have great reviews so I looked at other options and decided to give this one a try. Pros: - Fits well, fully adjustable. - Love the lights, and they're customizable! - Mic lifts up which auto-mutes it - Has Volume control on the bottom of the left earpiece - I can now get up and walk to grab a drink without having to take my headset off. - Zero drop in call quality. NOTE: I have not tried going more than ~15 feet from the USB receiver as I currently live in a condo. I'll be testing this longer range after I move. - Very snug fit over the ears, which blocks out a lot of sound even when your game / music volume is low. I'm considering it a pro even though it means my girlfriend has to throw something at me to get my attention now. Cons: - I loved being able to pause/play music on the G35, I wish this headset had that. - I now occasionally get stuff thrown at me. See last pro listed above.

My previous headset were corsair also. A much older version, outdated. The USB dongle/wireless plugin was problematic, often dropping signal and cutting out. This new headset however performs near 100% perfectly. It is very comfortable and i've worn it for hours at a time with/without voice chat on Discord for gaming sessions. Sound quality, mic quality seems right on track. The software/drivers seem to function quite well. The software you can install will allow you to customize RGB settings, surround sound settings, equalizer, bass etc. Quality, comfort are 5 stars for construction, length of time wearing, they don't feel flimsy or like they'll break easily. Many reviewers complained of overheating on their ears with the RGB lights on. I noticed no difference with or without them, no extreme heat or discomfort. Sound quality. Overall excellent. I never use the 7.1 settings, I tried them out with movies, games, music etc and it just sounds weird and not like surround sound, but in my experience all headphones sound weird with surround sound. Using them without surround sound they are quality, the volume levels are surprisingly low. At max volume they are not as loud as most other headphones i've used. . not that we really need them at max, but just a comparison/thought. i've not used many gaming headsets and cannot compare to razors, or other brands. I recommend picking these up on sale if possible. Give them a few days to adjust to the sound differences. I went from 5.1 to 7.1 and everything sounded different, took tweaking of equalizer etc to get it where I like. Get on sale, not quite 5 star product. Volume could be louder but not a deal breaker. The bass is great imo. One of the best things i've found with these are listening to binaural audio tracks. Smarter Every Day space x binaural video on youtube is a great example. These headphones are beautiful for this if make it sound like you are truly there watching a live space launch.
