This headset does not work with ps4. You can talk back and forth but can not adjust volume levels without plugging into a PC...

That'd be a limitation of the headset on the PS4, unfortunately, but besides changing settings within the interface then there's unfortunately no other pointers for us to give. If you have problems with this headset on a Windows-PC please let us know at support.corsair.com CorsairGaming

Great headset with good distance away from the adaptor. Does not work with Xbox one at all unless you stream the Xbox one to your pc to make them work.

Product is pretty cheap and compatibility is not as good as hoped. Also I purchased on sale but it always seems to be the price I paid. Spend 30-40 extra and do yourself a favor and buy something better.

They sounded great in the store demo, but I got them home and couldn't get them to work with my Xbox One X nor my phone via its bluetooth. PLUS the CUE program to change the audio settings and quality wouldn't open on my Windows 10 computer. They worked ok in stereo on my pc, but I'm not a pc player, I'm a Console Gamer and they are missing a HUGE market Niche. I returned them...

We purchased this headset for my son. He does online pc gaming and was using Turtle Beach 420+ split between the XBox and the PC. The compatibility isn't great so we got these exclusively for the pc. He loves them and says the audio quality is better then the turtle beach. He also likes the ability to customize the color and light pattern of the LEDs on the earpieces.

I bought this because I wanted a wireless headset. It's got good sound quality. It didn't feel quite like it was emulating surround sound that well, and the mic quality, while clear, left a bit to be desired. Be clear that this is NOT bluetooth. It comes with a wireless dongle you need plugged into whatever you're using. Will not work with phones.

Straight to the point: Pros: -Great distance for the Bluetooth wireless dongle. -Nice customization options for the limited RGB lights (requires Corsair Utility Engine (CUE)) -Amazing surrounding sound 7.1, almost noise canceling. a -Great mic quality Cons: -Required CUE which has been buggy (not headset fault) -Too few RGB Led lights, Wish there were more. -Fairly large and not great for tiny heads. Summary: I have two of these headsets for my multiple gaming rigs and I absolutely love them. I think that these are some of the best wireless headsets on the market. I have been having some compatibility issues with the dongle and the Corsair TS100 RGB stand, but it may be an isolated incident as I can't find any related issues online. I may replace the stand and try again.

Out of the box I was impressed with the build quality. The metal hinges and memory foam were nice to see. Upon listening to music I noticed a bit of clicking or peaking in the drivers. While they were loud and clear the clicking was too much to handle. They are NOT compatible with Dolby Atmos for Headphones on PC. They simply convert 8 Channel audio into Binaural stereo. The option to hear your mic's feedback so that you do not yell only works right after you set it. Exit the software or mute the mic, and it stops working. Overall not a terrible product. Would pay $40 for them with these issues.

    Not for PS4

So I want to start off by saying that I think this is a great headset... for the PC. If you're intending to get these for the PC, for the price and the sound/mic quality you cannot go wrong and these would warrant a 5 star review. However, if you're looking to buy these for the PS4, THEN STAY AWAY!! This headset work with the PS4, but it's missing a lot of the features that most people look for in a PS4 gaming headset. Let's start with the PROS for PS4: 1. Easy to set up - you just plug in the usb adapter, turn the headset on and you're ready to go. 2. Quality wise, these is a good headset (exception noted in the CONS). The outside of the ear pieces have metal on them. The cushion for your head and ears are both very comfortable and I wore them for 8 hours with some intermittent breaks and I actually kind of forgot I was wearing them. 3. I tried them out on my laptop and the sound quality on a PC is great, especially for the price tag. I didn't test out the Dolby 7.1 surround sound, but I'd give the regular audio quality on my laptop an 8/10. Now onto the CONS: 1. Is not very compatible with PS4 sound card - while the headset works and will give you sound and you'll be able to speak, due to the lack of compatibility with the PS4's sound card the innate volume of the sound coming out of the headphones is very low. 2. Lack of control functionality for the PS4 - unfortunately, if you were planning on using these on the PS4 the volume control on the headset doesn't work to increase or decrease the volume. To me this was a bit of a pain because of how quiet the sound already is due to what I stated above and I didn't feel immersed in my game the way I'd have liked to be. Also, none of the presets work on the PS4; these only work on the PC as well. 3. In addition to the volume control not working on the PS4, the overall feel of the volume knob feels cheap. There would be times while using it on my laptop that I'd try to adjust the volume and it would feel like it would click, but the volume would never adjust so I'd have to try usually 2 to 3 times (especially when turning the volume down) to get it to work properly. So in summary, I am not hating on these headset by any means. I think this would make a great, budget friendly PC headset. My main intention on writing this review was for anyone considering using it on the PS4 (as I found very little to go on review wise about it). While you can still use the headset, just be aware that the volume will be low, especially when compared to PS4 compatible headsets, and you'll not be able to adjust it.
