As a disclaimer, I got this on sale $20 off; it goes on sale pretty often. In a market where wireless headsets go for $100+, this headset is the cheapest I’ve seen from a trusted brand like Corsair. As for the experience, it uses a 2.4 GHz USB receiver for audio. The receiver is a full size stick unlike the stubs Logitech devices have which is a gripe of mine, but it’s not a huge dealbreaker. The sound quality is nice and crisp. For a headset of this price you won’t be getting premium sound; the bass is a little underwhelming. You can adjust the sound profiles on the Corsair software which is pretty convenient to get a sound that’s more to your liking. With some tweaking, you can get quality sound out of it.
It also has a ton of quality of life features that make this such a convenient headset to have and carry around with you. The earcups swivel sideways for easy storage, and help if you put your headset down on your neck. The mic mutes when you flip it up which is quick and easy, easier for me than to fish around for the mute button which is a little hard to differentiate. I also have absolutely no sound echo into the mic which I had happen a lot with my old turtle beach headset which is very nice. The battery life is also pretty decent. It’s rated at 16 hours, and that decreases when you turn on RGB which I don’t really use but is bright and cool. It doesn’t sound like much, but I don’t use my headset all day and every day and it can last me a week until I have to plug it in. It uses microUSB to charge which sucks, but you can just plug the cable into your PC and let it charge, although the headset only works wireless so the cable doesn’t transfer any sound.
Overall, this is a budget wireless headset but it is solid and if you’re still on a wired headset and don’t want to break the bank this is a great choice and once you switch it feels completely liberating.

Headphones work perfectly and are very comfortable. The uSB dongle is pretty big, but it works perfectly fine. The microphone was a little bit of a hassle to get working correctly. But now that I was able to get it working perfectly. Love the durability and comfort of the headset. I was able to get these headphones for around $50 out of pocket, thanks to a GC that was giving to me.

I first like to start out and state that I am no audiophile, I simply want a headset so I can play some PC games with my friends and enjoy some great sound while also remaining comfortable throughout my session. I'll preface by saying that I owned the Corsair void Elite 2020 Edition before I bought these and I really liked that headset simply because it was very comfortable. Sound aside I rate Comfort higher, and unfortunately this upgrade isn't as comfortable as its predecessor. The cups do not feel like cooling memory foam like the old one had, but the audio sounds great. And the mic from what I hear also is pretty good. I would have given it All Stars if it was a proper upgrade but the comfortability just wasn't there for me.

Overall great product that delivers high quality audio and voice performance. Your dollar will go further with this headset, which cannot be said for more premium brands.
1 star removed for less than desirable battery life, and at certain vocal frequencies the left ear rattles almost as if a component is loose. Lastly, the connection distance is less than advertised.
Corsair still maintains my trust after a decade.

The headset is nice fit for my average-sized head and has great features from the iCue Corsair software (which I have my gripes with, but this review is about the hardware, not the software). I have had it for a week and have had no problems with this on my head for 16 hours at a time. The battery life is what you expect, runs for about 16-20 hours on a full charge, but I would recommend turning RGB off to save some battery life (I don’t really care about the RGB feature). One HUGE POINT I would like to make is you’d need to keep iCue running to use whatever profile you had set up. If you quit iCue application, the headset ignores your profile changes, and switches to full brightness RGB mode, which wastes battery life a lot. Other than that, the fit is nice and snug, my ears don’t hurt after long use, music and sound is perfectly fine for average user like me, and battery life is what I expected.

Great pair of gaming headphones for the price. Also have the receiver far away from the headphones and it still picks up crystal clear. 10/10 recommend

Great headset for the price and features it has with it, very comfy and durable fit. The rgb being able to be set and adjusted easy with icue software as well made it feel and look amazing. only reason i cant give it a 5 star is because with PS5 the volume adjustments are not very wide, i was finding my self some times not being able to hear certain sounds loud enough. But overall a great fit for some corsair flavor to your system.

Great sounding headphones. Bought these to play escape from tarkov, while I still suck at the game at least I can hear the direction I’m going to die in now! *****note! When you get them install the software go into device settings and turn off the auto shutoff settings this will save users a lot of frustration! Also turning off the rgb lights increases the battery life by nearly double!

I've been looking for headphones with the right amount of bass in them as well as making sure my friends can hear me while I speak. Thankfully, these headphones have both. They have a different way of connecting to devices compared to other gaming headsets, but once you finish setting it up, it's a premium quality headset.

I bought these headset for my 9 year old son. I was impress with how comfortable they are no matter if you are a kid or an adult. The sound and voice quality were great. I like how the headset light up and how you can manage the headset using the corsair software. I didn't like the USB wireless receiver it was bulky. I was expecting to be able to sync it with my computer via Bluetooth or a small USB.
Pros: Grate voice and sound, ease of use, and RGB functionality
Con: Don't like the wireless receiver and how bulky it is.

Always had wired headsets. This is my first wireless set, and they are fantastic. Response time is on point, mic works great. Very comfortable and not too heavy. Holds a charge well. Great for footsteps and everything in between. Can’t say enough good things about this headset.

Great pair of headphones. I love the fact that the mic is able to go up and down, rather than trying to push or pull it one way or the other. I did have some issues with static but overall, this has been a great headset. I recommend downloading iCue because it will help with coding the colors for the RBG. Great for gaming and schoolwork.

Honestly I had my doubts about this product but it’s QUALITY straight out of the box!!! iCue software can adjust the settings pretty easily for you and the sound quality is pretty amazing. Only thing is the battery dies when you have the RGB lights on but you can turn them off in iCue.

For the PC portion of usage, it’s a solid 4 stars. The audio is great and the latency is unnoticeable. Battery life is awesome, I get roughly 6hr nonstop with lighting and about 80% volume. The only downside to this headset is that it begins to hurt my ears after about an hour of usage. I find myself taking it off to let my ears relax too often, a problem that wasn’t present with my Arctis5 Steelseries headset.
So why is it 3 stars?
Well, this headset become almost unusable on PS4 consoles. I’ve yet to use it on a PS5 or XBOX because I don’t own any, but I’m positive the experience is the same. The volume is crippled on consoles. Mic quality is good, but what’s the point if you have to choose between hearing the game or your buddies.
Overall, get it on sale for if you intend to use it only on PC. Other than that, maybe think about getting an Arctis headset.
