With so many monitors on the market and an abundance of different features sometimes it can be hard to pick the best one. Corsair in my opinion has continued to bring out leading edge technology when it comes to gaming. This monitor is a great gaming monitor and comes highly recommended. I expected this monitor to be a lot larger than it was since it is a 27 in monitor. Physically it is about the same size as some older 24 in monitors I have and that is due to the ultra-thin bezels. They are practically nonexistent. Even the depth of the monitor is ultra-thin which in turn makes it ultra-light weight. The stand was very impressive to me. It allows you to lower the monitor up and down (quite a bit) and turn it to any angle you might need. The adjustments are also very simple and easy but the monitor stays wherever you leave it. If you prefer to mount your monitor it also has that capability. Corsair has included just about every cable you will need to use this monitor. This makes it very convenient to get started without having to try and determine which cable you need. Obviously, what most people want to know is how is the picture quality. The OLED QHD 2560 x 1440 screen is best in class. Images are crisp and clear. The best part of all is the 240ghz refresh rate which means that there is no noticeable lag when playing video games. My favorite types of games are first person shooters and racing games. I can confirm that playing those types of games on this monitor has been awesome. This is a high-end gaming monitor and if you want the best refresh rate and technology that a monitor can offer, I would highly recommend one or two of these. I also do a lot of video and photo editing and this is also a great option for that even If it is not the core function of what this was built for. The design of this monitor and the picture quality make me want to get a second one.

Amazing Monitor that falls short of perfect

The last couple of years there have been better and better gaming monitors, and we have some amazing monitors available now, but they aren’t without their faults. I would put this monitor in that category it’s amazing but it has a couple of flaws. Let me start with picture quality, the image looks amazing, the contrast give it such a great 3 dimensional image you really do feel the space between objects, and while not a super bright monitor and it has some trouble in a bright lit room in the middle of the day, it was never so bad it was unusable, the motion is great didn’t have any issues with ghosting, blur or latency with my pc or my consoles. You will find very little to argue about the picture quality but I have two gripes. The first in standard non hdr the picture tends be slightly over saturated towards red and adjusting settings is not the easiest thing to do on the the monitor, but the oddest thing to me was how miss less color the tv had when it would kick into hdr the lack of brightness and the dip in saturation is noticeable. Image still looked great but it was definitely something I noticed. Monitor works great with console was able to take advantage of the refresh rate and resolution on my series x with this monitor. I am little disappointed no speakers on the monitor even if they weren’t the greatest it would have been nice to have something even for consoles when plugged in. Overall I really like this monitor it looks great and works great. Everything I have thrown at it looks and plays beautifully on it. There are just some little things that keep it from being perfect

About 2 years ago I picked up my girst high end gaming monitor, an LG ultragear 4k 144hz monitor. Today I finally upgraded to OLED and man was I missing out. The deep blacks and vibrancy of the colors isnt even close to an ips panel. 240 hz OLED feels so crisp in my fps games! While they are some downsides to this monitor, I am very pleased with how far OLED gas come and I don’t mind being an early adopter of technology this cool! If you are concerned about the brightness everyone complains about it is really over exaggerated. While it could be bad if you had direct sunlighton the display, for my needs it is plenty bright and I actually had to turn it down to 80% so I dont get a headache!

Hardcore Gaming Monitor for Hardcore Players

There are monitors people get just to have something to see what is on your computer. If that is what you need, you probably should go with a different monitor. When it comes to the hardcore gamer who needs every advantage that can be had, this is where the Corsair Xeneon 27QHD240 Gaming Monitor comes in. This monitor is an absolute beast. But I’ll get to that in a moment. First impressions go a long way, and this monitor makes a great first impression coming out of the box. The space-age look and thin bezel are impressive even before powering it up. The monitor also comes with a stylish stand. If you wish to mount the monitor, it is VESA (100 x 100) compatible, so you can mount it with standard hardware (no extra mounts needed). You also get all the cables that you may need for your set up including a Display Port cable, HDMI cable, USB-C to USB-C cable, and a USB-A to USB-C cable. As far as inputs, you get 4 monitor inputs and 4 USB ports. I have more options than ever before. If you choose to go with the included stand, assembly is easy. The stand is also versatile to fit your needs. It has convenient slots to perform cable management and allows flexibility of viewing. You can tilt the screen (+15°/-7°) or pan it (+/- 30°). You can also rotate the screen +/- 90° for vertical or horizontal orientation. This is all great but ultimately you get the monitor for its performance, and wow, does this monitor deliver. The 27-inch size (16:9) isn’t the largest you will find, but it is plenty big enough to handle your gaming needs. The screen resolution is better than Full HD but not 4K either. The screen is 2560 x 1440 resolution though which comes in at 110 pixels per inch (PPI). After plugging everything up and powering on the monitor, the first thing that struck me was how bright the monitor is. The documentation says the peak brightness is 1000 NIT. I don't have anything to measure that, but based on my opinion, it seems correct. Each pixel is self-lit. This means darks are dark and lights are light even if side by side. After using the monitor for a while with first person shooter and racer games, I had a few other observations. First off, the screen refresh rate of 240 Hertz makes all the action on the screen smooth as butter. I had zero jitter even and high action areas. The other thing I noticed was that my eyes did not bother me after playing on this even during extended gaming sessions. The reduced low blue light helps reduce eye strain. I was very comfortable playing for long periods of time. A cool feature of this monitor is that it also allows for picture-in-picture. So, if you have two sources connected to the monitor, you can have both displayed at the same time. This is cool for gaming and perhaps having hey camera displayed at the same time. One question that may come up is can you use this with a PS5. While technically you could, I would recommend against it. This monitor is probably too powerful for that system. The graphics card just can use all the power this monitor has. You wouldn’t get the full performance. The rig I had with this was a Core i7 with an RTX 3060 GPU. This is probably the minimum I would recommend for this monitor. The reason I say this is the screen refresh rate is 240 Hz. Your input lag could be as low as 0.03 milliseconds. For high level gamers milliseconds are everything. Getting the jump on your opponent can mean everything on your KDR. In racing games, even 0.001 can be the difference in success and failure. You want those milliseconds. But just because your monitor can do that doesn't mean the GPU can handle that. Many games on PS5 are 60 Hz refresh. Even the best games are 120 fps. You don’t take advantage of the full refresh. Games at 60 Hz are even worse than that. Refresh will be at least 17 ms. The point is, other monitors will give similar performance. It won’t be the monitor’s fault. It will be a limitation of the gaming system. In the end, the monitor is truly amazing. The OLED is bright and clear. It is easy on the eyes. The thin bezel allows you to combine it with other monitors for a sleek look. The screen is nice and bright and game play is smooth like it should be. If you are a hardcore gamer, I highly recommend the Corsair Xeneon 27QHD240 Gaming Monitor.

Perfect monitor but not a dream monitor

Perfect monitor for PC gaming but keep this in mind, it's OLED, this is perfect for story based games. Competitive games on this monitor seems more like a gimmick to me. Still my most favorite monitor in terms of quality what I've been looking for.
