Customers highly value the XENEON 32QHD165 monitor's color accuracy, vibrancy, and brightness, with many praising its HDR capabilities. The monitor's build quality also receives significant praise. While some find the price to be high, the fast response time is another frequently cited positive aspect. Overall, the positive feedback on image quality and build outweighs concerns about cost.

I’m doing a review of CORSAIR XENEON 32QHD165
Panel size: 32-inch
Panel technology: IPS
Native resolution: 2560 x 1440
Aspect Ratio: 16:9
Refresh rate: 165Hz
Response time: 1ms MPRT
HDR: VESA DisplayHDR 400
Contrast: 1,000:1
Color: 98 percent DCI-P3
Brightness: 400 cd/m2
Inputs: DisplayPort 1.4 x1, HDMI 2.0 x2, USB Type-C with 15W charging
Other: AMD FreeSync Premium, G-Sync compatible
The Corsair XENEON is suppose to be a
Top-tier 1440p 165hz gaming monster with a $799.99 usd price tag
But does it deliver as advertise well no but it doesn’t make it hot garbage we’ll…
We’ll it does have a nice build Quality Rgbs would of been nice, but this monitor is an absolute beauty of a display and cable management is Second to none
If your a streamer and use Elgato products then you have the perfect monitor, but I don’t use elgato products as of yet and I’m reviewing it from a pure hearted gamers prospective
Not let’s get into HDR once you turn it on in windows
You’ve just enabled hot laggy garbage lol
with most of your osd setting grayed out and making this monitor unusable so the worse hdr performance I’ve ever seen, with can be a deal breaker for some
Now let’s talk about adaptive sync will
We’ll on the box it only supports free sync premium and the word on the street is that it’s g sync compatible, but In the osd free sync has to be enabled in order for Nvidia control panel to detect it, and if your looking to get the full 165hz in 1440p without your fps going all over the place and a crap load of visual tear I would recommend a 3080 or higher to be safe, VVR without g sync or free is a mess in war zone I couldn’t hit 165hz as I normally do and was alternating form 70 to 130 fps a very unpleasant experience so Gsync hardware would of throw this monitor over the top
With gysnc enabled I sustain a steady 165hz
The quantum that display is gorgeous 98% DCI-P3 400 nits of brightness Contrast: 1,000:1 at 32” inches
Great for contact creation and media and a decent job for gaming even with the lack of pixel density And decent speeds and performance with a delightful low input experience in shooters like Cold War and warzone
Final thoughts
To be honest it doesn’t do anything better then it’s
Competition except cable management
What it does good it does it on average to above average at best
Even though I’m a Corsair fan boy and want to like it, but it doesn’t fulfill my desire to have the greatest gaming monitor on the planet so my search will continue, but I’m not getting sponsored or paid to do this review by anyone i’m giving the most honest review as possible but I’m sure in the future Corsair will learn from their mistakes from the XENEON 32qhd165 and create a beasts that will dominate the market so listen to the people Corsair I’m sure you’ll do fine don’t be razor
Pros
Decent Motion clarity and performance
Excellent cable management
Excellent console mode input
Excellent SDR image quality
Excellent build quality
ICue Software OSD(easy to up grade firmware)
1ms MPRT
Cons
Terrible HDR
Price
Terrible G Sync Support
Not enough features
Mediocre pitcher settings
Could be faster
Lacking gamer osd

Perfect size for me. Colors look great. Will need to connect the type-c to the pc to adjust settings with icue. Didn’t notice any difference with hdr turned on or off. It was a pain in the butt to set up and connect the DP just due to angle and position on my table.

Fantastic color accuracy and brightness. Works flawlessly at 165hz. A total steal at $400 but a moderate disappointment at it's original MSRP.

I have been gaming on a 27" 4k monitor and after i switched to this monitor it did suffer a bit of image quality in games buuuuut now that my eyes have seen 32 inches, its like looking through a window!!!
Color accuracy and the vibrant colors are just amazing. it almost does look 4k, just so crip and clear
I tried using the 27 in after this and it felt like the world in games like Kingdom Come and Witcher 3 were mini models and trees.
Now I have the sense of scale I didn't have and will gladly suffer the small amount of image quality you lose from 4k to feel a better immersion
The first monitor I got had a stuck green pixel but thankfully Best Buy reordered it for me and i was able to get a new one. It did take like 2 weeks to get the new one though as its not carried in stores near me. first shipment was also lost by UPS. Totally worth the hassle though

To be frank, i got this at an unbelievable discount, so that will definitely skew my perception and impression of the product, had i bought it at msrp or slight discount. This is my gaming and work monitor. Unless you are a content creator, photographer or video editor, the color is already great out of the box. The response time (input device translating to motion on the screen) is decent, and if you are not a gamer, this tidbit is not crucial for you. The only thing that would make it better is for the panel type to be QLED and maybe, maybe, MAYBE a refresh rate higher than 144 hz. Most people don't benefit above 120 hz so don't go balls to the walls unless you have a graphics card that can push 144 frames at 1440p resolution. Gaming at 1080p on ANY 1440p panels do not look as great due to scaling.

Well was worried coming from a high end 27” 1440p monitor that the size would be to big. My fears were put to rest after setup and picking my preferences. Let me tell you this monitor is bright!!! I mean super bright. I have 4k 65” tvs from sony and I buy highend so you definitely gotta tone this beast down a lil.
Pixel density is perfect and colors pop. I must have won the panel lottery no ips glow or anything like that. Im sitting a lil less than 24” from it on a desk. Im a pc gamer only so no console reviews here. Im so blown away by Corsairs first attempt and love it.
If you are wondering if 32” at 1440p is to big don’t.
I can contest to 32” 1080p sucks and 4k would look even better but Im using a 12600k and rtx 3080 and in my opinion, im in the sweet spot.
Buy it dont think about it.
It is expensive but so is everything else these days.

The build quality on this monitor is fantastic along with the color reproduction! Wait for it to go on sale, as 700 is a bit too much for this. Definitely not on par with something like the Odyssey 7.

For the price I payed I am happy with the graphics and how fast this monitor is. The only thing that was off was mounting to a freestanding system, as I am using it for racing platform. They have directions for the stand set up but nothing for any other set up.

Big bright monitor, love the cable routing! The HDR works pretty good but not great. The USB-C cable tends to sit kind of loose and disconnects if it moves slightly. But other than that, monitor works as expected!

Got this monitor for a great deal and was having good luck with no dead pixels until 2 weeks in 2 came up out of no where. I then replaced with Best Buy which then got another one but unfortunately this time 2 are there but only looking at certain scenes/colors. Will be returning and going with an LG instead but if it wasn't for the dead pixels I would of kept it so that's why I am giving it a 3/5

NOTICES:
DEVICE ARRIVES IN A BOX ADVERTISING EXACTLY WHAT IT IS. BEWARE IF YOU HAVE PORCH PIRATES.
YOU MUST CONNECT THE INCLUDED USB-C TO THE MONITOR AND COMPUTER FOR THE DISPLAY TO SHOW UP IN ICUE CORSAIR SOFTWARE.
THERE IS A SEPERATE POWER BUTTON ABOVE THE OSD CONTROLLER ON THE BACK OF THE MONITOR.
Monitor otherwise arrived safely; all features functioning as advertised.
I'd recommend this product specifically to people who are already deep into the Corsair ecosystem. Not that it's bad for those who are not; but it does have some specific features that are nice for those who are.
Only complaint I have is 1440p at 32" can be a bit fuzzy in certain use cases.
Otherwise, I think it's great! Same brightness as my previous display; but going from a TN Panel to a Fast IPS with fantastic color accuracy really was a worthwhile upgrade.

Great monitor but overpriced with what it is, with questionable backlight bleed. The picture quality is excellent but for $800 this thing should really be higher resolution. There is also excessive backlight bleed (white spots around the border on darker screens). I will be exchanging to hopefully get a better unit. For $800 there should be minimal backlight bleed.
