The Corsair Xeneon Flex is my first OLED panel display and definitely an impressive monitor in both performance and function. As the largest monitor I’ve used by a long shot, this 45” diagonal panel, made by LG, measures 41.75”W x 18”L and is just 0.25” thick. On its stand, the footprint expands to a 12” depth, and it has a fixed height of 22.5” that is tilt-able 22° (including a slight downward tilt). With its ultra-wide field of view and 21:9 aspect ratio at 3440 x 1440 resolution the resulting pixel density is ~83PPI; rather low when compared to a mobile phone but on par with contemporary TV displays. That said, at the optimal viewing distance of several feet away, you likely won’t be able to make out individual pixels. However, it’ll require you to have a desk large/deep enough to accommodate it while sitting far enough away, so that’s something to consider. While not quite 4K, this QHD panel gives you plenty of high-quality screen real estate to work with. The metal stand base is quite substantial, with a solid weight, wide-angled feet, and stabilizing rubber all along the bottom. It has a Kensington lock slot and fastens securely onto the integrated column of the monitor which features 2 HDMI, one Display Port 1.4 and USB-C DP alt inputs, as well as two USB-A ports, and USB-C upstream port along the back. These are oriented vertically with the AC power plug for a clean and tidy look without the need for additional cable management. Along the lower front of the column are two additional USB-A ports, headphone jack (no mic input), input toggle switch, power button, and 5-way menu joystick. Everything is easy to access and there's no awkward hunting for hidden up-facing ports. Just note that in order for input peripherals like wired/wireless keyboards and mice to work, the monitor’s upstream USB-C port must be connect to your computer. Keep in mind that the screen’s height is not adjustable, and there’s no VESA mount support or alternate mounting options. One of the first things I noticed about this monitor is the richness of the colors presented on screen and depth and uniformity of blacks. This is thanks to the immense levels of contrast (advertised as 1,500,000:1) and 100% sRGB color gamut provided by OLED technology with zero backlight bleeding and no light halos around bright objects on dark backgrounds. This makes for beautiful and immersive gaming, movie watching, and creative design experiences. However, the tradeoff to this is a susceptibility to burn-in (aka image retention) which Corsair attempts to mitigate with an OSD feature called “Orbit,” which when enabled shifts the image on the screen 1 pixel per minute in a circular pattern. If you do experience accidental burn-in you can try running the “Image Retention Refresh” from the OSD to erase it. The main thing that makes this monitor unique is, of course, that it’s bendable, enabling you to adjust it from a completely flat screen to a curved one with the help of two easy-to-use retractable handles on the sides. Be prepared to use a little more muscle than expected to bend the screen; when making it flat again, I found it a little easier to push back one side at a time. Over time though, you may find that it won’t ever go back to being “perfectly” flat. I also thought it was interesting that the screen shape will hold at positions other than 800R (the maximum curvature) allowing you set the amount of curvature as much or as little as you desire on the left and right sides independently. This gives you the flexibility of choice, depending on your usage: a deeply curved screen for an immersive, realistic gaming experience and creative work, a flat screen more suitable for watching movies and productivity tasks without any distortion, and anything in between. The monitor supports adaptive sync, compatible with both AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync, and I was able to utilize the latter on my GTX 1070. At max resolution, I was only able to set the monitor to up to a 100 Hz refresh rate, a limitation of my GPU; to enable 240Hz refresh, I had to drop down to 2560x1440p resolution (2K). Coupled with its fast response times (0.03ms), fast-paced action in FPS, MMORPG, and racing games had very smooth, ghost-free motion with no noticeable stutter, tearing, or skipped frames. One thing that I wasn’t a huge fan during non-gaming use was the auto-brightness that increases when there is low average luminance, e.g. lots of dark colors, and dims it when there’s a lot of white. While this helps during gameplay with navigating dark dungeons and dimly lit environments (1000 peak nits with HDR), it was a bit distracting when moving between browser tabs and applications with different colored backgrounds during other computing activities. Thankfully, this feature can be disabled by changing the OSD system setting “Brightness Stabilizer” to ‘On,’ although the trade-off is that the brightness will be capped at 150 nits. If sometimes text looks blurry, you may notice that up close you can see a fine colorful fringe around letters against a contrasting background, often a red/greenish shadow; however, you really have to be super close to the monitor and at a normal viewing distance it’s easy to ignore. Also, if you find on a Windows machine that the monitor is “stuck” in HDR mode, check your Xbox Game Bar settings as it may be enforcing a global HDR setting preventing the selection of another preset display profile. Overall, this monitor provides an extremely satisfying gaming experience and with its ability to switch between flat and curved on a whim, gives you the freedom to customize the curvature for optimal viewing no matter what you use it for. The toggle on the front lets you change between input sources quickly, and you can even display up to two inputs at once with overlayed PIP (picture in picture) or side-by-side PBP (picture by picture). It’s a whole lot of screen though, so just be sure you have the space for it on your desk and seating distance for optimal viewing.

A game changer in the premium gaming monitor space

As someone who spends a lot of time gaming, working, and watching movies on my computer, I was thrilled to try out this Corsair Xeneon monitor, and it did not disappoint. This monitor truly sets an extremely high bar for other premium monitors. The first thing I noticed was the stunning OLED display. LG are widely known as leaders in the premium display space, and this screen is absolutely no exception. Colors are incredibly rich and vibrant. The high contrast ratio lets this display show off the brightest whites and deepest blacks. As for the size, the screen is right at that sweet spot where it is large enough to replace the need for multiple monitors, while also not being awkwardly long horizontally like other large monitors I have used previously where I’d find myself craning my head back and forth constantly to see the whole screen, and prolonged gaming sessions would start to get uncomfortable. The panel’s low blue light emissions also help add some comfort to my long gaming sessions by reducing eye strain. The low input lag and high refresh rate made for a premium PC gaming experience. I was blown away by how smooth everything looked and felt. Playing a flight-based combat game with the panel in its curved setting was an incredibly immersive experience. The screen looks great either flat or curved. At first, I thought being able to switch between display curvature was something I'd rarely do with this monitor, but having the flexibility to do work on a flat screen and convert easily to a curved screen for gaming has been a game changer. Initially, I was a little hesitant to bend the screen back and forth, but once I realized how smooth the bending mechanism was and how solid the screen felt, I had no qualms about bending it to my heart's content. The handles used to bend the screen are easy to use and then tuck away out of sight when not in use. The onboard menu is easy to navigate and has lots of options available to fine-tune the monitor to your tastes. The default picture mode looks great, but the other presets specific for movies or gaming really enhance the viewing experience even further. The onboard picture-in-picture (PIP) option was an unexpected but useful feature. I used it to play a show off my laptop on the main screen while playing Switch on the subscreen. The stand is also worth mentioning. It has a large footprint which adds a lot of stability, especially when adjusting the screen’s bend radius. And with USB-A, USB-C, HDMI 2.1, and DisplayPort connections, there's no shortage of functionality. When I was done with my gaming rig, being able to connect my work laptop via the USB-C's Alt Mode allowed me to power my laptop and extend my display through just one cable was very welcomed.

First off, the Corsair Xeneon Flex 45" OLED Bendable QHD 240Hz monitor is a mouthful to say when people come from far and wide to see how far you can bend this ultrawide display! All joking aside, this thing is a monster, in so many amazing ways. I'll start with the cons: -I wish this was 4k, but at the same price or lower. -The handles are plastic. -There is no VESA or any other mounting ability and a massive base. -No matter how many times you bend and flatten it, you will be slightly terrified that you bent it too far. The pros, however, are innumerable. But here are some of the highlights: -Unbelievable contrast! -Incredibly accurate color reproduction. -Simple and easy to use GUI menu. -Ports, so many I/O ports! -The screen size, aspect ratio, and border size are all perfect! -Unboxing is quick, safe, and easy! I have to say, this monitor is leaps and bounds better than my old monitor setup, which was an HP OMEN 27x (1440P 165Hz) and an ASUS 27" (1080P 165Hz) that I was using for both work and play. I was a little skeptical about how going to "just" one monitor was going to work out. After some adjustment of my workflow, the seamless screen environment and sharp picture was a fantastic switch for my work productivity. My coworkers are hugely envious of my home office setup, more than they were before, even to the point where my boss may do something incredibly but slightly fiscally irresponsible and splurge on these or something similar for our office (maybe just himself at first). As a finance and accounting professional working in green energy tech, we use Excel A LOT. At 100% viewing on a new worksheet, I can see from A to BA (nice) without having to scroll! The adjustability in Windows 11 to snap windows in all different directions allows me to setup my screen similarly to my dual monitor setup, but with the ability to snap something into the middle of the screen. This would previously have been impossible without some deeply annoying bezels in the way. My work has hugely benefited from the Xeneon Flex! Even being able to adjust the level of curve or make the screen completely flat has been a huge help on eye strain by putting more of my work directly into my primary range of vision! For play: just wow. This is unbelievable to game on! Driving and racing games (Forza and GTA V) with the curve maxed out (800r, I believe) brings you right into the middle of the action! Same with COD and other FPSs, Civ6 is one of the few games I have found that doesn't really benefit from from some level of curve. Although it doesn't hurt the gameplay, either. Overall, this is one incredible screen for work, play, and entertainment! The cost is on the higher side for a 1440P monitor, but this is also like getting two of the best OLED 1440P monitors. It is well worth the cost and such an amazing value, as long as you don't NEED to mount it on a VESA or other kind of mount. You won't bee disappointed in your decision to purchase this!

This monitor has honestly changed my life. 9.5/10 As someone who both works remotely and games, I spend quite a bit of time behind my desk. I saw a few videos about OLED and figured I'd give it a shot. Honestly, I purchased this thing thinking that I'd be underwhelmed and just end up returning it. I was wrong. The contrast, the color vibrancy, the refresh rate, everything about this monitor blew me away. Playing games like Returnal or Darktide after switching to this gem has been an absolute blast. I also love the flexibility of being able to flatten out the monitor when I need to be productive or crank it if I want a hard curve while getting immersed in a game. Also, not to be missed, this monitor has some front-facing I/O ports that are really handy. I wish every monitor game with these. Now here are some drawbacks that I've run into after a few weeks of owning this monitor. 1. The 5 front-facing i/o ports are amazing, the rear ports -- not so much. Due to this monitor's size it is an absolute pain to try to get back there if you want to plug something in. If you have your desk up against a wall like I do then youll find that you'll have to flip this behemoth at least 90% if you ever want to plug anything in. 2. The monitor is meant to make a sort of "popping" or "clicking" sound when you've reached its max curve. This sound is meant to signal that you shouldnt continue bending it. My monitor made that sound for maybe the first 3 days and hasn't made it since. Is this the biggest deal in the world? No. It is sort of annoying that I always have to question myself when I'm bending this thing now? Yes. All in all an amazing product, the dream would be that Corsair comes out with some adjustable monitor arms for this thing but unfortunately I don't think it would be possible because of the hardware that exists in the stand.

This is among the form factors of a monitor that I've been waiting for ever since OLED panels started to come down in size and folks started experimenting with the 48" LG OLED TVs as dedicated PC monitors. I believe they chose a great sweet spot of resolution and massive size to allow more PCs than not to be able to very comfortably drive this monitor to great results. Sure the text clarity for daily tasks suffers a little though it is not that large an issue for me personally, especially because I sit a fair way back from the monitor so the text fringing is not as noticeable. One thing I've found interesting is that I can set the monitor to remain in HDR via Windows 10 and I have not experienced the typical washed out look of web browsing or other applications that do not natively run in HDR. Even running normal games in non-HDR modes do not have the colors as negatively affected, or not negatively affected at all, as when I've tried to do this on other monitors (Odyssey G9 and a 48" LG CX are what I've attempted to do this on in the past to negative results). It is quite expensive, the curve gimmick is very cool though I have left it curved somewhat permanently due to my desk setup, though the array of ports built into the stand are extremely convenient and have helped with cable management quite a bit. If you can get it on sale combined with other monetary factors such as selling older equipment to go towards this then it is absolutely worth purchasing. Absolutely stunning and amazing experience.

This monitor is awesome! Playing pc games with Oled is a must now! It's surprising how often I adjust the curvature of the screen now that I can; some games look better with, and others without, and now I have both! I use it for productivity too. By default, the text was too small and looked pixely, but increasing the size a little big helped a lot!

I know pixel density has been a constant topic of debate but this has been amazing. I sit about 30" from the monitor and was trying to go from a 3 monitor setup to 2. The adjustable curve is wonderful and will pair perfectly with the upcoming G9 OLED. Pros: - Flex display - most people will probably set it once and leave it that way but being able to alter the level of immersion is a huge plus. I'll be getting the G9 OLED so I'll need to play with the flex of the display for aesthetic purposes but the 800r capability is where this one has stayed for me since purchase. - FPS and racing sims are insane on this thing. - 240hz is perfect to have. - Colors with OLED are great Cons: - There's no desk mount. Impatiently waiting for Corsair to release their desk mount. That or someone to release a cad design for an aluminum mount. I'll need to get a riser once the G9 OLED is out for the setup I want to have. - At 45 inches, this should've been a 4k panel but it does everything I've thrown at it without issue. (3090/5950x rig) It would just be nice if it had 4k capability, especially for the price...just saying. - Strange problem I've had is my 4k hdmi splitter doesn't allow audio for consoles when connected. This could be a cable issue or splitter issue but I doubt it since I used the same splitter I had with my triple screen setup. The triple screen setup had audio just fine. I haven't figured this one out yet.

Simply Stunning. I've always been a premium monitor buyer and I must say, this stands out. Bendable OLED paired with my 4090 mobile unit is the perfect pairing. The monitor is extremely sturdy, and flexible (pun intended) to use for work or gaming. Would highly recommend, especially when the product is on sale at ~$1600.

The monitor's standout feature is undoubtedly its bendable OLED display. The 45-inch display can be curved to your preferred viewing angle, delivering an immersive experience that wraps around your field of vision. The ultra-slim bezels enhance the sense of immersion. The QHD resolution combined with a 240Hz refresh rate 0.03ms response. Whether you're gaming, streaming, the vivid colors, deep blacks, and clarity make every pixel come alive. The Xeneon Flex doesn't compromise on performance, supporting both FreeSync and G-SYNC technologies. The result is buttery-smooth gameplay without tearing or stuttering. Whether you're a competitive gamer or a casual player, the responsiveness of this monitor elevates your gaming experience. CORSAIR has left no stone unturned in ensuring that the Xeneon Flex is future-proof. With a generous array of ports, including HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 (though I wish it included DisplayPort 2.0 at least), It's not 4k but you can still take full advantage of the latest gaming consoles. The inclusion of USB-C enhances versatility, providing a one-cable solution for video, audio, and data transfer and having the ability to upgrade the firmware is another plus. The CORSAIR Xeneon Flex 45” OLED Bendable QHD Monitor stands in a field full of Oled and QOled monitors. I had been using the Alienware AW3423DW up until now and even though the pixel density is the same you can not tell unless you're sitting an inch in front of your monitor. It looks just as good and has amazing HDR. If you're looking for a great Oled monitor and size isn't really something you care about or is a deal breaker I would recommend the Alienware but if having a bigger monitor is your desire then I highly recommend this one.

The colors are great and makes a big difference during gameplay cut scenes. It’s very smooth playing world of Warcraft and I have been able to increase my graphics to top defaults. My only concern is the bending of the screen. I’m not sure if I was being too gentle but it was a bit difficult to bend by myself but I was worried about cracking my new monitor. I love that you can bend each side to my individual needs to be different if I need them to be. It’s double my precious monitor speed in hz so it’s also a big upgrade for me. I like that the ports and power switch is accessible from the front so I don’t have to search for it in the back.
