Used this paste for my amd ryzen 7 2700 processor after i cleaned it, works perfectly and controls the temp as expected. Just as good as the top notch pastes recommended online except this is cheaper for the same outcome.

Using on a 5900x running at 4.7ghz all core and applied to my rig strix 6900xt. CPU and gpu have 240mm aios, fans replaced with 3000rpm noctua industrial fans @ 24v with their own 24v power supply’s. Max cpu temp achieved over 3 3d mark runs was 55deg C and gpu at 52deg c. In a Corsair 5000d airflow. This Corsair thermal paste had me a little nervous at first because I honestly didn’t think it would be enough for the insane things I do in regards to room airflow and additional cooling provided by my windowless ac, get, try it, I’m pretty sure you will love it, only downside it’s like $25.00, but it is what it is. ***that gpu score is only that low until I get a dedicated breaker installed***

Meh. Compared to higher quality (albeit more expensive) thermal paste options, the performance seems to not be too great. It's especially hard to recommend over Corsair's other, cheaper, options.

    Great Thermal Paste

The XTM70 Thermal Paste stands out as an excellent choice for users looking to improve their CPU or GPU cooling performance. Its consistency and thermal conductivity make it a standout in the crowded thermal paste market. In terms of application, the XTM70 is relatively easy to work with, offering a smooth, creamy texture that spreads evenly across the surface. The paste’s viscosity is just right—thick enough to stay in place but not so thick that it becomes difficult to apply. Whether you're a seasoned PC builder or a first-timer, the process is straightforward, and it provides a secure fit on your processor or heatsink. Performance-wise, the XTM70 excels with a thermal conductivity rating of 7.0 W/mK, which allows for efficient heat transfer between your processor and the cooling solution. This translates into lower temperatures, especially under heavy load, which can extend the lifespan of your components and improve system stability. Many users have reported a noticeable temperature drop when using XTM70, particularly when compared to standard or lower-quality pastes. One of the notable features of the XTM70 is its durability. Once applied, it doesn’t dry out or degrade quickly, maintaining consistent performance over time. This long-term stability ensures that your CPU or GPU cooling continues to be efficient for months or even years, depending on your usage patterns. However, there are some minor considerations to keep in mind. While the paste performs well, it may not be the absolute best option for extreme overclockers or users pushing their systems to the absolute limit. There are alternatives on the market with slightly higher thermal conductivity ratings, but for the majority of users, XTM70 offers an excellent balance between performance, ease of application, and longevity. Overall, the XTM70 Thermal Paste is an outstanding option for most PC builders or enthusiasts looking for reliable and effective cooling. It delivers solid thermal performance, is easy to apply, and provides lasting results—making it a great value for its price point.

I used the Corsair XTM70 thermal paste and the results were impressive. After applying it, I noticed an immediate drop in CPU temperatures, even under heavy workloads and gaming. The paste spreads easily and has a smooth consistency, making application simple and mess-free. It helped keep my system cooler and more stable, especially during long sessions. The quality feels premium, and it performs exactly as advertised. Overall, the Corsair XTM70 is an excellent thermal paste that delivers outstanding cooling performance and is definitely worth it for anyone upgrading or building a PC.

This is good thermal paste but it is very thick and sticky. It is very difficult to spread and the included spreader sucks. You would be better off using a credit card. I suppose it would be better if you were to heat up the paste somehow or use just a god-awful amount with the included template, but I bought this for a gaming laptop so neither form factor stencil would work. I ended up just doing the blob and squish. It dropped my temperatures by about 2° C from the 6 year old paste from the factory and performs well with my settings maxed out. It also sticks to gloves, so keep that in mind.

Works exactly as advertised on my i9 cpu

This thermal paste works wonders for my i9 cpu. At first I was worried that I had gotten a bad batch because it is much thicker and gummier than other thermal pastes that I've used, but I looked up others who had used it and they described that it had this consistency and that it was normal. I decided to give it a try anyway to see what would happen and pasted the cpu and then put the aio heatsink on top. It MASSIVELY improved my temps, I was really pleasantly surprised. So yeah, just a word of advice that it might be thick and a little difficult to apply. My recommendation is to put a line on the longer end of the cpu (if it's rectangular instead of square) and then use the card inside to pull the paste down evenly and redo this motion from the top and down again if you need more on the bottom end of the cpu. So yeah, 10/10 thermal paste, will def buy again.

It’s thermal paste—you get what you pay for. The CORSAIR XTM70 does its job well, providing solid thermal transfer and keeping temps in check under load. Application was smooth and mess-free, and the included stencil and spreader were a nice touch. Nothing revolutionary, but reliable and performs as advertised. A good choice if you want something that works without fuss.

The CORSAIR XTM70 did exactly what I needed it to do. Super easy to apply, great texture—not too runny or thick—and my CPU temps are noticeably lower now. No mess, no fuss, just solid performance. If you’re looking for a thermal paste that gets the job done right, this one’s a great pick.

Corsair thermal paste is an excellent product that excels in enhancing the thermal conductivity between your CPU/GPU and its heatsink. Upon opening the package, you’re greeted with a sleek, well-designed syringe that makes application both simple and precise. The paste itself has a smooth consistency, allowing for easy spreading across the surface without clumping or drying too quickly. Once applied, I noticed a significant drop in temperatures during both idle and load scenarios. The thermal performance is impressive, consistently outperforming other pastes I've used in the past. Whether you're a casual gamer or a hardcore enthusiast, this thermal paste effectively manages heat, helping to maintain optimal operating temperatures. The drying time is also commendable – it sets without becoming brittle, ensuring long-lasting performance over time. Additionally, the cleanup process is straightforward, as it doesn’t leave behind stubborn residues. Overall, Corsair has created a top-tier thermal paste that combines performance and ease of use, making it a worthy addition to any build. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance their system's cooling efficiency!

It’s way too expensive for what it is. That being said if you find yourself without thermal paste and need something you can just walk into a store and get I would highly recommend this. The past is incredibly thick I tried to spread it all over the cpu but had trouble doing so I would recommend just applying a pea size amount and letting your cooler spread it. Thermal performance is more or less same as other cheaper pastes however this paste does seem to not have any sort of pump out like other pastes do. After two hours of stress testing my cpu maxed out at a temp of 81 c a 7800x3d with a cheap 360mm aio and a -30 offset.

I used the Corsair XTM70 in my latest custom build, and the results were outstanding. Application was smooth and clean thanks to the included stencil and spreader—no mess, no guesswork. Once installed, I saw an immediate drop in CPU temps, even under heavy load and overclocking. This paste is engineered for high-performance systems, and it shows. Whether you're gaming, rendering, or pushing your rig to the limit, the XTM70 keeps your components cool and stable. It’s non-conductive, easy to apply, and built for serious thermal efficiency. If you're building a high-end PC or upgrading your cooling setup, this thermal paste is a must-have. Corsair nailed it.
