Tyson has a way of explaining things and conveying complicated ideas that are both entertaining and really makes sense. The visual effects were very appealing and the show flowed from beginning to end beautifully.

This series is phenomenal in every sense of the word. However, if you plan to watch this on a computer primarily I would suggest getting the DVD instead of Blu-Ray. Other than that, everything else is incredible. Plenty of bonus features as well!

Great show in the vein of the old(er) specials from the Discovery Channel, TLC, Nat Geo, etc before they became bogged down with uneducational reality shows. Proof-positive that education can be entertaining & entertainment can be educational.

I was a huge fan of the original Carl Sagan version. I saw this on the Shelf at Best Buy and that's why I knew I had to have it. It's a very good purchase I'm about halfway through it right now and it's just fascinating.

Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson is absolutely amazing in this science documentary tuned to the tune of everyone, not just the scientifically literate. I cannot praise this series enough. Solid information that everyone can understand.

Huge fan of science, astronomy and physics. This is a perfect nod to one of our greatest scientific minds, Carl Sagan. And NDTyson carrying the torch of how important research and exploration is. LET IT CONTINUE!

I remember the Original one with Carl Sagan and this one picks up where that left off and surpasses it. Lots of good knowledge, told in a creative way and wonderful stories and animations to go along. This is a must own

Great price on the blu-ray when I bought it on sale. I have enjoyed the episodes. It's worth watching with subtitles because they move pretty fast through the series and they talk about a lot of things.

Great science show that engages the viewer intellectually and emotionally. I bought this to watch with my 3 year old girl when she is older - (right now she loves the space scenes but gets antsy with the rest of the show).

Bought this for my 6yr old girl. She loves the stars and planets. The vivid imaginary travels and sites in this video is so thought-provoking for her. Tons of questions came up as a result. Very good learning tool!!!

Neil has taught me more than all 12 years of school. One could say this series is educational yet absolutely captivating for the mind.

This was a great informational adventure. It was inspiring and humbling in a way that makes humans everyday problems insignificant compared to the universe. It should stir emotions and awe in all of us.

Love this series. It’s a excellent modern update of Carl Sagan’s book/series. Would recommend for anyone interested in science.

Being a science geek and reading all of Stepen Hawkings books and Brian Cox and Brian Green as well, this was a great addition. Seems everything plays well in my BluRay player and TV.

Neil deGrassee Tyson is a perfect choice to host the new version of the 80s educational show cosmos. It is both entertaining, and informative. Carl Sagan would be proud.

Great special effects, animated portions are beautiful, but the best part is Neil deGrasse Tyson's excitement about science and the universe and wanting to share that with everyone.

Making the science of the universe cool and interesting again. Glad they brought the series back for another glimpse into the universe and Tyson is the perfect host.

I found this show to be extremely entertaining. The filming and stories are phenomenal and help to understand a complicated subject matter.

Cosmos is a great series of science-oriented shows on the universe, origins of life, and more. Definitely a worthwhile learning experience!
