I bought this blu-ray movie because it was on sale for $5.00. I'm a collector. And the Movie it self was very good animai.

It is a really good artwork on this bluray. It's seems to had lots of hours to achieve this masterpiece on that format.

Although it's not as good as the main series, if your a fan of Cowboy Bebop, you'll find enjoyment in this movie.

I enjoyed the cowboy bebop series, so I had to try the movie. I was not disappointed, definitely worth the price.

If you are a Bebop fan this is a must have. I only wish it had extras and a better 5.1 track.

Would've gave it a 5 start but without the extras on bluray it let me down but overall a great purchase

Great movie but missing the extras the DVD carried

“Cowboy Bebop the Movie” (Originally called "Knocking on Heaven's Door")is a SPECTACULAR film. It is both funny and serious, contrasting Spike’s sarcastic one-liners and Ed’s eccentrics with some heavy flashbacks and near death experiences. Ed amuses with her antics, Spike amazes with his skills, Faye keeps the fan-boys happy, and Jet explains and complains in turn. ... It has great plot that is well thought out and suspenseful, an awsome villain and mind-blowing action. There are shoot-outs, explosions and best of all, hand-to-hand combat Jet Lee style. (Spike is the BEST!) The animation is some of the best I’ve ever seen, with intense detail and correct proportions that give it an extremely life-like quality. Like wise the backgrounds are intricately designed and dramatically lighted to give the futuristic setting a sense of honesty and personality. The music, true to the Cowboy Bebop legacy, is gorgeous, with jazzy scores by Yoko Kano and the usual assortment of blues, jazz, and techno-pop tracks. All together, it is the perfect blend of wonderful art and great entertainment. ... If you love Cowboy Bebop, anime in general, or even just smash action/suspense movies, this film is the PERFECT choice. It is the best anime movie ever, and one of my favorite movies of all time.

This movie has the same feel as the Cowboy Bebop TV seris, which is of course a good thing. Cowboy Bebop: The Movie concerns a terrorist who seeks to unleash an experimental viral weapon on the unsuspecting populace of the Mars colony. Spike and the rest of the Bebop crew rush to stop him from destroying the colony (and also to pick up the large bounty on the terrorist). The animation is amazingly fluid and expertly drawn. The music, like in the TV series, is cool and jazzy. There is lots of action in this movie, and all of the action sequences are exciting to watch, from chase scenes to martial arts duels. This movie is ever bit as outstanding as the TV series it is based on, and the TV series is one of the best anime ever made. This is an excellent movie to introduce people to anime. Cowboy Bebop: The Movie actually holds its own alongside such sci-fi greats as Star Wars or Blade Runner. Even if you haven't seen the TV series, you can still follow and enjoy this movie. Cowboy Bebop has an 'R' rating, and that is exactly the rating it warrants (which I find remarkable because the MPAA tends to give any animated feautre it sees a 'G' rating). Any movie or TV series should be viewed in it's original language, whether that language is English, Fench or, in this case, Japanese. The Japanese cast is exceptional, the English cast, not quite so good, so watch this in Japanese. For exciting action and cool anime, Cowboy Bebop can't be beat. Se you later, Space Cowboy.
