great remaster of classic games!

It plays and looks great. If you enjoyed the old Crash games, you'll love this. They are still as hard as the original games were. They are not a walk in the park to beat.

Crash is back!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Crash series was one of my favorites back on the original Playstation, to the point that I got 100% on all three of the platformers. So, I was delighted whenever Vicarious Visions announced they were remaking/remastering (it kind of teeters between the two) and giddy with joy when I first saw gameplay of them. The biggest improvement is that the games were built from the ground up, using Naughty Dog's blueprints and they look marvelous. Granted, they don't look quite as good as something like the recent Ratchet & Clank, but VV did a fantastic job with the graphics. The gameplay is almost identical, although it might take a little while to get used to controlling Crash in the first game, since his jumping is slightly different. Other things VV added is the ability to play as Crash's sister, Coco, in all three games, as well as the time trials from the later games into the first one.
