Tried out for my self. I would say 3 days tops without washing my bottle. Filtered water tastes weird after 3 days, but no smell while using & charging my cap. By 6 & 7th day refilling my bottle the water tasted weird, but didnt get me sick. I think this is perfect for drinking water from city water fountains or any purified, but potential risk filtered water sources. BBY763

Keeps drinks cold and has a solid build. With different water sources, the purifying uv light definitely comes in handy.

Great insulated bottle that keeps your water clean

I have self-cleaning uv-c bottles to compare and this is just as good as the more expensive ones! The biggest differences are battery life and time it takes to purify the water. At 3 minutes to purify, it is totally fine. The battery lasts about 3 days when you have it on auto clean, which is no big deal. I usually don't have it on auto clean and only clean when necessary.

UV Light Works! Easy to use.

Bottle is very is to use and the UV light does a great job at preventing that musty smell buildup which is prevalent on other insulated water bottles I have owned. The charger easily connects magnetically. Wish they made a dummy cap that can be used on bottle if you are wanting to refrigerate your bottle and keep the contents cold.

Comparable to other brands at a fraction of the price. The onyx and kale look great. The build quality is pretty good. As an added bonus, my son loves that it says "SUS" inside the bottle (Stainless Steel Stamp).
