They managed to capture the essence of the film beautifully in the transfer. If you can't get the Second Sight release, this 4K will still do nicely.

Whats also cool is in the bonus features the original Crimes of the future film is on the disc which also alpears to be remastered in 4k.

This isn't going to be the film for everyone. It is beautifully shot and the practical effects are fabulous. It is a weird movie. It reminds me of Crash (1996) in the way that it equates sex & pleasure with pain, suffering and disfigurement.

In a future where no one feels pain anymore....surgery has become the new form of underground entertainment. The world building in this film is absolutely magnificent and the acting is top notch. A must see for any David Cronenburg fan or if you are into body horror.
