A fun Final Fantasy game that expands on Final Fantasy 7

I never got a chance to play the original so I'm excited to finally play this on the switch with new graphics, scences, etc. Btw, I got my steelbook and game in perfect condition on release date.

This is something special. I like the gameplay, looks amazing, controls are great and the combat is better?

Just got back from my local best buy and had picked up my in-store perorder of Crisis Core-Final Fantasy VII-Reunion for nintendo switch which came with the free steelbook for preordering and the solder materia set code.

Like many others, I never got a chance to play the original on PSP. So im especially happy that this exists so i can experience it. The game looks pretty good and while its not a full remaster or remake like FFVII is, i think they did a great job touching up the game to be closer to today’s standards. One thing i must mention is that the game was surprisingly short. Its my fault for assuming that the game would be longer but, to my surprise, the game only took about 15 hrs to complete the main story. You can definitely get more hours out of the game if you complete all the missions but, i found that doing so would be a bit of a drag as they get a bit repetitive after a while. Still really enjoyed the experience and wish that this beautiful game lasted a tiny bit longer. Would recommend as a must-play for all FFVII lovers out there!

I love Final Fantasy so I can get the chance to play it again on my Switch!! I love it!!

In a nutshell, Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core on Nintendo Switch is a must-play. Whether you're a long-time fan or just getting into Final Fantasy, this game blends nostalgia with a fresh feel. The graphics and music are amazing, the gameplay is engaging, and the story hits you right in the feels. It's a fantastic journey that'll stick with you even after you've put the Switch down. Highly recommended!

Outstanding game, I played this game for the original PSP release and loved it, so when it came out for the Switch, I knew I had to buy it especially since the graphics were updated. Loved the nostalgic feeling of replaying this game again. This gets a 10/10 fro me.

The Switch version is really good, but there are downsides to playing the game for example the text is too small for me to read but it's probably a me thing the combat is fluid, default controls are a bit stiff but you can change them in setting so there's that overall great remake/remastered game that the PSP to now Switch version has given us a great story, cast of characters, soundtrack, and the enhanced graphics and visuals hands down

Having never played the original it was nice to have this game remade for current consoles. Looks great on the switch and the missions are pretty linear which are perfect for jumping in and out.

Never played this game originally when it came out but as a final fantasy fan I have been loving this. Graphics are not always there but the gameplay is fun. Other platforms probably look better but I love the portability of this switch version.

I'm grading on a bit of a curve here. This game is a great update to the original with better graphics and some good functionality updates. It is still as tedious if you try to do everything. Zach Fair being the best is the main draw and getting those early glimpses of Cloud Strife. Great for a FF7 fan but maybe a skip for people not totally into the series.

Great gameplay and story! Runs well even on Switch. Also, really nice for pick-up and pkay in short sections.

Terrific JRPG. It can be a tad bit "grindy" at times, but the story moves quickly and there's a ton of extra stuff to do to keep us engaged. And, it's an important and integral story in the Final Fantasy VII saga. It runs great on the Switch, too!

I never played this game when it first came out but have been loving it on the switch. I don't remember playing a new game this much. I love final fantasy games and this game came out at a good time now that 7 is getting remade.

The game itself plays just like the original psp game so dont expect a next gen gameplay however with that said, the gameplay is fun very reminiscent of pokemon (random encounters) action heavy (no turn base mechanic) and the story has the same charm youd expect especially post ff7 remake (of that was your start) get it!

This is a Remake of the hit PSP game with updated visuals and combat to match FF7R, a remixed soundtrack, and fully voiced dialogue featuring the new cast. Performance on Switch is similar to PS4, Xbone albeit with some visual downgrades. However it still looks and runs impressively for the hardware it's on. If you're a FF7 fan I cannot recommend this game enough

This was a great game on the PSP, and the updated version has remastered it excellently. A worthy addition to the story of Final Fantasy VII

It is a full fledged FF7 lore oriented game. The downside is the hardware that it's running on. It can get laggy quickly. As far as the game itself, it plays really well, but can be a little on the grindy side. My biggest complaint, and it isn't that huge, is the automated voice that starts and ends every combat. "Combat mode activated" and "Conflict Resolved". You hear them about 30-40 times an hour on some missions. All in all, still a super fun game if you are a fan of the series, I don't know if it would be received as well by someone with no context of the series and the tone set.
