    Great game with engaging combat. Feels very much like FFVII remake but lacks a lot of the charm that game has. I would still strongly recommend this game though. Very happy with purchase.

    The upgrades that Square has given this game is immense. The gameplay is fun but a little repetitive. The story isn’t the best, but I love the characters. The soundtrack is amazing.

    I won't lie - this, as well as Dirge of Cerberus (anyone remember that) have to stand on the shoulders of FF7. Without that foundation, I would have to say pass. But, the fact is that's what this is, and if you love FF7, you should get this as well. Even though this can't hold a candle to the original, I welcome a further exploration of that world. I played this originally on the PSP, so I am looking forward to going through it again on PS5 with my kids.
