The main lesson in cooking meats, especially tougher beef and pork, is to decide whether to cook slow (8-10 hours) on low or cook fast (4-6 hours) on high. I like the former, but the online recipes will assist in recommending which is optimal for whatever the project is. This is a must have for every kitchen. Actually, the online sales price caught my attention on this item.
