The price was insane. Not the fastest ssd in the market but I paid double the price of a 1tb ssd just 2 yrs ago.

I bought this to be my secondary drive to savefiles, videos, and pictures. It does a good job of that.

It was easy to install on my Lenovo laptop. It's a quality SSD and I am getting the mentioned input and output speed. Definitely recommended.

Crucial is reliable. Ive been using for one for years and this is my second upgrade.

The Crucial P3 is my second SSD from the Crucial line since last year. I use my PC primarily for gaming and do a bit of video and image content creation so I needed a storage upgrade with fast read and write speeds to handle these applications. The Crucial P3 hit the spot on most major needs while still remaining budget friendly. It's basically plug-and-play, after installing the drive in an open slot in my PC. though you will have . The Crucial P3 was consistently able to achieve read and write speeds over 6500 MB/s. Unless you're constantly writing large amounts of data, this drive should cover most typical consumer activities like gaming, streaming, and creative work without encountering any stuttering or throttling. I found I was able to render and save 4K video content to the drive in a very reasonable amount of time. This drive does not have an onboard heatsink, though you can add an aftermarket one to lower the operating temps to extend the life of the drive. Under heavy load testing with game mode enabled, the temps can run kind of high, but the drive continued to perform well in that range without noticeable speed throttling. Overall, I think this drive is a very good mid-tier, budget-friendly upgrade for gaming storage and enhancing everyday computing use, including content creation. It delivers fast read and write speeds for PCIe gen 3 m.2 slots and it is easy to install and set up. Overall, I am highly satisfied with this Crucial P3 SSD and I highly recommend it!

Faster than I expected, but once you experience full-speed gen4x4 speed, you almost can't go back. That being said, for a media center mini PC, this more than does the job.

It is faster than any GEN 3 drive I’ve tested to date (out of about 10 drives). As I already have a GEN 4 boot drive, I wanted a larger drive as my primary gaming drive for storing today’s larger games. I’ve used CRUCIAL RAM for a long time, but this is the first CRUCIAL drive I’ve tried. So far I’m very impressed. SETUP The set up was very easy, on my Win 10 PC, I just needed to install the drive in the appropriate slot then run windows partition manager to activate the drive and create a partition and format the drive. TESTING In my PC I was able to get results of 3160 MB/s Read and 3019 MB/s Write speeds. SUMMARY I fully recommend the CRUCIAL - P3 2TB INTERNAL SSD PCIE GEN 3.0 NVME for anyone looking for increased storage, but that does not require GEN 4 speeds.

Easy installation and superior read write than the last gen ssds!!!

I am a person that suffers from the Call of Duty is the only game I can play because it took all of my storage. But not anymore! This drive saved my life now I can store more games on my PC! Also I don’t have to compromise any performance by putting it on a slow hard disk.The installation was fairly simple. They include the screw to hold it to the motherboard so if you lost it a year ago they got you. I popped it in added it in disk management and bam it was off to the races. This drive is fast! Transfers Gigs in seconds. I am able to load games quickly and am always the first one in when it comes to loading games. I also have 4k movies and videos I store on it for video editing and content consumption. It makes it easy to be able to scrub and search my videos without it buffering all the time causing frustration. This drive it a perfect addition to any rig whether you are editing video, have 4k video server, or gaming with more than one game. This is the drive for you. Only issue is I wish I did it sooner so I didn’t have to always delete stuff.
