I went from downloading games at about 50mb to 200-300mb with this drive. It was refurbished but I couldnt tell a difference. Very professionally done and will probably use this SSD for future upgrades!

Make sure that you have some type of passive cooling or heatsink. Runs hotter than samsung counterparts. But isn't prone to the failure issues that the samsung 980 and 990 seem to be having.

Installation was tricky because I was installing as a replacement boot disk for a failing hard disk drive. Manufacturer's instructions were not too useful.

This is an upgrade to the P5 model with reading speeds of 6600MB/sec while the writing speed is at 5000MB/sec. This drive can be used in a laptop and desktops. I was able to install this on my laptop that came with a 256 GB SSD with breeze. I Since this is backwards compatible, I was able to install it on PCIe 3.0 slot. It also comes with the screws to secure the drive for the M.2 slot. This might save you a trip to the hardware store. Using the Windows USB boot disk, reinstalled Windows 10 quickly and noticed the improved performance in booting as well as copying files. I like the 5-year warranty this drive comes with, plenty to last the life of your PC for most users. Added advantage of this SSD is that it can be used to expand your PS5 storage. If you are looking for a versatile quality M.2 SSD with performance for less, definitely consider this drive.
