I like crucial the best on eve thing I don’t like RGB so I’m good

Crucial memory never disappoint, build quality and chip selection are always top notch.I am using in a new build and this is really some sweet memory chips. The Desktop Memory is a high-performance memory module that promises to deliver impressive speeds and performance to your desktop PC. The modules were as usual well protected and easy install onto your motherboard. The build quality of the RAM is top-notch, the modules are well-made, sturdy and built for longevity. The black design with Crucial logo looks great and look great in my see through PC case and motherboard. Excellent performance, the DDR5 technology in this kit delivered lightning-fast speeds. The 5600MHz clock speed ensures that data transfers happen quickly and efficiently, which is important for demanding applications. The RAM performed flawlessly, delivering fast and responsive performance in my high intensive graphics games and editing programs. The increased speed and performance were immediately noticeable, Motherboard must support DDR5 before purchasing this kit. The DDR5 RAM is pretty costly compared to other RAM available but it's worth the investment for new builds or preconfigured systems as well. DDR5 RAM truly enhances my gaming experience with its enhance speed and performance.

Verdict. The Crucial Pro 32GB kit of DDR5-5600 UDIMM RAM is an excellent investment to achieve a significant increase in performance for a desktop computer. Installation. I originally intended to install this on a desktop computer that is two years old in an attempt to improve multi-tasking and responsiveness of this aging computer. However, after looking at the specs for this 32GB kit, it realized that it is only compatible with 12th Gen intel Core processors and AMD Ryzen 7000 series. The Intel processor I had was older that that. So instead, I installed it on a new desktop we have that only came with 8GB of RAM, but upgradable to 128GB of RAM. Installation was simple: open the case, locate the existing RAM, remove the single stick of 8GB DDR-4, and add the two sticks of 16GB (each) of DDR-5. Performance. While 8GB on this newer PC was adequate for day-to-day tasks and running a few programs, performance has been lagging when running too many programs and keeping too many tabs open. After installing the Crucial Pro 32GB kit, lag has completely disappeared... gone! I am able to keep literally every thing open… Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and about 30 browser tabs on Chrome and 20 on Brave. Performance is impeccable, and I am not even using all my memory (getting up to 22GB). Previously, this desktop computer was not used daily because performance was not as good as the other PC, but now it is the best performing computer in the house. Things I love. - Easy installation - Great value for RAM capacity - DDR-5 provides faster speeds - Sharply increases computer performance Overall, this is a great solution to increase RAM on a desktop computer that doesn’t have 32GB, and/or that doesn’t have DDR-5 RAM. I am very happy about this 32GB kit and highly recommend it.

Note to purchaser. Make sure you have a compatible computer and you know how to swap out RAM in a PC. If you don't know how to do that then take this to either Geek squad or a PC repair shop and have them do it for you. If you are absolutely determined to do it yourself and are adventurous then look it up online and watch and be prepared on having to open up your PC and find the ram slots and remove and replace it with these. For me, I have built my own PC so I already know how to do this.. Pull the side cover off, find the old RAM. Make sure you release any static on your body first before you touch any of the components and pull the old RAM out and align theses new ones and lock them in. I easily swapped out my old ddr5 ram with this crucial ram . It took me all but 5 mins. And what a difference.... My current setup was pretty fast already but this made it even better. Multi tasking was much better. I opened up Adobe and ACAD and Graphics seemed smoother and latency was reduced. I transfered files back and forth and there was a difference in speed. Buffering was negligible... I chose to not overclock this as I have run into issues previously when I overclocked RAM. I have instability issues and ended up having to change it back. Crucial has always been a solid choice with solid state RAM. So if you are in the market to upgrade your PCs RAM I would highly recommend this product. Made for gaming, graphics, and multi tasking.

Cas Latency Completely Incorrect. Advertised at cl22. It’s actually cl46 which is more than double. Avoid at all costs

This DDR5 ram is an easy upgrade for motherboards/CPU's that support DDR5. For a while I was on the fence as to whether it's worth the upgrade, and having done it I'd definitely say if you are looking for larger sticks, and fast ram that's stable this DDR5 is well worth it. This ram so far seems to be stable even when overclocked with the XMP3.0 profile. In terms of performance, for video editing, and photo editing I'd say it's definitely worth upgrading. With these sticks I was able to take my system to (all DDR5) 64GB total ram and for the apps that need memory (like video/photo editing) and those that are ram hungry this is worthwhile. The differences you'll notice will vary based on what it is you're doing but you definitely can notice a difference on large UHD clips loaded in to Adobe where seeking is improved/faster. Also, for gaming, I'd say this ram can help you squeeze out a few additional FPS just by upgrading to DDR5, but that will largely depend on the game and how it uses memory. For the apps I use, this ram upgrade seems to be worth it and it does perform as good or faster (as noted) than the DDR4 ram. I'd recommend it and especially this pro ram as it is stable and fast.

I selected this as my desktop only has 16 gigs DDR5-4800. I was getting on some maps for call of duty MW2 90fps with lows around 70fps. installed these and I was getting 100fps with lows around 85-90 on the same maps. Other maps I was getting around 140 tops and drops to about 120 or so. After installing these I was getting over 150fps and drops down to about 135fps. Easy to install. I do not do much video editing, and not enough to tell a difference. I just play fps games mainly and adding these seems to help improve my PC. I have a 13th gen i7-13700 with a RTX 3050 (8gig vram). I have always read more ram is better but did not think it would help out much other than for those who might do video editing or who open up a ton of pages. But to my surprise it did help in gaming as well. It is not that much of a boost. However, for myself, I am glad to have upgraded. I know especially in call of duty MW2 if I go below 60 fps, I feel like I am lagging. So, seeing this help me go from 70 fps to 85+ fps gave me a little more warm and fuzzy. If you are looking to add more ram to your computer and your computer will be able to use this kit, I recommend it.

I tried hooking up to my computer and it wouldn’t work

The product description states this is CAS Latency of 22 but it actually is 46. Don’t get misled like I did. Best Buy should update this.

That’s where this Crucial Pro 32GB Kit (2x16GB) 5600 MT/s DDR5-5600 UDIMM Desktop Memory comes in. It is from one of the most recognized memory manufacturers and one of the largest semiconductors makers in the world, Micron. They’ve been in business for as long as I can remember and produce quality products that last a long time. They really stand behind their products such as this professional series memory kit that comes with a limited lifetime warranty. So back to the more technical aspects of this memory. Even though it looks similar to DDR4 memory DIMMs, it is not compatible with DDR4 motherboards, it has a different pin-out layout, so please do yourself a favor and don’t try to jam it in your older MoBo, it just won’t work and you are very likely to damage both your mother and memory beyond repair. DDR5 memory and motherboards have been out for more than 6 months now, so there is a good selection out there, but if I were you I would go with at least a mid-range configuration to leverage the high performance nature of this memory. That will enable you to game at higher frame rates or render your graphic designs more smoothly. This memory runs very stable at 5600 MT/s CAS Level 46 but is also downward compatible to lower speeds of 5200 or 4800 if you have an earlier, less capable motherboard that can’t handle 5600 or a stable voltage feed. It also supports the performance recovery and mild overclocking for Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO technology. All in all, this a reliable, Pro Series choice at a reasonable price, especially when on-sale, so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to a friend.

DDR5 desktop ram, 32gb what's not to love. Packaging was pretty simple and frustration free. This is two separate sticks and they do have heat spreaders attached to them. That's important to realize depending on how cramped your motherboard is with heatsinks and fans. Obviously everyone's configuration is different but I did have to remove my 3080ti to get to my ram slots but your mileage may vary. Once I got them clicked into place they and put everything back together booted on the first try no issues. Normally you want to stick to the same speed and vendor of ram throughout your system or you find that the ram is underperforming what is advertised. This is the case in my machine as I had 16gb of another brand already installed. So I do get a full 48gb of DDR5 but the speed is underclocked to make it compatible and stable. I have not experienced any BSOD's or anything that would point to an issue with the memory. If you are in the market for some new ram and your motherboard supports DDR5 you can't go wrong with this, but if you are thinking of doing 4 sticks all together you should save up and just get all four sticks the same and keep things running timely and speedy in your build.

My brother has been helping me plan out and start slowly upgrade my gaming PC for the last few months. This upgrade was the big one as it included the motherboard, CPU and RAM. I had been putting off doing this for a while as I knew the system I wanted was going to cost a pretty penny, but once the opportunity came to test out this crucial DDR5 32GB of blazing fast RAM I took the plunge and did the whole upgrade. Now I wish I had done it sooner! I can’t really say exactly how much of my enhanced performance is because of the RAM upgrade, as the processer has jumped up a couple generations to be able to utilize DDR5 RAM. But I can say I have had no issues at all and performance has been greatly improved across the board! I loaded up some of my favorite games and frame rate and overall performance improved anywhere from moderate to incredibly so. My brother, who is one of those guys everyone asks for help with their own PC problems, was also impressed with the performance I was getting. Between my experience and his opinion I would absolutely recommend this RAM to a friend!

The dawn of DDR5 is upon us and is slowly phasing out DDR4. I have a pair of Crucial DDR4's in my old system, they worked great, never had any issues and they performed flawlessly with AMD XMP. But now on a Intel 13700K, it was time to upgrade the ram to DDR5 from DDR4. Installation is a breeze, I mean... it is RAM after all. The construction of the heatsink is great, extremely durable material, no overheating issues to ever be anticipated. The system recognized it upon boot, the Intel XMP feature works flawlessly with no fuss of overclocking needed anymore. Doing some benchmarks on my old system vs the new one with DDR5, I can say that this RAM is about 40% faster in terms of its benchmarks to my old pair of DIMM sticks. Pretty sweet to get that kind of boost of performance out of memory which is becoming ever so more important now and days with more and more apps and games consuming more RAM. The RAM interfaces nicely with the Intel 13700K and the GIGABYTE Z790 motherboard. If you want no thrills, no RGB, fast, durable RAM, then buy this.

The crucial Pro 32 GB kit makes a great upgrade to the computer. Having the ability to just have access to more RAM when you need it most makes it a seamless transition when your games demand it. This was a very simple install for my set up, only took of the cover and fit perfectly fine no major snags. The kit it self has two sticks each is 16GB total 32GB. The kit is meant for DDR5 compatible systems, and the build quality is solid. The sticks do have some weight to them so you can feel the build quality and they seem tough, (not that you will be hammering them) but just an expression that Crucial did a great job with this kit. Overall, I loved the feel, and how simple and user friendly it was to get them installed. If you are on the edge of upgrading and are thinking about it i say do it, if you are just in the process of building your own custom gaming set up and going with a DDR5 compatible motherboard this kit will take your gaming experience to the next level. You will only ask youself why you didn't do this sooner.

I cannot speak for every PC builder but this was the upgrade I needed. I only had one slot occupying my ram and believe me it was fast but nothing is faster than maxing out your slots. My previous PC was a DDR4. I upgraded to a DDR5 with one slot occupying a potential 4 slot tray. With this I tripled the speed of my ram and my gaming/ streaming potential. Install is easy for the tech savvy. And somewhat intermediate for the technically illiterate. Instructions were provided via QR code which led you to their website and an article giving you generic instructions on how to install RAM. I will say in order to even know if your computer is compatible with this product, you had to do research beforehand which could be a little tedious if you don't know where to go. I will say The instructions on how to install the product should not affect the overall rating of the performance of the product. As long as you do your proper research and buy a compatible part for your computer, you will be successful and upgrading your PC.
