This Crucial Pro OC Gaming 32GB kit is a pretty good value. WIth this kit you're getting a minimalist design with a subtle black heatspreader that can fit under most of the air coolers that I've used. My Fractal North case sits under my desk so I don't really need RGB on my RAM so the Crucial Pro OC Gaming kit fits the bill perfectly. One of the key features of this RAM kit is that it comes with both XMP 3.0 and EXPO profiles, and two profiles for each of these standards at that. One profile for each is configured for 6000 MT/s, CL36, and the other is 6400 MT/s, CL38. Since I am using a 7800X3D CPU, I figured that DDR5 6000 would be the sweet spot and that 6400 would be a stretch. Unfortunately that turned out to be true as the system would boot with the EXPO profile for 6400 but would hang without making it into Windows. On the plus side, the 6000 mhz EXPO profile works perfectly and even allowed me to reduce the pre-programmed 1.35v to 1.21v without causing instability. I'm still new to memory overclocking on the X870E platform so I'm not sure if this is a quirk of the platform or related to this Crucial Pro OC Gaming kit, but I couldn't get the RAM to post with any timings other than the ones in the EXPO profile. For the price of this Crucial Pro OC Gaming kit, you get competitive timings and a minimalist design. What really sells the kit is that you get both XMP and EXPO timings for use with either Intel or AMD platforms. Depending on silicon lottery for AMD CPUs you can take advantage of the 6400 MT/s EXPO profile, but even the 6000 CL36 profile works.

    Fast, stealth RAM

So much RAM these days is covered in LEDs or is the cheap stuff that can't hold up to the demands of high end gaming, it's hard to find a kit that is both high end and not covered in LEDs. Packaging: To start, it's packaged in basic plastic bubble pack. It doesn't really need better packaging but it would be nice if it had it just because they are attempting to appeal to the high end gaming segment. Installation: The RAM supports both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP so dropping it in to either type of system is an immediately recognized high end experience. No need to go adjust timings manually. It has excellent timings and that real speed that doesn't require multiplier splits to manage which causes more issues than performance. Performance: In a word, it's great, immediately recognized and improved performance across the entire system and being that it's 32GB in just two DIMMs means you can easily add 64GB total to most systems. Immediate improvements were seen in my Ryzen 7950X3D system which I've been struggling with the RAM in for years. Overall: Great ram, excellent price to performance ratio and that nice "stealth" look without all the extra LEDs. I'd recommend it easily.

    Great Memory for Gaming

This pack of 32GB Crucial Pro OC Gaming memory is a fantastic choice for gamers looking to add more memory to their gaming setups. This is a two pack of 16GB DDR5 6400MHz memory modules. They come with heatsinks pre-installed. In my experience, this is a fantastic set of memory modules. I noticed a definite increase in performance once installed. I got higher scores on my benchmarks and increased FPS on every game I tested out. Installation is quite easy if you have ever installed memory before. You just snap these right in to your memory slots on your motherboard and you're ready to go. Now, these are DDR5 modules, so you have to have a compatible motherboard. Once installed, there wasn't much to do, I just booted up my system and enjoyed the increased performance. Now, with the heatsinks, you should in theory be able to overclock these memory modules, but overclocking hasn't been my thing for a long time, so I wasn't able to test that out. But it's nice to know I can try if I am feeling adventurous. Overall I am very happy with these memory modules. They were easy to install and gave my gaming setup a significant performance boost.

The Crucial Pro DDR5 desktop memory is an excellent choice for those needing the best technology for today's multitasking, gaming and performance needs. The sticks of RAM are very solid, have built in heatsinks and perform very well. While they do not have any RGB or otherwise visually appealing aesthetics, they perform the same. No... RGB does not equal more frames. I am constantly amazed how much gaming technology advances. More and more games are requiring more GPU, CPU, RAM, better and faster hard drives etc. While DDR5 technology isn't technically "needed" to play today's games you will, at some point, want to upgrade. The performance is amazing and the multitasking capabilities are awesome. I can easily be playing a "AAA" game, while watching a stream and having several other programs running without issues. Install is simple...Just make sure you activate the XMP profile in your BIOS to get the full benefit of the DDR5 ram. However, the default speed settings are plenty sufficient if you're not comfortable messing with the BIOS. Overall, definitely recommend this RAM. Easily future proof your rig with this RAM.

You kinda just forget about RAM when it works as it should. Crucial has been a reliable brand from my experience, and this kit follows that trend superbly. 32GBs is the new 16GBs in today's machines with the more demanding nature of even relatively simple web-based tasks. I tend to keep a lot of tabs open at once when browsing the web, so more ram is an absolute must. To the point I am starting to think 32GBs is starting to be the minimum one should have installed. While I do not think everyone is in need of Over Clocked ultra highspeed ram, I think having at least 32GBs goes a long way in keeping a machine running a lot smoother and feeling more reliable. That said, if you're a gamer, you really want it fast to help cut down on load times etc. Don't forget to pair up with High Speed NVME Storage, and a CPU that can keep up with them both. Just having one fast part doesn't speed everything up. Remember memory training takes a little time, so first boot after installing this kit will take longer. That's normal and expected. Following reboots should be good and fast.

Not a terrible amount can be said about the Crucial Pro OC Gaming DDR5. It works. Without issue at the rated speeds on an X870 board with Expo I timings engaged. The only real downside and it isn't a fault of the ram and more the AMD platform is that timings are more important (or perhaps crucial) than straight speed. AMDs latest seem to hit their sweet spot at 6000mhz/mt speed with lower CAS latency. The DDR5 in this kit is 6400mhz/mt with a latency of CL38. That said the performance seemed indistinguishable from the Corsair Dominator Titanium 6000/CL30 I was using before hand. On an Intel platform the faster transfer speeds actually may be an improvement as Intel seems less bound by timings than AMD. What I do know is that the sticks in my pack have been stable as a rock and no weirdness that sometimes happens with OC RAM. There isn't any RGB madness to be had as these are no-nonsense. Because they lack the visual frills they are a great value and easy recommend. Crucial did us a solid with these.

    Great higher speed ram kit!

Great ram kit, not always going to run at full EXPO speeds with every AMD board due to memory sensitivity but I was able to run it at the convenient second EXPO profile with my cheap chinese ITX board (6000 CL36), and my main X870 board can run it at the main 6400 CL38 profile without too much hassle. Having 2 profiles is great for lower end boards, I would imagine you could tweak the timings a bit, but I wanted to review it at EXPO settings. Going from a 5600 CL36 kit to this kit at EXPO 6400 CL38, I saw about a 5% increase in a few games, that I run at 2k at more competitive settings, but I run most games at 4K on my 7900XTX (This type of memory kit is for those wanting to move CPU/platform bottlenecks at 1080p with high FPS to their GPU, only really needed with a top tier GPU) Crucial has always been a solid choice for me, I’ve been building PC’s since 2004, and I’ve had a few SSDs and a bunch of RAM kits from them, and I’ve never had a bad kit from them, and they’ve always run at the stated speeds. (as long as I’m not trying it on a junk board, but you’ll usually spend less on RAM on a junk board) This is a great choice for a new build or an upgrade from slow cheap DDR5!

The Crucial Pro 32 GB 6400 MHZ Memory is an absolute game changer for my gaming PC. It allows for a much smoother gaming experience and also allows for me to run other applications while gaming on my four-monitor system, such as other gaming engines and IDE while utilizing the PC for gaming. Just like with any other memory, I shut down the computer, unplugged it from the power, took out the previous memory, and installed the new memory. Turned the PC back on, and made sure it was recognized in the BIOS, and then once it was recognized, I made sure it was recognized in the O.S., and we were in business. This was a very simple process overall, and it took just a couple of minutes to install and get to work right away. This memory allows for me to really maximize the full potential of my CPU, to the extent I think I'm going to purchase another 32 GB, just so I can that much more memory for all of the applications I use on a regular basis. I have used other Crucial hardware before and they've all performed wonderfully. I am very happy and would highly recoomend this to anyone that is looking for some better performance out of their PC.
