Worth every dime. Quick and accurate reads and writes, heat wellin the limits and easy to install thanks to nice Geek Squad manager who provided me with the appropriate screw. Thanks Best Buy South Charleston, WV!
Never had a Crucial product fail on me and been at this for 40 years.
I'll buy this again!

I am a faithful brand loyalist of Crucial. I know they were the industry leader in the early days of SSD. They came up with thermal throttling and the writing algorithm that spreads data around the drive to reduce wear.

Set up was easy as ever and the price for 2tb of storage and the read/write speed is great! Crucial has never failed me. It is a very reliable brand and am happy so far with any product I buy from them!

The Crucial T500 M.2 SSD is extremely fast and the 2 TB of storage gives my gaming computer a lot more storage.
I was running out of room on my 500GB M.2 SSD so this 2TB added to my computer gives me so much more room. Adding it as a second SSD was quick and easy. It needed formatting and then it was good to go.
Using it as a 2nd SSD, instead of the primary, meant I didn't have to install Windows or do any cloning.
Games take a lot of space to run and I had been putting off getting a few games because I tire of having to decide which to uninstall in order to have room for a new one and repeat when I'm ready to play the old one again. The 2TB on this SSD gives me plenty of room to add those games and space for more in the future.
I highly recommend Crucial SSD's as I've been using them for years in my computers and laptops and have never had a problem. This one, Crucial - T500 2TB Internal SSD PCIe Gen 4X4 NVMe M.2, is blazing fast, the size is great and it's a quick easy install to improve your computer.

I decided to install this on a new computer build I was doing. The hard drive so far is performing super well. Prior to this hard drive, I had 2 samsung m2 drives installed, one 960 Evo and one 960 Pro. I ran a few benchmarking programs to get a sense of the difference in the 3 hard drives.
While the samsungs performed pretty good, this Crucial T500 almost doubled the speeds in both directions, in comparison to the other two drives.
After setup I installed some games and ran them to see if the speed felt any better, as well as some video editing softwares. I personally feel this drive has improved the load times of a few of my games and one in particular doesnt seem as laggy as it normally would while running. The performance of my video editing software also feels it is moving with a little more pep than before.
specs:
m.2 2280 SSD
sequencial reads/writes *up to (7,400/7,000MB/s)
5 year limited warranty
This is a pretty fast hard drive and you wont be disappointed if you pick one up.

[PROS]
High-End Speeds: With read/writes speeds topping out at 7,400 MB/s and 7,000MB/s respectively, this SSD is a powerhouse. Theoretical specs are one thing, but what about real world tests? Fortunately, I can report that these speeds are more than just theory. My testing primarily focused on conducting file transfers operations and observing behavior during gameplay sessions. I found myself impressed with how the drive performed in both areas compared to other comparable Gen 4 SSDs that I own. While gaming, I noticed that the T500 shaved off a few seconds in comparison to my other drives that are in the 5,500 - 7500 MB/s range when it comes to read and write speeds. To top everything off, performance never dipped even after a couple of hours of doing different tasks.
Excellent Thermals: Along with maintaining great performance, the SSD never exceeded 55 degrees Celsius once I applied a heatsink. The T500 managed to stay cool even while I went about gaming and other tasks without breaking a sweat.
[CONS]
I'm drawing a blank.... Any mention of anything else might be nitpicking. This doesn't come with a heatsink so that would be a minor inconvenience. Otherwise, I'm more than satisfied with it.
]CONCLUSION]
The Crucial T500 is a perfect blend of power and performance. It's replaced my main SSD drive, and I'm waiting for an external version of this product.
