Best Buy had the best price, no shipping cost. I have always been satisfied with the store, I could pick it up at the store, but shipping is more convenient, and delivery is the next day. I can count on that. Oh, the speed is 2 GB/s! R/W.

Compared to my nvme in an external enclosure, this is smaller, cooler, and feels sturdier. Yes it's nearly impossible to use its full speed currently with very few usb 3.2 2x2 connectors out there, but it's nice that it's there if/when I upgrade to something that can use it.

Fast External Backups

However, I eventually realized the pros didn't make up for the speed. While pricey, this 4TB SSD is ridiculously small and very, very fast. It takes under 30 minutes to back up what used to take hours. The only real con is that you may lose this drive if you take it out of the house.
