Just What I Needed

I needed an external harddrive that would let me play the larger games that my computer couldn't hold and it does exactly that!

Sweet little portable SSD

I didn’t know they even made a thing like this for so long until I got sick of carrying 15 SD cards on me with my camera gear all the time. It’s shockingly durable too, It’s dropped out of my camera bag a couple times and still works as intended. I suggest storing it in a zippered backpack pocket/bag because it is quite slippery.

Very Affordable External SSD

When a customer's budget won't allow me to opt for SanDisk's NVMe option, I go for Crucial. I haven't used them long enough to test their reliability, but so far, I haven't had any complaints from my customers.

Best SSD for the price

1TB seems faster than 2TB

Bought 2TB model, and find 1TB subjectively faster, at least in my backup scenario with 200k+ files. Do not copy all those files frequently, once every month, so it does not matter.

Great but not with xbox one

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's pretty darn good - the only thing that bothered me was I tried to use it with my xbox one and then go back to using it on my pc, and for whatever reason, it deleted everything I had downloaded from my pc when I did that. When I tried to play my games and such on my pc, nothing was there, my pc didn't want to recognize Crucial, and then I had to redownload everything. So it is a great storage device, but I would consider that a bug - just don't try to switch devices with it lol.
