1TB storge in such a small device is hard to complain about. Worked very well for my project.

Great portable storage device! So small & fast! I had been using the WD Passports for external back up hard drives when there was too much for a USB, such as saving pictures & videos. This is so much smaller & works great!

This drive is actually native USB-C but includes an adapter for USB-3. I’m using it to host Linux in a dual boot mode with Windows and the performance is excellent! Boot to Internet is about 40 seconds which is on par with my Windows boot running on the primary laptop SSD.

Extremely compact and powerful at a very reasonable price, The size of two thumb drives. Ten years ago, this would have been the size of a basket ball and cost two month's pay. More extra portable storage than I'll ever need!

This is a really good external SSD. Fast transfer and small size makes it really good for a portable SSD. 1TB is great size. You can add thousand of pictures and videos. A great way to extend your laptop or desktop HDD size.

I needed extra storage for all my large files, photos and videos. Works like a charm and small and light enought to travel on long trips.

I travel alot and this is the best lightweight and high storage capacity.

Works great - plug n play with an older Win7 system - Fast as well. All my data on external drive and now backed up. Cheap enough to have gotten another and now have proper back up in place. Best Buy sent both drives safely and in a couple of days. Happy customer

I really like this little SSD - price was right too - just plugged it in and the OS instantly recognized it. Now I have 1 TB for all my games. The small USB connection is plenty fast and I like the small size, less than 3" square.

This crucial external hard drive works great. This was bought for gameplay and it serves its purpose well. All my games loaded on it have great speed with no lag. I'd recommend this to anyone who needs a little extra space. I also had great customer service with picking the right one.

Love this little hard drive. We were renting a house while our new home was being built and with all the paperwork accumulating on my laptop; I needed something to back it up on. This little HD did the trick and boy is it fast.

The hard drive is a good price which makes me good on the purchase. And 1 terabyte is a great amount of space for the price too

I picked up this drive to store my PS4 games for my PS5 to free up the internal drive for actual PS5 games. Since it's an SSD, it loads games faster than a standard HDD drive would, but I don't have benchmarks to say exactly by how much. The PS5 had no problem recognizing it, and this drive will also work for storing Xbox One/360 games for playing backwards-compatible games on the Series X and S. It's nice to have an extra 1 TB of space with how large video game installs are getting. Note that I bought this before the update went live when you can add an internal PCIe 4.0 SSD drive to the PS5, so it might be worth looking at those if the price isn't much higher than this. If you go that route, you can install PS5 games directly to the 4.0 SSD drive and play them, but you cannot play PS5 games or Series X|S games directly off this external drive.

I have been using this drive for about 19 months without any problems. It's very reliable, very compact. Highly recommend. I have been using Crucial products for about 20 years, memory DIMMS, SSDs - I have never had a problem with their products.
