Great value drive, but not the fastest. Value drive, not a speed demon.

So far so good. I was able to put files on it. Hopefully I will be able to retrieve them when I need them.

Decent cheap external ssd. For some reason has issues when connected to my laptop will not recognize if computer is restarted without disconnecting. First time I’ve had this type of issue with an external drive.

Using this drive to run my pc games and loving how fast they run.

These things are horrendous. Genuinely unsure how it has so many good reviews. I can only assume these people don't use these things for large files. I was trying to transfer a 500gb project to it from a cfexpress type b card. Starts at around 700mbps then within 15 seconds drops to 50mbps for the rest of the transfer. Takes forever. Terrible cache performance, which makes it literally slower than my disc hard drives. Terrible, terrible performance.

Purchased as an early christmas present to use as external storage with a ps5, works great!

No hardware 256 encryption like what I normally get on a SanDisk flash drive; for 2tb SSD that should have been the reality.

The worst hard drive ever. Bought this hard drive twice and both of them stop working and thankfully I had everything backed up on another drive. Don't ever buy this drive. Crucial x6 is the worst.

It works okay for what you are looking for. I would say average.

I bought this to backup my laptop. I works fine, but is slower then other SDD drives.

Pretty decent for xbox use. Easy to install, literally took seconds.

I got this drive for its size and because it is an SSD. However, only a few weeks in, it became unresponsive and would not show up on any device I plugged it into.

I initially purchased the SSD for a good speed and reliable backup for my professional photos and videos and to free up space on my iPad Pro. The first drive failed within 24 hours but I chalked it up to just a manufacturer error and exchanged it. I’m now about 2 months into ownership of the second one and this one has now failed with a lot of data on it, hopefully I can pull the data off using my desktop but this is incredibly frustrating and I would not recommend having to go through this

The SSD gets hot quick and becomes very slow (seemingly forever)

Check your transfer speeds if you get this drive. I did, and the transfer speeds quickly drop down to those slower than a modern portal HDD (as in not an SSD). Also, the included USB A adapter limits the transfer speeds to USB 2.0 speeds. These speeds completely defeat the purpose of buying an SSD. I returned it immediately.

The drive crashed after only 3 weeks. Luckily I was able to save the content and had backups. Realize disappointed with durability and longevity. This drive was recommended by a Best Buy tech and I wish I would’ve trusted my gut. Have spoken to other IT pros that say the brand is decent but external drives are a new space for them so they aren’t reliable yet.

This is not compatible with the ps5 dont get me wrong its really thin.

Great size, storage and speed I'm a photographer who does all of my editing off this external ssd and it's imporved my workflow so much, it's smaller than a cell phone and super light so you can take it anywhere and extremely fast and responsive, definitely worth it especially for the price
