Fast Drive! Very impressive performance with a good price.

I was blown away with how fast this drive backed up 9gb of music files..and backing up my laptops total contents was done before I could finish a cup of coffee. I like the size and shape that fits any pocket without being obtrusive. Money well spent. (I can't say that on every purchase in my life)

Works good, perfect for what i have needed it for, no issues.

My goal was incorporate this drive into my network via the USB port of one of my network routers after formatting this SSD using the Crucial software package. It worked greater with my computer but none of my routers could read it. At that point I was getting ready to take it back for a refund. I used the Windows formatting tool this time. Then I wrote a small folder to the drive and tried it again into the USB port of one of my routers - it worked fine! My recommendation if you’re using a router that’s 3 years old or older format this drive with your Windows software, write a file to it, and see if you can access it on your network. If you format with the Crucial software it may work fine with your computer but not your router USB port. Also pay attention to the cable and USB adapter orientation. It will work 1 way. This X6 has an input buffer that works great on small file transfers but not on large transfers. If you’re moving larger files the transfer speed is limited by that input buffer AND your network. But it is faster than a HDD on your network. Bottom line I’d certainly buy another after learning how to use the first one. It’s a great value, small size, and will be super fast for ordinary tasks like flipping through digitized photos. And as a SSD it won’t use a lot of energy. If you get one with the intent on plugging it into an older routers USB port, use Windows to format it. The Crucial software is very useful. The drive has a temperature sensor in it that the software reports on. You can also investigate the drives health thoroughly. I’m glad I didn’t return it.

Small outside. Lots of storage inside. I bought a 1TB and a 2TB for ISOs, backups, and recovery files and still had so much space left over that I gave the 1TB device to my son. Crucial makes a great inexpensive product that easily fits in a shirt pocket and is easy to carry anywhere. So when size matters, and you need a lot of space but not a lot of bulk, this product does extremely well.

I got the 2TB variant and it performs great. I just wish the 4TB version was cheaper because I could have used that extra space later on down the road. Oh well, in a couple of years 4TB SSDs will be cheap, I just wish that time was now. I use this as a media player drive in the minivan for the kids. I originally used a standard rotating hard drive but the last bumpy road to grandmas house did it in for good. So I headed over to BestBuy to get this SSD drive. It loads so much quicker than what I had before and I do not need to worry about the rough/bumpy car ride damaging it.

Its a great drive to store games and easy connections and high speed transfers

I love the size of this drive. I call it a pebble. I have purchased a couple of these and one I keep attached to my laptop, even have it held with a strip of velcro so its always with my laptop. But its small size makes it not really an issue.

This storage drive is awesome, downright awesome. So much more space. I got this device so I could download ARK on my laptop, this thing gave me that and more. On a laptop. I love it so much.

This is an incredibly small SSD with speeds up to 800 mb it’s a reliable SSD too. Crucial has been in the SSD game for awhile so it’s refreshing to see them try something new. This portable SSD barely weights anything at all, I personally use it for my Steam deck and chrome book. It’s fitting for the tech we have at our disposal today. Amazing product! Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Small and super compact to have around. Gave as christmas presents to my grandkids to make room on their fones and use for storage of their pocs and vids. Highly recommend

I love the Crucial - X6 SE 2TB External USB-C/USB-A Portable SSD - Black. Its compact size and portability make it incredibly convenient. In addition, it comes with a USB extension for compatibility with older computers.

This 2TB external SSD is tiny, roughly the size of a credit card. It's plenty fast and is able to keep up with large 10GB video file projects during transfers. I get around 300-400Mb/s which is fast enough that I'm not waiting around for things to backup. Crucial/Micron is a good and reliable brand been using them for many years no failures.
