I can run all my games off of it smoothly and have had no issues downloading anything to it. It works great and I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a good ssd.

Great drive for small files

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This drive is a great all-around external drive, unfortunately it's using SLC caching (which for the 2TB is actually quite large). Basically it has a really fast buffer of around 200 GB for the 2TB model, but once that fills up it slows to the performance of a external HDD, so still serviceable. If you don't transfer large amounts of data at once, it's a solid, very pocketable external SSD! Unfortunately it didn't fit my needs. If you're looking for something to store and edit photos/videos off of, I highly recommend the Samsung T7 series. Pros: -Super small, fits into the coin pocket on most pants. -Comes with a C-to-C cable with a C-to-A adapter. -Great storage-to-price ratio. -It's a Crucial/Micron product, it'll last. Cons: -QLC SSD with SLC caching, though the cache is 200GB for the 2TB model, once that runs out, it slows to a crawl. -Software that Crucial offers for managing the drive is pretty bad on Windows 11.

It works really well for this purpose. The drive is fast, and the size is great! I was surprised at how small it was.

Could be any number of faults though, so i dont blame the product, great harddrive!
