Compact, easy to use at a value price. My non-tech husband figured it out on his own. He primarily uses it to store his large movie collection in a portable format.

Using this for external storage for my series x XBOX. Read and write speeds are FAST ! Would highly recommend this for application. Just plug in and format for games or videos (gameplay) . It wont do both but that xbox fault not storage

I've been using an external SSD drive as my main macOS boot drive on my 2018 Mac mini for a few years now. Unfortunately a few weeks ago, the drive I had been using failed (Google "Samsung T7 leaking" - it's crazy!). I needed a replacement ASAP and there was no way I was going to give Samsung any more of my business. I've always been a fan of Crucial's memory products and had never heard anything bad about their SSDs so I decided to give them a shot. Luckily the 2TB Crucial X8 happened to be on sale for a ridiculously low price and Best Buy had it delivered the very next day! While the specs are similar to the Samsung T7 drive it replaced, I am finding that the transfer speeds on the Crucial X8 are slightly faster. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

What a Hard Drive! This unit is Cheap, Very Large, and Extremely Fast! It speeded up my computer, and gave me lots of new space. Great for Video, and recording music. Love it! Comes with software on drive to copy your old Hard Drive.

My father has several older hard drives he stores important info on, he just loved how this drive is so small and fast, and is replacing the older drives for this one.

This is my go to when I need to save important files or pictures. Its fast and works well with my iPad pro.

This external SSD has been working well for me. I have used it to store pictures, movies, and games. It has a fast read/write speed, so it is even possible to play games directly from it. I also appreciate that this particular model includes a USB-C/USB-A adaptor so it is more flexible in terms of USB port usability.

Got a great price to use external drive for laptop backups. Crucial makes a good drive for the price. Gave to myself for christmas present.

Good solid product but you must reformat to fat32 before connecting to xbox or it will not format on the system in anything other than being able to hold music and screen capture.

Absolutely great performance for the price. I’ve never had an issue with products from Crucial, and in my experience, their products only continue to get better. To be fair Western Digital makes great products too and their products are usually faster, but Crucial always hits that sweet spot for price and performance and that is great for all consumers.
