I have used the 2TB Crucial drive for Time Machine backup for my M4 Pro MacBook Pro. It is very frustrating that every month or so I have to reformat the Crucial SSD because Time Machine runs into problems with this during backups. First I thought it was X9 so I got the X10 Pro. But it's the same with both drives. I have researched it and it appears many others with Crucial Drives have a similar problem during Time Machine backups. Many users say it has to do with USB compatibility issues between Crucial drives and Apple silicon Macs. If that is the case, it seems to me Crucial should be able to fix that easily. Why they haven't is puzzling. I like the drive: it's compact, really fast, and has a good warranty (3 years for X9 and 5 for X10 Pro) so it's a shame that this issue exists for Mac users. As of now, I am looking for a more Mac-friendly and reliable drive.

Purchased as an add-on to my Mac mini M4 Pro. Works fantastic would buy again.

I use this external drive to make image backups of my laptop drive while traveling. It is a very compact and solid little drive. It is also very fast. It is a quality item at a budget price!

It is good size, very small for 2TB. Very quite and fast. I just need to get a small head case for protection. The price is right, and i just hope it last long since i will save lots of family stuffs. So far so good. I am happy buer. Thanks to Bestbuy for this good price.

As a photographer, I take many, MANY photos during my shoots and having to transfer them would take such a long time. With this, I just transfer them from my SD card to my PC and just move them to this drive in no time! Super small and compact and takes barely any space in my camera bag. Highly recommend!

I didn't expect this to be so small -- the cable is bigger than the actual drive and the cable isn't all that long. Despite the small size, this thing works great. I needed another external drive to backup data in my lab and this works perfectly with my Mac. And it's super fast.

This became my new backup drive to be used with Acronis. I was surprised at its small size

I was very happy with the product and service I received from Best Buy. I work from home and my computer crashed and while I do routine back ups, there was some information I added between my last back up and the crash that was very important. Best Buy suggested this product and it was easy to use and their Geek Squad helped pull the information off the old computer and even loaded it onto this device for me. Outstanding!
