With music piling up in my laptop, i began looking for portable SSDs to store music. Needed something that has a quick read/write speed, quick to use, and reliable. I stubbled upon this SSD on display at my local BEST BUY on SALE at Black Friday and immediately ordered one. By far one of the best investments i've made. It's very quick and easy to use. My only regret was not getting one sooner. Will definitely recommend.

This ssd rocks! Crucial is reliable! Doesn't overheat, super fast, I boot games and large apps directly from this external. Flawless, and tiny. Buying 4Tb next.

I bought this to be the external storage for my new MacBook Air. Over the years I've bought several external drives and this one, by far, was the easiest to set up and use. I also love that it's so small. Almost the size of my car's key fob. I just wish it were less expensive.

I saw this on sale and did a little research. Everything seemed fine, so I ordered one. Before using any hardware, I make sure the firmware is up to date. Using Crucial's official software, it refused to recognize or update the firmware. I tried multiple cables on 3 different laptops and got the same Javascript error on all of them.
I also was not getting anywhere close to the 1000Mbps speeds advertised. Again, I tried mutliple cables and devices.
I wanted to like this one. The build quality was solid and I liked the dust/shock/water protection, but if I am getting a fraction of the advertised speeds (which is the whole point of an SSD) then it serves no purpose to me.
I ended up returning and exchanging for a Samsung T7.
Best Buy also needs to make sure their online availability matches their in-store inventory. All SSDs were out of stock in-store despite their website saying multiple wete available.
