The SSD purchased almost 3 months ago seems to be working well.

THIS IS JUST THE RIGHT SIZE. I PURCHASED A LITTLE POUCH THAT STICKES ON THE BACK OF MY IPAD AND MY DELL LAPTOP AND THIS LITTLE HARDDRIVE GOES EVERYWHERE WITH ME. BEST BUY HAD A GREAT SALE PRICE AS ALWAYS.

I use this for my Sunday school materials. I haven't tried it on DVDs yet which I'm sure will be fine.

This is a really great extension for my MacBook Pro. It's a great way to keep large video files without filling up the internal drive. I have run into the limitations of the speed of transfer though, as there's a slight lag if you are processing a video on Adobe Premiere Pro straight from the external drive. If you are using the Lumetri presets, it will take a second for the processing to catch up. Outside of this minor limitation, this is a great external drive.

Works great and way smaller than expected. Only comes with a very short usb-c cord but decent enough.

I use these to backup my home business and personal computer. One drive for each. It is very easy to use. I have not had any problems with them.

Use this for editing videos on the go. Holds so much and so far is super fast and no issues. Not trusting Sandisk anytime soon after their failing SSDs so Crucial seems pretty solid.

Not sure what is going on, but this did not have transfer speeds remotely close to what you would expect from a SSD. I have an Aurora r8 and used a usb c port with multiple different brands of max speed cables, but transfers were commonly only in the kbs range and maxed out very infrequently in the 30 mbs range. I used a usb c thumbdrive and speeds jumped significantly. The difference confirmed that the port was not malfunctioning. The only possible "weak" link was the cable, but I tried literally 6 different cables and all were consistently in the same range regardless of whether they were classed as "fast" cables or not. VERY disappointed!! Given that other reviews were so positive, maybe I just received a bad unit. I will contact Crucial/Micron and update this review if it turns out that there was a problem with the unit.

Perfect for my new Mac mini M4. Super fast speeds. No complaints.

I purchased this drive after much research. Today, I tried to use it. I tried to go to the manufacturers website with the included QR code, but only received an error page. I tried to go to the website to get support on how to properly install and backup to the drive, but there is very little information besides the driver downloads. Upon more research on the manufacturers website and many error pages, it appears they have stopped making this line of products completely and are shutting down the entire branch of their business. I just spent a large sum of money for this drive, I will be very upset if there will not be ongoing support or warranty for this product. They claim on the website that they will, but already they have deleted information from all of the support pages. There is no longer anything about how to actually use the backup drive. I will probably be returning the drive for something else. The worst part is I was planning to backup my laptop before a trip in two days and I will be gone for three weeks with no time to deal with this!
