I really like the Cube GPS tracker. The reason is simple it gives me a peace of mind, our youngest son is a Type 1 diabetic and in college. We previously had a “tracker” through a company that was related to his phone. And it worked well until one night he left and did not have a charger and his phone died, needless to say we didn’t get much sleep that night. I had been looking at something in the field like the Cube and was excited when I received it. I still am!
I like the fact that it is placed on his vehicle and using the Cube in conjunction w/ his phone we now have a peace of mind that if (God forbid) he has a medical emergency and his phone is not charged we will at least now where his vehicle is.
The App was easy to install and the payment went through w/ out any difficulties, and it is very easy to use. Once I got past the problem of my VPN not allowing me to connect to the Cube itself, we installed it on his car under the hood and it has worked very well. The App lets us know when the battery is in need of a charge which is VERY helpful.
He took his vehicle in for service and the mechanic asked him what it was and my son explained the situation and he was impressed w/ the Cube Tracker, to the point he asked about how to purchase it. For our son, our family it not only gives us a piece of mind its well worth the cost. It has NEVER lost contact and once we open the App and go to the map it tells us exactly where he is.
I don’t have any fear of the Cube tracker becoming dislodged through normal driving at all due to the powerful magnet that Cube uses to connect the device to what you want to track. It is very easy to setup, very easy to install, and well worth the monthly cost to have the peace of mind that we have.
If you are looking for a reliable GPS Vehicle Tracker, I highly recommend the Cube. It is lightweight, not very big and again, its very accurate and reliable.

Professioanl GPS Tracking for Cars, Campers, etc.

The Cube GPS is a business grade vehicle tracker, it uses a mix of GPS and cell service to track and report back - so it requires a monthly subscription to work. Great accuracy, best suited to those who have a business or legitimate security reason to always know where the location of their car.
-= In the Box =-
In the box is the Cube Pro GPS tracker and a micro USB C cable. Getting the most out of the Cube tracker requires the free Cube app (but registration is required).
-= First Impressions =-
The Cube Pro is heavy and kind of big - weighing a little over half a pound and about the size of an iPhone but has no screen other than a LED power light. It's got a double array of magnets of one side for fixing it to your car, trailer, camper, etc. the micro USB C charging point has a waterproof rubber plug. I do wish it was USB C. I was going to take a photo, but it's just a black rectangle and it looks exactly like you see on the site.
-= Setup =-
Setup was relatively easy. You need to setup an account on the Cube app - Email, password, done. There's no 2FA which I think is a miss given this is a tracker and you wouldn't want someone to hack your account and disable it. The box tells you to charge for 5-6 hours before use, which I duly did given I wanted to see just how long the cube could last.
To add the Cube to your phone you have to scan the barcode on the Cube. This wouldn't scan for me and I had to manually enter the Cube serial number. Important and a bit of information here - there is no backup print anywhere in the box of the serial number. I'm not sure how easy it would be to re-pair the Cube if the sticker disappeared, so make a note of it somewhere safe.
-= What's Good =-
The Cube is weather proof. The magnets are collectively the strongest I have seen - there's 20 of them. In my tests (car) there was no risk it would become detached, fall off. And it even held up well in some of the awful rain and mild flooding we had.
All of the real magic happens in the app, the app is sophisticated.
- you can share the device across family (great if family members all want to track the same car)
- you can set a virtual fence (safe zones) of where things can travel without alerts
- you can view location history and check battery health
- you can download the location history
- you can ring the Cube
There isn't something I can think of that they missed or forgot as a feature.
On the subscription cost, I will add that you can subscribe monthly and annually. Annually comes with a discount. I won't comment on the subscription price other than to say you should check you're getting the value you need - but if you have teenagers or like me, commute and leave your car in a car lot known for vehicle theft, the Cube is great peace of mind.
-= What's Not So Good =-
The Cube ring sound is the only real surprise. Despite the size and weight, the ring sound is equivalent to a AirTag or Tile tracker. Chirpy, hard to hear and in a car park where elevation means you could be on any floor and be wandering aimless trying to find your car. Cube really need to work on some way to amplify the volume (it's a static volume, cannot be adjusted). I expected a better sound.
I'm not sure what cell phone network Cube uses. I didn't see a loss of coverage even when driving through known dead cell service zones. Not sure if that's "smarts" or it network hops.
And as with all my product reviews, it would be 100x better if this was USB C instead of a micro USB charger. That said, you can use your OBD port or hardwire it to power if you were using the Cube for trucking or logistics purposes.
-= Final Thoughts =-
The Cube tracker is not for everyone. It's best suited to business, commercial, professional use. I think I'll use it on mainly on my camper over the summer on a month to month basis. So for peace of mind over the summer, I think the Cube is worth the monthly price and the subscription.

What A Great Product!!

I was excited about the opportunity to try out the Cube GPS Vehicle Tracker. For some time, I had been looking for a way to keep track of our delivery driver while she is out and about. Not to make sure she wasn’t going places she shouldn’t, but to make sure I knew where she was in case something happened. The Cube seemed the perfect solution.
When the Cube arrived, I was impressed with the simple yet rugged design of its packaging. No frills, no attempt to distract from the product…just a simple, well-thought-out design to keep the Cube safe during shipping. The Cube comes with the GPS tracking unit, a charging cord, quick-start guide, and a neat Cube decal.
According to the Quick Start Guide, it is recommended to charge the Cube fully prior to use. So, using the included charging cable I connected it to a charger and went about my business. A few hours later I came back and it was fully charged. I mention this only because I was somewhat expecting it to take at least overnight due to its one-year battery life. According to the instructions, it is first necessary to download and install the Cube app. This was amazingly easy and simple. Absolutely nothing complicated. What I really appreciate about the setup is that the app is so easy to figure out, for not only is it so intuitive, but you are walked through everything step-by-step. For example, the virtual fence feature…once you navigate to the Settings window, all you need to do is scroll down to the virtual fence option, click on it, and immediately you see a circle outlining a 400m diameter. You drag it to where you want, increase or decrease the diameter, click on “Done,” and you’re done. You can adjust the virtual fence from 200m all the way out to 5000m. So, anytime the vehicle either enters or leaves the “fence,” an alert is sent to your phone. And this can all be figured out quickly and intuitively.
After having explored the app and fully charging the battery, I put the Cube through its initial test. The Cube powers on using a small button on the side, located right next to the charging port. Once it is turned on, there is no worrying about being sure to turn it off when not being used as it boasts a one-year battery life. You then connect it to the app, and you’re ready to go. So, after powering everything on, I placed it in the glove compartment of the van, and the delivery driver went about her business.
Throughout the day I checked her whereabouts frequently. As I became more acquainted with the app’s functionality, I discovered there are basically two different location-reporting options…you can set it to report location every minute to every several minutes, or you can live-track in real time. I initially opted for location reporting every 10 minutes. Sure enough, every ten minutes I received the driver’s location via the app. I then set it to report every one minute. And like clockwork, it reported her location every minute. I was most interested however in the live tracking. Switching between reporting cycles is super easy, and as uncomplicated as you can get. As you are tracking the Cube in the app, you watch via a map. The map is surprisingly accurate as it shows landmarks that have only recently been constructed. But my point is that on the map interface, you have the ability to simply touch the “Live” icon, and it immediately switches to live tracking. See…simple and easy!
To test out the accuracy and timeliness of the Cube, I was in frequent contact with the driver to compare her location with where the Cube indicated. There was very little in the way of lag. At one point as I was checking, the app indicated the driver was coming up a street that passed by my location. I went outside, and sure enough, there the van was passing by.
As I mentioned earlier, you are able to create a virtual fence. The fence has two options…you can use it to advise you if the vehicle roams outside a set boundary, or you can use it to advise you if the vehicle enters a certain boundary. For example, if you want to make sure the vehicle (or other asset) stays within a certain area, the app will alert you if and when the asset leaves that area. I can see where this would be good for construction equipment, making sure your spouse or children are where they are supposed to be, and so forth. This function worked perfectly. The very minute the driver entered the fence I set in the app, I was alerted. As soon as she left, I was again alerted.
In every way, The Cube GPS Vehicle Tracker performed exactly as it was supposed to perform. After several days of testing, we experienced no glitches or hiccups, and location info was always accurate. I was a bit concerned how it might perform in the high heat we have been experiencing lately. The Cube is designed to alert you if it gets too hot. Even in 100-degree temperatures, it did not overheat. The Cube is solid, well-designed, and rugged. It is amazingly accurate and reports exactly according to the parameters you set. Battery life? We’ve been using it for several days now, and the battery is still at full charge. I love the fact that on the location overlay on the map, the battery level is clearly displayed, so there is no worrying about how much battery life is left… you will always know.
My experience with the Cube GPS Vehicle Tracker has been nothing short of great. This is a product that does exactly what it is designed to do, and it does it supremely well. If you are looking for a superior vehicle or other asset location tracker, this is the perfect choice!!

This gps cube works great! I was skeptical that it would actually give accurate gps locations without WiFi connection but it truly does! It even has service when my phone has no service. It is awesome!
I’ve had it about 1 month & battery percentage has barely moved from 100%.

I bought this tracker because a "friend" stole my truck. This tracker works GREAT! It is completely accurate, it's got a long lasting battery, and the magnet is super strong. I attached my CUBE tracker inside against the bed wall behind the back seats in my truck to keep it out of sight. I wouldn't recommend putting it on the outside, it's not waterproof. Overall, this is an excellent product

Our house was robbed earlier in the year, cameras showed us it was people we knew; but they left town.
Police wouldn't do anything to track them or our property down, so we fed some misinformation to a friend of theirs about some new items and we put the cube gps in them and arranged to be away from home.
We had let their friend know we would be away for the night. The cube tracker kept me updated that it was ok, and when they showed up in the middle of the night and took the new stuff, the cube let us know when it went on the move, left our home and gave us regular updates on it's location; exact address location listed and also on the map.
We patiently waited for them to get to their location for the night, and into the next day, to be sure this was where they were hiding out. Then we went with our police re
port from home, our video and drove to the police station that covered their location and explained what had happened and provided our evidence.
Those police went with us and allowed us to recover our belongings. They arrested them and contacted the police in our jurisdiction to discuss sending them back.
The GPS Tracker Pro did all it was supposed to; it attached easily, reported regularly and the battery is still holding up well on the same charge we started out with.
Had we just waited on the authorities to do their homework, we'd still be waiting and hoping to recover our belongget our property back.
We plan on buying more Cube Trackers to attach to our lawn equipment, tractors and equipment trailers! We are very happy with it,s performance!

Very Useful Well Made Device!

The Cube GPS Pro Tracker is a well-thought-out and useful device. What stands out to me about it is that it has GPS, Bluetooth and an LTE connection. The combination of these three wireless technologies make it an accurate tracking device on par with your cell phone. This Tracking device is pretty good sized about the size and shape of a portable SSD hard drive. So it is not made for smaller forms of transportation. Cube makes other models for those things. However, for automobiles and off-road vehicles like a side by side SXS or boats the size is good because that means a bigger battery and longer battery life.
The functionality of the Cube GPS Pro tracker is similar to that of Google's timeline feature on Google Maps. The GPS Pro lets you go to the year month and day you want to look at and offers written locations with street names addresses and latitudinal and longitudinal Global positioning coordinates. One thing that is different is the Cube has the ability to update coordinates every minute then it goes to 2 minutes, 3 minutes, 5 minutes and 10 minutes. I tried it on the every-minute setting and that is a little too often or more often than is necessary. I would like to see a way to condense the locations instead of it showing the same location line after line you could choose the condensed setting and have it display the time you were at each location instead of it showing that location line after line for the time you are there. That would refine the app. The Cube app and online website both let you look at your tracks on a map which is very cool. This is also something I am used to having with Google Maps. While you are in the app you touch your device or the device you want to view if you have multiple Cube devices and it opens a screen with a map view and shows you the current location of the device. Then if you tap location history it shows you your tracks with a blue line on the map or you can pull up from the bottom to view turn-by-turn written out location history. The Cube GPS Pro has not missed a beat in tracking. You can mount it anywhere and it will work. Personally, I would mount it somewhere where it can not get wet at all. The Cube GPS Pro also has a live tracking feature although I had a little trouble getting that feature to be consistent. I had to try it several times before it worked for some reason. It may have been due to the cellular connection or lack of one due to interference or something. I also noticed that the tracking lines do not always follow the road you are on they may show you going in the right direction but be off to the side of the road quite a ways at times. I have seen this happen on other systems as well and I am not sure what causes it yet. It does however have a cool slide at the bottom that will show what time you were at different locations on the map. I really like that feature and you can pull up the bottom for the written out info on your phone and match it up to the time on your PC with the map open on your PC. You can also put the map in satellite view on your phone with the app but I did not see a way to do it on my PC. In the app there are also buttons on the right side of the map to download location data and to show the location of your phone. I think you may be able to find your way back to your vehicle using this feature because it appears to show your phones location in relation to the Cubes.
In conclusion I would say that Cube has done a very good job with this device and the battery life seems to be very good as well. There are a few things they could do to improve the app interface and the online experience. I am not sure if the live tracking was an issue with the device and connection issues or an app problem. It will take more testing to figure that out. However, that does not keep it from doing it’s job. Next I would really like to see a condense button when pulling up the written out part of the history. Also, I would like to see a feature to save your parked vehicles location and use your phone to get back to it. Other than that I believe the web version of the map history should have all of the features of the app and vise versa. It just makes things cohesive and simplifies the flow of things. The Cube GPS Pro is definitely a good device and I would not hesitate to recommend it. It just needs refinement like any other product in pursuit of perfection.

5 Stars – Exceeded Expectations!
Wait... I don't have to wait for shipping?! That alone is a win in my book. But this Cube Tracker has so much more going for it. The battery lasts almost a year, which is perfect for someone like me who hates constantly charging. It even comes with an awesome magnet, making it super convenient to attach to anything without hassle.
The app isn’t trash either—super easy to navigate and works exactly as promised. And the best part? It’s all just under $100 with no hidden subscription costs of $20 a month like some other trackers. Finally, a product that’s worth every penny. Highly recommend it!

The CUBE GPS devices are amazing trackers, but their app leaves a little to be desired as they try to be an alternative to TILE, etc.
I got the big boy - the Cube GPS Pro - It comes in kind of a chintzy box, which makes me feel like its either not a finished product or that they're a cheaper product vendor, but the product itself is made of VERY sturdy materials - The magnets on this thing are STRONG - I was able to attach it to several places on a vehicle, and onto a tow trailer with no worries that it would detach, and confirmed that it survived several trips without movement or any changing of where it was assigned to sit magnetically.
The item is VERY dense and heavy - I also tested this for 3 days with each item and didn't have to re-charge the battery. (I did charge it between them, just to be sure, and haven't had the device long enough to do a full rundown test on how long it actually lasts.
I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an industrial-grade tracker for commercial equipment or a vehicle, as even in the trunk of the car it had no problem getting a lock on the real-time location of my property.
Only 2 areas of criticism.
One - Why USB Micro-B in 2024? USB Type C is the multi-industry STANDARD for charging, data, etc. Including this old crappy cable in the box doesnt help me when I dont have any A-based chargers anymore that are more than 5w, so charging this beast was a SLOW SLOW process! Give me Type C charging, and I can plug this into any Laptop charger and juice up in a few hours.
Two - the app and the account management seems to be lacking a bit - The app has a VERY basic UI and doesn't integrate into any other ecosystems - So you're stuck managing this device and its location in the CUBE app - Its kind of like other tracking apps, but has limited UI sophistication, and the pairing/setup process took me a few tries with the app crashing until we got it right - I can imagine if I get a few more things from their stable of products that this will become frustrating if I depend on it.
All in all it does what it purports to do well and is a strong sturdy device at doing it. If the charging was Type C it would be a 5-star product.

This is a really great device. The entire setup was pretty simple overall, but the app was a little glitchy at first but once you know how to resolve it the whole thing works great.
Out of the box the instructions say to plug it in and the light will flash red and when it goes solid then its charged and ready to go. It claims 5-6 hours. I charged it and after about 4 hours it when solid red so I just thought my battery was a little fuller than normal. Once it was all set up I checked the power level and it was actually only about 40%. I later charged it again and after almost 7 hours it went from 36% to 88%. It took almost 10 hours to get to 100%, but even then it never went back to solid red. Maybe its because the device was actually working as it charged so it was always just a little off of completely full? Either way, when you get it I would charge it over night at the least.
Downloading the app went smoothly. No problems setting up my account either. I followed the instructions to register the device and at that point it makes you sign up for a subscription and you can’t really do anything else until you do. That’s fine, and it seemed to go pretty well. This is where I got a glitch. After adding the device it said it was added but the unit wasn’t showing up in my app. I could hold down the button on the unit and my phone would send me a notification like its supposed to, but if I open the app the device isn’t there and I couldn’t see the notifications. Eventually I closed down the app, like force stop restart your phone level close down the app, and when I opened it again the unit appeared and everything was working fine.
Using the app and device worked will. It tracks thins pretty accurately and the updates are pretty consistent. The instructions tell you not to put it in a metal box or hide in next to engines and stuff so I was worried it would lose reception really easily in my car, but testing in 3 different cars and they all worked just fine. I even put it in a storage unit my neighbor has and it got the signal through that metal just fine. I wonder if the advice is for people who are using it regularly to track things in more remote locations and if the cell towers are farther away it causes issues. But if you’re mostly in and around areas where phone reception is pretty good, you shouldn’t have a problem.
Battery life was a bit interesting. I had it on 1 min. location updates (the shortest period) for the first couple days and the battery level went down about 1% per day. At that rate you’d need to recharge it overnight every 3 months or so. Not the 1 year advertised, but really not bad. Once I turned down the updates to every 10 min (the longest period) it seamed to go about 1%-1.5% in three days. That would make it closer to 6-7 months on a charge. Still short of the advertised 1 year, but it was sitting in a hot car in 100 degree weather which they say affects how long the charge lasts. So I’d say that if you were in ideal conditions of mostly in a garage and then in the air conditioned / heated portion of a vehicle you might get a year, but you should generally consider it needing to be recharged every 3-6 months. That’s still pretty good all things considered.
The size of the device is about the same as a cell phone, but 2-3 times a thick, and I’m pretty sure most of that is the battery. Its not super heavy but it has around 20 small magnets on the back side to try and attach it magnetically to a vehicle or storage container. I put mine in a glove box so this wasn’t really needed but in trying to test it I put it against a steel bottle and it really didn’t do much so I was skeptical. However, once I put it on a flat surface like my fridge or my friend’s storage container, it held really pretty well. I would personally still be a bit nervous if it was on the underside of a vehicle that was going over some pretty bumpy terrain, but the magnets were fairly strong.
The unit uses cell towers to communicate, and the monthly service fee really is the cost of the plan plus a bit extra. It’s a bit pricy as far as service plans go for what you’re getting but its supposed to be good internationally. We have a road trip to our neighboring country up north next month and I’ll be able to test how good it is up there. We put it on my dad’s boat and took it out on the lake and it worked well. It even seemed to have slightly better reception than my phone.
The biggest issue I had was the cost of the subscription. The device is good, but its not much better than a phone with a tracking app. So, if you are looking to see where a car is but have location sharing with the driver, it’s a bit useless. On the other hand, if you’re looking for piece of mind by hiding it on equipment that might get stolen, or to track a worker driving a vehicle that doesn’t want to share their location with you, then its going to be worth it. It does have a feature that you can geofence the unit in and it will tell you when the device enters or leaves that area. That’s where I think it may be a little more useful in a commercial setting than a residential one. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m also interested to know if you can let your subscription lapse and just leave the unit charged and on in a care or storage container, but only reactivate your subscription if the equipment goes missing and you want to track it. If so, that could make it a bit more useful for cheaper security and tracking.
All said and done it’s a pretty useful little device, even if I won’t pay for a subscription all the time, only in the months I’m wanting to use it. And as long as you know to fully shut down the app or restart your phone if it gives you any trouble it should work pretty well for you too.

The gps tracker is awesome. The magnet is very strong and signal is great. The battery last for a long time and the app tells you what the battery life is. The tracker is undetectable by any smart phone and name can be hidden from Bluetooth search. The tracker provides a both a map view or list view of locations traveled. Movement alerts can be set up for different time intervals. You can also set up a gel fence for when the tracker enters and or exits the geo fence . I have a fence set as my home and my daughter’s school so I know when she leaves for school, arrives to school and leaves school . Love this product and the app!

After my son-in-law's truck was stolen several months ago (recovered quickly fortunately before it was damaged too much) we were looking for a better tracking system. He did have an Apple Air Tag hidden in the truck, and that is how it was recovered so quickly. However, since an Air Tag can only report its location when within range of an iPhone, iPad or Mac, there were numerous gaps in our ability to track the truck. The Cube uses its own cellular connection to position report, along with a GPS receiver, you have semi real-time and constant updates on its position. I have it set for position reports every 5 minutes, but that can be increased to every minute if it were stolen again for more precise location reporting.
The software might perhaps benefit from some updates, though. I could not get the app to send a firmware update to the Cube. Tech support is investigating, but so far doesn't have an answer. They have been great to deal with, by the way. I would also prefer the tracking map to be more precise about the route the vehicle has traveled. Perhaps the Cube doesn't maintain a pinpoint location history, but maybe it could be added with a firmware update if it has the memory space. Right now all I see are the places it has appears to stop at, rather than the route(s) taken. That's really to only thing I can think of that would improve what is already a very good product.
