Used this item for a while as a coffee maker and did great, love the filter feature. OFC, 1st time after prepping the filter for the Pod side it's DOA right after the return policy expired. Best Buy needs to remove this item, now that I read all the poor reviews, it's a common issue, and at $200 is a huge waste of money.

Our coffee machine finally quit working so we went looking for a new one and found this one and it was exactly what we wanted. Compact, easy to use, easy to fill. Perfect size for having both the coffee pot and pod use side. Clean simple looking. A name brand we often buy.

Solid Replacement

When our coffee maker quit working we discovered that the vendor no longer made the model we had so we needed to find a replacement. After exhaustive research, we decided on the Cuisinart as it was one of the few models that made a cup or a pot of coffee and while the reviews were not great, the Cuisinart was the best of the bunch. So far everything works fine and we are satisfied. Not a fan of the water chamber as it requires filters, but a small inconvenience.

Coffee So Good It Might File Taxes for You

Listen, I’ve owned a lot of coffee makers in my day. Single-serve ones. Full pots. French press. I even tried cowboy coffee once. (Spoiler: do not recommend unless you enjoy chewing your caffeine.) But this Cuisinart? It’s the Swiss Army knife of caffeine delivery systems. It brews a strong cup, or twelve, without blinking. Probably without even blinking lights...this thing is efficient.
Want a quick cup before your 8 a.m. Zoom call? Boom...K-cup side. Need to fuel a group therapy session (aka brunch with the in-laws)? Fire up the 12-cup pot and let it rain.
I also appreciate that it doesn’t look like a spaceship from a Marvel movie. It’s sleek, it’s black stainless, and it says, “Yes, I take coffee seriously but I also pay my bills on time.”
Bonus: it doesn’t sound like a dying walrus when brewing. Quiet enough that it won’t wake the dog, but strong enough to wake you—which is the point.
Highly recommend. Coffee’s great, options are better, and I swear this thing makes me 12% more likable before 9 a.m.

Reliable all in one coffee machine

Great reliable coffee machine for brewing and k-cups w/ 5 sizes. Allows for coffee pot to remain heated for up to 4 hours, and programmable to brew. This replaced a new Keurig all-in-one brew machine due to the basket kept overflowing when brewing a pot of coffee. It was less than 6 months old, and didn’t compare to this machine-I donated it to a charity. And my last Cuisinart coffee machine lasted 10 1/2 years and we brewed 1-2 pots a day, and used the k-cup at min 3-5 x per day. It got a major workout. Well worth the money.
I gave this brewing machine 5 stars though, it does not feel as sturdy as my previous machine and I doubt that it will last 10 years, however it does come with a 3 year warranty. And that is longer than most.

I've had my current unit for a few days now and I really would like to give it 5 stars. The versatility with how I can brew my coffee, the ease of use -- so far, all of it is everything I could hope for despite not being a big coffee drinker.
That said, a simple scroll through reviews will tell you the main problem: The podside of this machine is often broken on units. It wasn't until my current unit -- the second one -- that I've had a good experience.
Obviously I was able to bring the first unit back to Best Buy. The location I brought it to didn't have another on hand so I had to order another (which thankfully worked). Thankfully that arrived in tact and has worked exactly as I hoped over the past few days. Assuming this ends up having reasonably good longevity and working as it should, I'll be happy.
PRO TIP: First thing to do when you buy this item is plug it in and open up the pod bay and make sure the Pod Light is blinking on the machine. This didn't happen at all with my first unit and I didn't know to look for that. (Though I'm sure others will.)
Ultimately, I think I'll love this machine in the long run. But it is pricey at $200 considering it seems like there's a 20% chance it doesn't work out of the box. Hopefully whatever is causing this defect -- which is clearly a known issue -- gets fixed for future models.

A very good coffee maker. Once you figure out the dials and proper ratios, the coffee is good, the maker is quick and works like a charm. The only thing missing from previous Cuisinarts I've had is a silence alarm setting, which you can't do on this one that I've seen. So it beeps when it's finished. Nice unless other people are sleeping. Also unless the carafe lid is very well secured it will leak a bit on your counter when you pour. Finally, you can only timer set caraffe, not single cup. Probably not a problem but don't expect that.

A week before Christmas, my wife casually said, "It's about time to get one of those." As I walked through the store, I spotted this one. A great Christmas present for two octarians. Easy to use. Efficient service. Effortless coffee.

I love this coffee maker. I had the previous model and it finally died. This is a good combination for users like me. I grind my own bean and set the carafe side to make coffee every morning. Works fine. When I occasionally want hot water for tea or want a quick cup of coffee I'll use the pod side. So far so good on this new model.

I bought this coffee maker for my wife, who drinks coffee every day. I really enjoy the concept of making a single cup or a whole pot. Granted, it is on the louder side, so if you are trying to be quiet in the morning, that may be difficult. The carafe part is mostly quiet. The k cup part of it makes a lot of noise when it's finished. My biggest issue with it is that it pokes GIANT holes in k cups. Even when I use the reusable k cups it spits grounds all over the place. It ends up in my coffee and all over the inside when you open it. Please keep that in mind when buying it.

Love the versatility of this coffee maker. Both single cup and full pot. I was surprised at how much better my first cup of coffee from this Cuisinart was in comparison to my previous Kuerig.

This coffee maker replaces a Keurig slim. I don’t know why I didn’t try this machine sooner. It makes the best cup of coffee (pot or k cup) I’ve had in a long time. There is only one complaint: filling the carafe side with water is not as easy as it could be. The water level is on the side and it Is hard to maneuver to fill and see the level if you are filling from the front (I.e. like most normal people will do). Other than that I LOVE it. Very highly recommend.

Very reliable and easy to use. You can do the individuals k-cups, you can do cold brew, or just a regular pot of coffee. Has a seperate reservoir for individual cups or entire pot. Looks great on the counter as well
