Bad Product

Even on max settings bread is barely toasted and requires another turn which usually then burns the toast. The release at the end of the toast cycle is barely noticeable. Regret this purchase and surprised a well-known brand like Cuisinart would release such a bad product.

Terrible toaster

It was fine for a couple months but then-- it only toasts part of the toast. I can't set it any higher than 2 or part of the toast is black and the remaining barely brown. I hope it Dies soon so I can replace it!

The defrost setting is a joke the center of my toaster strudel was cold while the outside was toasted (medium) on a 4 setting. Unfortunately I missed my opportunity to return it.

Do not like the controls on the toaster
