ugly and too big. i never used it to rate how it works

Buy something else. Junk. Burned toast or no toast. Nothing in between

love it !! Toasts great !! Nice small size to fit in a small kitchen

O usually lovr Cuisinart appliances but not this one. The toaster is timny, takes several pushes on the lever to get it to toast, barely fits wide items such as bagels, and is unpredictable for thin bread. I was tired of my old toaster and bought this model

Knob feels like it's going to break off at any minute. The electrical cord is barely longer than the toaster, which is important to mention because it connects towards the front of the toaster (on the bottom, yes, but there's a reason I'm mentioning this). The front of the toaster near the lever gets blazing hot. The whole toaster gets hit, but especially near the lever because that's near where the plug goes in and contains the main heating element. Most toasters put this in the back so you don't burn yourself. Cuisinart put this in the front so you will burn yourself. One of the poorest designs I've ever seen. Must've saved them $0.50 a toaster! Man, they'll make millions on this bad design. This is profit-seeing crap from top to bottom. It looks kinda nice, at least. The rest, junk. Stay away.

We have had the toaster about a month. Looks good and toast bread and bagels, and rewarms very good as well

This toaster has a nice retro look that matched our stainless steel appliances, and it worked well toasting bread and bagels consistently for 2.5 years. The defrost and bagel buttons seemed to work well too. However, after 2.5 years, the push-down lever would no longer engage/stay at the bottom. I think the simple plain white toaster that we owned prior to this one lasted a lot longer and was purchased for a lot less.

We just bought this and tested it when we got it home; it's going back. On our old toaster (a Brevell that lasted many years), and every other toaster I've seen that has a Bagel button, only toasts the center in Bagel mode. So I was surprised when all 4 coils lit up. Sure enough, the Owners Manual says that the only thing the Bagel Mode button does is keep the toaster on longer. Huh? It would have been nice if they mentioned this odd behavior on the outside of the box, so we knew about it before bringing it home.

This was a dissapointing pur. darkness dial and the baegle button never worked. had to put bread down 3 to 4 times to get it close to a medium brown.

Great stainless look and compliments the kitchen look. It's to reheat, defrost and accommodates bagels.

Not worth the money.... Impossible to set....either burns the toast or toasts correct on ONE SIDE ONLY and the other side is not toasted at all. SAVE YOUR BUCKS!

Only had this toaster 3 years. Forget the settings. The only one it knows is burn the toast. Have to stand there and keep popping up to see if its done.

Every time you use it, it will either burn one side and they other is fine or it doesnt toast them enough I have tried multiple settings on it but it seam like one of the heaters is going out or somthing.

The mechanics of the toaster is poor; for example, the user is forced to push the lever down innumerable amount of times in order for it to remain in place.

Works minimally adequately, but doesn't toast evenly and it wobbles on the counter. Previous experience with Cuisinart has been good, so I was disappointed with this.

This toaster looks good and does toast sort of OK. Two negatives - one annoying - the timer knob is too loose - knock the toaster and the timer changes! i.e. you HAVE to adjust the timer every time you toast. Second, and why I am RETURNING it - It does NOT COOK BAGELS correctly - pressing the "bagel" button still has both elements (both sides) on FULL and INCREASES THE COOKING TIME on BOTH SIDES!! That means burnt on both sides if you like toast medium or medium well and don't turn the timer down. If you turn the timer down, you simply get under-done since you can't toast one side only etc.. The "BAGEL" setting should TURN DOWN one side (top/bottom) so they only toast slowly. as they are usually shiny or seeded and burn horribly in this toaster if you want the faces of the bagel toasted/brown.

Toasts unevenly. To get one side toasted, you have to burn the other, This is the 2nd I bought of Cuisinart. Same problem. You would think Cuisinart would be good. Will not buy another one,
