Did a side-by-side comparison with another waffle iron using the same exact batter. This waffle iron made flat dense waffles while the other waffle iron made fluffy thick waffles.

Purchased this to make waffles for our family but wound up returning it.
Pros: Heavy duty, easy to clean
large waffles (really more like 2 at once rather than 1)
Deep waffles
Cons: Large, takes up quite a bit of space even though it can store upright
HOT! tends to burn or almost burn the bottom of the waffle while the top isn't nearly as done (this is why we wound up returning it). Cooks the bottom before you can get it all spread out.
