Seems to run a bit higher temperatures, requiring medium dark toast to be on a setting of 2.5. Temperatures of 3.5 to 4.5 result in nearly burnt toast. The bagel setting works very well.

Love this toaster, plastic on sides does not get hot to the touch while toasting which I love. Toast very even andvery nice looking.
