Great toaster that has old fashioned knobs . This toasts perfectly and the bagel option works extremely well . My countdown toaster finally bit the dust but the reviews were not so great on the newest model so I decided to go old school and am very glad I did ..........

This toaster is definitely worth a premium price. The assortment of settings makes toasting various choices just right. The bagel setting uses one side of the toaster elements per slot so only the side facing the element gets toasted. That is also very handy if you want to toast buns for sandwiches or burgers. The defrost setting is to pre-warm waffles and other items directly out of the freezer so the food can be accurately toasted once thawed out. All the breads and bagels I have tried so far have been evenly toasted. When your food is done the lever can be pulled up to raise your grub up to be lifted instead of you having to go fishing for it with a fork or knife. The only knock on this toaster I have noticed, and admittedly it is still pretty new to me, is that it does not make the traditional toaster spring up sound when it's done. You can't hear the toast pop up unless you are very close to the unit. I am glad I decided to spend extra for this toaster. The 21st Century options are worth it.

If you want a perfectly toasted piece of bread, bagel, or English muffin, get this toaster! It leaves your breads soft on the inside with a crunch on the outside. It browns each side to perfection. Can handle 1-4 slices at a time! Great value and great toaster!

Great, loved IT. Matches evetrthing un my kitchen. Cuisenart is a great name brand. Its so conveniente for al different ttpes of bread, frozen or Thad out.

Fantastic toaster!! More than I thought it would be. Toasts bread great, French toast, waffles and pancakes come out great. Nice defrost feature while you toast frozen goods.

Does the job as expected. High quality look and feel,seems to be built to last. Very easy to use and make settings changes. Lives up to the Cuisinart name.

This is the best toaster. A little pricey but well worth the cost. Can set each side independantly.

This toaster is as close to perfect as you will ever get with a toaster, it toast the bread the same on both sides and the same from top to bottom and from side to side

Very similar replacement for a 15 year old Kitchenaid toaster that had become unreliable. The features on this one are excellent. Bread is toasted uniformly, English muffin option works well although I’m not really sure how it differs, the one slice button is a plus. We also like dials to set the options rather than buttons, although I was a little turned off by their appearance. They are much easier to read. The extra travel on the levers makes extracting smaller pieces of bread a snap. All in all, a great choice.

does it's job - serving warm breakfast :) I like the color and it fits well with my other kitchen appliances

Easy to use, and can toast: bread, muffins, bagels and waffles! Each side has its own cook level controls. Highly recommend.
