    Although highly rated by different sources, this toaster, like the one I was replacing, simply does not toast in an acceptable manner. While one side of the toast might be evenly toasted, the other side is not. This is the same problem I've had with other, more expensive, toasters. At least I didn't pay a lot of money to find out that they just don't make toasters the way they used to.

    Had a good sale price. Looks nice and works well but the bread comes out more toasted on one side of the bread than the other (same slice)
