This is a great medium sized deep fryer. If you like your fried food crunchy instead of baked in an oven, this is for you. It takes a gallon of oil but straining it through cheese cloth allows you to reuse it for more times. I like that many of the parts are dishwasher safe, cleans the oil off.

Like the other reviewer, mine worked a few times, then failed to heat oil above 100 degrees or so the next time. Avoid. I am actually happier having the counter space back and just frying in a pan again.
