Great quality grinder. Love that you can also use ground coffee as well. There was no reason to consider anything different. 5 stars!

For the price, a good grind and brew

But we're not fans of the price tag for most models. This one has a great price (under $100 usually) and does a decent job brewing coffee. Some basic features like timed brews are available. Missing a strength of brew feature and other things you'd find on the more expensive models. And from our experience, you're replacing this one every four years or so, or when you accidentally break a carafe like I did. Will buy again, and probably again after that.

Not very hot coffee

Wish I could return

The grinder is fine when actually grinding the beans, but it sounds like a jet taking off for about 10-15 seconds after the grinding. So loud! Waked the whole house. And the coffee does not taste particularly good. Not as good as our old Cuisinart DCC-1200P1 Brew Central 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker Coffee Maker. Unfortunately the time to return expired before I could test out this lousy Christmas present.
