We have been pleased with Cuisinart products in the past. However, this item seems cheaply made. The metal is thin (made in China), two rubber feet were missing and, when you stand it on end to store it, the two sides don't stay together. On the positive side, the waffles were good and the plates are easy to clean.

Not the largest waffle maker we’ve had but really like that the plates come off for easy cleaning. Timer and multiple settings help get to the preferred brownness. The griddle plates are a bonus.

I have only made waffles so far & they come out crisp, and evenly browned...so easy ...love it.Also easy to clean & easy to store

I have only made the waffles in this unit and not the pancakes. I make pancakes on the griddle but anyway, the waffles turned out just fine. The unit is a little more flimsy than my original waffle iron. But it’s been 50 years since I’ve had to purchase a second one and things to get, a little more chintzy so to speak. But all in all, it’s a good waffle iron.

Love that the plates are removable. They also have a non-stick finish so are very easy to clean. I DO follow the instructions and spray with shortening before each use. Seems to take a little longer to cook than the one it replaces, but that is not a problem. I was totally unable to find out how many watts it is. either on the BB site, OR on the manufacturer's sight...disappointing. You would think such basic information would be readily available, as it is on most competitors. I would buy it again.

Best waffle iron I have ever had. Clean-up is so easy. Great to be able to put plates in dishwasher after use. So easy to adjust the cooking time (1st one was a test ). I am very happy with it.

So far the waffle maker has been great. We made about a dozen batches and every time the consistency is the same, soft and slightly crisp on the outside. We are very happy with the purchase.

Replaced our waffle iron and it was so old you can't purchase one like it. This purchase was as close as we could get and it works well. Only concern is that it is about 2/3 the size of the one we replaced. Do recommend though.

Poor design at the edge of lid and can’t contain mixture in no matter how little of a batch you try
