Our water tastes terrible so I was looking for a coffee pot with a carbon filter. This pot has that so our coffee has been tasting great. We were also looking for a better quality pot so we feel as if this pot is better than our previous pots

This coffee maker works well. It's basic, but programmable. I had a prior model like this before that died after about twelve years. I saved the carafe and it fits, so now I have a back-up if the glass carafe breaks.

Purchased to replace 10 year old Krups unit, this my new favorite. Great features especially like the ability to adjust the temp of the warming plate. No more burnt coffee if you don't drink it right away.

I love the coffee this brewer makes but I wish the water level would be displayed on the outside. I especially like the 4 cup setting. Most coffee makers don't have that feature.

While the Cuisinart brand costs a little more than other brands, it's well worth it! I've been using this coffee maker almost daily for over two years and it still works great!

Does what it should. Got tired of buying a new Mr Coffee or B&D every year, so spent a little more. Well worth it. Really like the wide mouth opening to carafe, making it easy to hand rinse or put in the dishwasher.

I hate to buy new coffee makers, but after reading the reviews I went with this one. Very easy to program without checking over owners manual all the time. Also makes a great cup of coffee.

Great option to use the gold filter or paper filter depending on your preference. You can make as little or as much coffee as you desire. Easy to use a great coffee maker.

We have been using this Cuisinart coffee maker model for more than 12 years. Currently on our third. We've used them heavily and after several years just buy a new one. Easy to use, makes great coffee. Really like the 4 hour auto-off timer. Most others are 2 hours. On sale for $40 was my cue to replace the old one.

Excellent product. Coffee comes out hot and stays warmer than most other brands. This is our 3rd one in 8 years, but we drink a lot of coffee.

When my original 11 yr old cuisinart was burnt up due to electrical issues, I tried several other cheaper brands. But returned them all. This cuisinart is the best.

I have had enough k-cup fad,thought it was time to get back to real coffee. I like that this machine will do 2-4 cups.The heater plate could be a bit hotter.This is a good coffee maker.

I've owned Cuisinart products for years (pleased with all of them) and purchased this one for my sister-in-law. It didn't disappoint. It makes consistently good coffee. Automatic features are functional.

The Cuisinart DCC-1200 is a great coffee maker that makes great coffee. The gold tone filter is great but I prefer using a paper filter too. I'm not sure why it comes with and recommends #4 filters, as #2 sized filers fit just right. The black and silver finish complements my kitchen, so it looks good too. I like the 4-cup button which optimizes brewing for a small brew that just fits in my coffee mug to go.

Got this coffee pot for my dad. He had one like it for ten years and it went out. He loved the coffee pot so I got him another one just like it to replace it. He was very happy.

I love how the coffee maker brews and keeps the coffee at a very hot temperature.. Some coffee makers keep it luke warm and it turns cold the minute you add milk.

My first one got broken (human error, not the machine) and I replaced it with an identical one. It has a water filter, brews a nice consistent cup of coffee, and is programable and looks good. It doesn't try to be more than it is: just the best basic home coffee pot I've ever come across. The button and dials take a bit of learning, but nothing too horrid.
