I am hoping that durability will be a major factor in granting an excellent review. I have only had the machine for about 6 weeks and so far love it. Got tired of coffee pots not lasting more than 15 months on average due to daily use, sometimes multiple times daily. Love the auto shut off time feature of 1 - 4 hours or to be able to shut the auto off completely. Currently using the 4 hour shut off and usually have to shut it off manually before then since pot is emptied. Was skeptical to buy because of price, so am hoping it is worth it.

This is a fantastic coffee maker, especially for the price. It makes a great cup of coffee, is nice and easy to keep clean, and looks pretty stylish too.

It's a good coffee maker. You have the option of using the reusable filter or a paper one. I haven't been on a regular schedule to be able to use the automatic starter, but that doesn't mean I still can't preload it and just hit a button.

Easy to use and does its job well. Bought to replace another Cuisinart coffee maker that has been in use for 5-6 years. Hopefully this one will last even longer.

I just bought this coffeemaker for the 3rd time. It lasts and lasts even though I use it daily. The coffee tastes great! Better than those more expensive makers.

This is the second coffee maker of this make and model we have purchased. We were so pleased with the first one, we didn't want to change. It makes wonderful coffee, and the first one lasted many years

Over the last decade we had two leaky Sunbeam makers (sans carafe) and then a mid-range Mr. Coffee from the supermarket that lasted about 6 months before giving up the ghost. After much shopping around I decided to go for this unit even though I have no opinion about Cuisinart products. Turns out that not only does its retro design perfectly match our high-end kitchen decor, the ham-fisted better-half Luddite (hence the no-carafe Sunbeam units) continuously raves about. It is a superbly designed unit overall and I have zero complaints in spite of the fact that I am a life-long product tester and very picky about these sort of things.

One of the best coffeemakers we have ever owned...

This is my third time with this coffee maker. The last one lasted over 8 years which is sensational. Daily use and some times several pots per day. This little machine just works for me and I just couldn't do without it. There is not much I would even change on it if I had that opportunity. I love that friendly beep-beep in the early morning. I would be sick if they ever discontinued making this and this is the second one that I have bought from BB. I would highly recommend this maker to family and friends.

We are on our 3rd purchase of this model. We like having the grinder & brewer all together. You can pull the pot out before the brew cycle finishes to get your 1st cup quickly. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the number of parts, but once you learn how to put all the parts in it is relatively easy to deal with.

I love the look of this coffee maker on my buffet bar. It is so easy to use. It didn't get the fifth star because of the snap on lid. I prefer an attached flip lid.

Overall, very happy with this coffee maker. Easy to use and makes a great cup. Wish brew complete beep could be turned off, and difficult to see the clock without bending down.

This coffee maker is nothing short of amazing. Your first cup of coffee is always the best. Set your karaf temp and paired with the right grind, you will remember why you started drinking coffee in the first place. I will love this machine until the day I die. And if I play my cards right, maintain everything and keep up with cleaning, I will have it that long. Make no mistake about it, for the money, it's the best you will ever find. And also notice on television shows, movies, etc. you will start to notice it everywhere! Try for yourself, and realize that this is by far the best cup of coffee you will ever have in the comfort of your own home. -Ash

Do you enjoy your coffee. Well I do and I drink coffee probably 18 hours a day. My coffee maker is on from 6am til 11pm everyday. This is my 3rd one of this make and model and I ware them out about every two to three years. For the normal family that makes their morning coffee before leaving for work, it has a time to start it and it’s ready for you when you roll out of bed. Auto shut off so no need to worry if you forgot about it as you run out the door. I’ve yet to find any other brand that will hold up to my coffee demands.

Used every day it should last 5+ years if you take care of it. This design is a work horse for sure. It is our 3rd in 13 years. Makes great coffee too.

Pretty good coffee maker. Comes with its own filter, convenient. Has ability to store water and make only desired amounts. Nice design. Has a heater for the pot.
