Read the manual before you try and use it, it may not work quite the way you think. It's tall and the water goes in at the back so if you have overhead cabinets you will have to rotate it to get the water in. Other than that it works just fine.

Makes a great cup of coffee but it uses alot of beans. Be prepared to use a 12oz bag of beans to make 4-8 cup pots with brew strength set on the middle setting. Another draw back is that I like to dump the used coffee grounds as soon as the coffee is done brewing. With this unit when you open the basket to empty the grounds it turns the warming plate off and your coffee gets cold fast. For me this is a major draw back. Over all the unit is ok. If you don’t mind buying lots of coffee beans and if you don’t mind the bitter taste that can come from leaving the grounds in the basket and having the water that remains in the beans drain and drip into your pot of coffee. I think for the price of this machine, they could do alot better.

Recently purchased this grind and brew machine. First off we love how we don’t have to grind our beans separately and one less machine to keep on the counter. The auto brew feature works great. By the time we wake up and showered, the coffee is already brewed. Since it grinds the beans right before brewing, the noise from the grinder is a friendly reminder to wake up if I oversleep or hit the snooze too many times. We are looking at buying a second to keep on hand since these styles seem to becoming less and less common.

So far so good. I have purchased and used 2 of the prior models and only had an issue with one of them. It seems to be better constructed than the prior versions.

It took a little practice until we understood how to use the coffee maker. Everything is working well now.

This is the third Cuisinart Coffee Maker with Grinder...no, the fourth, that I have purchased. I love the coffee bean bin! Graet idea. One less thing to drag out in the morning. I'm a coffee wimp...I don't like it too strong. So I put on the weakest setting 1 out of 3), and it is perfect. Most will like 2 or 3 better, but this is fine for me and miy sensitive tummy. The machine is great. NOTE: Dear Cuisinart, if I had to quibble (and I don't but I guess I will), the two tabs you have in the back to lift the cover on the water well...they need to be redesigned...and not so slippery. They taper in, so if you and they are too short, so it is a bit frustrating...but that is a small thing...then your product is perfect!

I've had this coffee pot for about 6 months now. It makes great coffee. I also bought a Brim coffee grinder that grinds the amount of coffee needed for the amount of water you put in the coffee machine. I highly recommend this coffee machine and the Brim coffee grinder.

Despite what some consider to be a high price for this device, I love it and have no buyer's remorse. Works well for grinding beans as well as when already ground coffee is uses. Delivers the coffee quickly and has a strong heat plate that can be adjusted for how long the plate stays warm. Consistent results.

10-1-2021 water pump failed on our unit. The clock has always run fast, adding a minute per day. Coffee it produced when working was very good and I plan to replace it with something similar but don’t know that I would buy another Cuisinart

Grinding the beans fresh in the morning is the way to go. I’ve had this for a few months now, and haven’t had any issues. It’s pretty straight forward to operate. The hopper hasn’t clogged, which was an initial concern, but happy to report no issues. Quality cup-o-Joe!

I like this coffee maker because it is easy to use and makes HOT coffee. Other grinder/brewers I tried just seemed to be able to make lukewarm coffee. I also like the glass carafe because the metal ones are too heavy when filled.

I have been using this coffer maker for about a month and love it. Getting up to a fresh ground cup of coffee can't be beat. Fairly easy to use. Highly recommend for coffee drinkers.

Grinds and brews relatively quickly. Coffee is almost always perfect.

Made very cheaply. Carafe is junk and doesn’t pour well at all. Insufficient grinder adjustability so best grind/flavor very difficult to achieve. No temperature adjustment? Uses flat bottom filter instead of cone. Cuiinart cone filter coffee makers have usually brewed superior coffee. Biggest issue is no thermal carafe. Buy the 10 cup version with thermal carafe!

Have had this about a month now and it works as advertised. Uses a little too much coffee when you leave the grinder to decide how many beans to grind from the hopper but that is easily controlled by just adding a measured amount of beans into the hopper instead of filling it up.

It’s a good coffee maker, but you can’t adjust the strength of the coffee to your preference. I found that if I set it for the strongest setting and for 12 cups, if I only add 8 cups of water it comes out how I like it.

This is a great product. Despite the all features, it is still a compact and space friendly on the kitchen countertop space. I love self grinding option!

The owned it for a few months. Definitely like scheduling the coffee maker to have some fresh ground coffee in the morning. Only issue I've been having is some grounds in the coffee when I'm making a full pot.
