I would definitely say they are overpriced at their full retail of $60. Watch for a sale. Anything under $40 i would say is worth it.

The handles of the knives is silky, smooth and butter, soft. They are a pleasure to grip and work with. All different parts of the blade, from the heel, the edge, the spine, and the tip, are all in perfect alignment, very straight, and the edge, very sharp! The protective cases add a nice touch, especially because this means you can store them in a drawer, and yet not worry about the edges being dulled. I would most certainly purchase this set again, and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to upgrade to a more beautiful and professional looking knife set.

The quality is extremely study, and after a full day of cutting Christmas food, the knives were still as sharp as when they came out of the box.
