My first Cuisinart PRC-12 percolator was delivered in December 2020. I really like the product but I’m experiencing corrosion at the heating element nut. I’ve been working with the Cuisinart customer service (they are EXCEPTIONALLY helpful). They have sent me two replacement units thus far. The problem is each unit has the same corrosion issue. Around 14 days corrosion begins and after around 40 days the corrosion is bad. I keep hoping the next replacement won’t corrode as I really like this unit. It’s important to note that I rinse EVERY piece with fresh water after EVERY use then dry them.

This is my second one of these. There is a clear plastic piece at the top that breaks at just over a year. It costs between 15 and 30$ to replace. If it was glass or was made to last, would love to buy again. Great coffee maker until that crucial piece breaks.

My dad loves this. So simple to use. Worka way faster than his old electric percolator. Keeps coffee hot a long time.

PERCOLATOR BREWS COFFEE QUICKLY AND IS EASY TO USE. PURCHASE PRICE IS REASONABLE AND IT IS A GOOD PURCHASE.

I was tired of the big Mr. Coffee mess on my counter. I have wanted to switch back to a percolator for quite some time. It's easier to clean, no film buildups like with the clear urns. Unplug or hide it away, easy as that! It even looks much nicer out on the counter.

Easy and quick to operate. Easy clean up. When finished peculating, coffee hot but not extremely hot, milk cools down coffee quickly. When finished, clean up quick and put it in the pantry till needed again.

Replaced our Presto percolator with the Cuisinart model and could not be happier. The coffee brews fast and stays HOT. Just the way we like it. This particular model has a top that allows you to watch the coffee percolate. Nice feature.

I would recommend this pot to anyone who enjoys a delicious cup of coffee. The pot is easy to prep and clean and the coffee is hot and delicious every time I use it! Also, entire pot ( where the coffee is) is made of stainless steel. Much better for good health!

Works well similar to the same coffee pot of the same brand I had for 5 years however made of total aluminum and very light weight. Won’t last as long.

We drink a lot of coffee around here. Our whole household agrees that perked coffee tastes better than that from a drip machine. Plus, coffee can sit in the Percolator for well over an hour and it won’t acquire a burned taste.

It's getting harder and harder to find a 12 cup, stainless steel, electric perculator coffee pot. This Cuisinart is perfect. It brews a great tasting cup of coffee. I think it does a better job than my drip coffee maker. We got this for our RV. I didn't want a glass carafe because we bounce our RV down the road. I don't have to worry about anything breaking with this pot. I can't say enough good things about this "old time" electric perk pot.

My old Farberware Perk Pot died - I went with this Cuisinart and am glad I did. Brews up to 12 cups - keeps the coffee hot. Nice change from drip machines and K -Cups

Excellent product. All stainless steel, so no hot water going through plastic into your coffee. Works perfectly, very hot perfect coffee in about five minutes. Stays fresh longer in this pot than in the plastic drip makers. Also, Best Buy had the best price by a large margin. Can't go wrong buying this from Best Buy.

We've been using coffee percolators for 15 years. We've been through 3 Farberware 12 cups in that time and the quality has been steadily deteriorating with every purchase and use. Having return the 4th replacement to Macys it was refreshing to buy this Cuisinart model which is clearly back to the quality we expect. Great perc time, efficient heating, elegant pouring spout and above all a really strong and lasting build quality. For sure we won't be going back to Farberware especially as the price was less as well.

It makes great coffee! It perks coffee faster than the older models I have owned. The only thing I have noticed is that it doesn't make as hot coffee as the older models.

I use this everyday. I had this percolator for a while now. I can make how ever many cups I want (it's just me). Coffee is great. It's quick to make as well.

best coffee maker ever. Only fault, the glass Bulb will eventually break, I am on my 3rd on in the last 12 years

Just so wonderful to plug it in and have coffee in a matter of minutes . I have worn out three so far . They are great. If you put glass top on it it would last even longer!

After several years of using a regular coffee maker, we are really enjoying this new Cuisinart Percolator. It is really great to have a great cup or two of great coffee.
