The combination was a great idea for us as we have a regular pot of coffee in the morning but drink coffee or tea or hot chocolate throughout the day so the single side gets a wotkout. However, it is difficult to get the water into the pot side without making a water mess! The amount of water the pod side is about 3 cups and we are constantly refilling. I'm ready to go back to just a kuerig!

Single cups must be pressed in firmly or makes a soffe found mess all over counter,,,, otherwise I love convenience of having a pot and single serve combo. Love the strong setting on the pot and 3 sizes in the single.

I was really excited when I saw this product, but I wish I would have waited for the next incarnation. Its hard to pour the water into the container, and I have had pods explode when using the single-serve function which makes a big mess. Also, I wish it had a metal carafe.

Like the idea of having one coffee maker that does both pot and pods. My only disappointment is the pod system sprays and spits in every direction as it fills the cup. Makes a mess! I have had pod coffee pots before that never did this.

I got this machine because I like to have brewed coffee most of the time but sometimes it is just easiest to make a quick cup with the keurig. It works very well. Keurig side instantly makes a cup with little to no waiting whatsoever. My only complaint is the keurig is a but messy and splatters coffee around the machine when it is making a cup.

Highly recommend this coffee maker. My wife wanted one which did both. Other bands made a large mess how it opened the K Cup. Also night to have the option to make a large pot when we want for visitors.

This item was just what I was looking for and needed. It works great, but there is one thing Coisinart needs to make a change. The 12 cups works great, but the single cup with the design they have splashes and makes a mess. I have inserted a 2 1/2 inch jar to raise the cup up and this works great. The company needs toc come up with an insert that will raise the coffee cup up.

I am on my third replacement of this unit...the coffee pot side works fine however the K cup side does not. It will work fine a few times and then the next time K cups explode and grains are a mess!! I can find no reason this is happening nor can Cuisinart give me one. The return is a hassle because of the shipping. When you call customer service you are told they are experiencing a high number of calls and tell you you can email them. They state they will answer within 24 hours but this isn't true either. I have not used the K cup side yet on this third replacement but since nothing has been improved or updated I don't have much confidence in it. I would like to return it and replace with a dependable unit but customer service tells me I cannot do this.

I've been using this coffee maker for only a few weeks and am not entirely satisfied with it. The 12 cup brewer is fine for the most part. The water reservoir is in the back which causes a bit of a mess when refilling the water. It also beeps 5 times when it's done brewing, which is very annoying early in the morning and cannot be turned off. The single cup side is the issue I've. I've tried all different pods, I've made sure the white arrows line up, I've cleaned it to make sure there were no clogs and it still overflows the coffee grinds. It comes out the top and the bottom filling my cup full of grinds and getting all over my counter. Making it very hard to clean up. No one should be dealing with these issues especially for the price.

Last year around October I purchased the Coffee Center. From day one it leaked and the k-cup side spurted water and/or coffee all over the place. Plus, the k-cups would explode causing a huge mess that was very hard to clean up. Since I purchased this unit at Penney's I was able to return it. I was willing to give it a second chance even though many reviews showed that many people were having the same issue as me. I purchased it again through Best Buy since they had it on sale. This unit even though it leaked, I was not having the same issues with the k-cup side. So I was willing to live with the leak. Well, only a few days past the return period with Best Buy this unit started having problems with the K-cup side. I have had this coffeemaker just over 2 months. I called Cuisinart and was told that not only do I need to pay $10 to have the new one sent to me. I have to incur the cost of returning the defective one to them. This is not a small item and that cost would be pretty expensive. It is not like I have had this coffeemaker for a year or more. No I have it for 2 months. Furthermore, they are still selling a defective coffeemaker. They don't seem to stand behind the products they sell by covering the cost of replacing faulty items. Not unless the state requires you to do so. Cuisinart just doesn't seem to think they should do the right thing. I bought Cuisinart because I thought they were a well-respected company. I will think twice before I ever purchase Cuisinart again. What is even worse is I have not other option but to get the same exact thing that has not proven to be faulty twice.
